I saw MASS open for Styper and then later they came to a college near me. My friend and I got front row seats and rushed to the front of the stage and stood at the stage and cheered and head banged with our arms raised for the entire concert and we kept wondering why the lead singer was smiling most of the time. As it turns out my friend and I were the ONLY two people at the stage!!!! It was hilarious! Here is a guy singing to girls and it is only two guys getting up close. Hilarious!!! Cool band and cool memories! THANKS MASS!!!!!

Found this not long after its release on cassette format in the used section of my local (at the time) music shop (WaxTree Records, Winter Park, Florida) & still have it in my collection to this day! Excellent melodic metal with PUNCH! And yes, I believe this is a Christian band but you wouldn't know listening to it since there are no preachy lyrics - their subsequent releases mellowed quite a bit compared to this one & the lyrics also carried a more religious tone, so depending what you like (I would highly recommend THIS one over the later releases!) proceed as necessary based on your personal preference!

They are still going strong in 2019! And although many people lump their earlier works in with Christian music (partly due to their Michael Sweet connection) , they do have a strong Christian faith message in "Sea of Black" (2010) and their 2018 cd "When 2 Worlds Collide" . (Christian , NOT Religious)!
@Chrispy Pelletier Hey! Some 30 years ago now, Michael produced their album "Voices In The Night" (1989) . They have always remained close. On their newest cd, he also lays down some guitar work on the song "Stand Alone".
Why weren't these guys bigger? Just as good or better than most bands of the 80's record company Boobs were looking for Poison like bands. I think that terrible joke for a Poison, did more harm than grunge.
Poison first CD came out in the late 80s, it wasn´t their fault, record labels weren´t pushing that stuff in 85. in fact, I´d say many bands in 85 sounded more like this album, and it probably made it difficult to stand out.
