This is fucking magical. The only thing that Maniac wants us to do is fucking rock. I'm down with that. Their message is heard. This album should have been the soundtrack of a generation. Instead it was exiled into obscurity. The story is much like the spoken word part in We Swear At You. You have to fight for your right to rock! And I think it's time for the world to know the majesty that is Maniac.

Metallica was killer with "Kill 'Em All" Fabulous with "Ride The Lightning", Deep with "Master Of Puppets" and after the death of Cliff Burton... they're falling down. Today Metallica is just a name. Not a band. Maybe Metallica and Maniac are different kinds of metal even in the 80's. Metallica is a kind of classic speed metal. IMHO This is closer Speed-metal than Power-metal but remains closest to NWOBHM and stuff than Judas Priest to me. Power-metal is Manowar, Helloween, Savatage and bands treating mytological stuff, swords, dragons, elves and goblins. not bad good 80's metal album from band maniac. good power vocals from the frontman, never heard them before but i like so remind me of another metal band running wild. with the power riffs and vocals. the feels for this album are awesome. it has it moments, and it don't sound overblown. i am impressed.

It also sounds like early American thrash, Metallica's Kill 'Em All and Anthrax's Fistful Of Metal also have that European speed metal feel! Judas Priest and the NWOBHM are behind all that!
Great Album! Reminds me a little like Judas Priest in "1983" When they came out with Defenders Of The Faith! And the Same kind of Style of Dio a little his Solo stuff! And Other good Metal Bands from the very early "80", s! I did hear this back when it first came out! A very good time in my early Teens like Twisted Sister Iron Maiden ,Priest, Dio and Anvil and other great Heavy Metal!

Trash - это мусор, а музыка, которую играли Slayer сотоварищи - thrash. Впрочем, какая разница, многие говорили "слауер" и "ирон маиден" и ничё, да?
