It is insane how happy I am watching you beautify your space. I don't give a flip for Hollywood, this is my A-list 🤣 and OMG it's so satisfying watching the edge take shape!
I spread grass seed a couple weeks ago to repair some patches. I didn't water as frequently as I should have. I noticed there is some fine growth showing. 💚
I quit working my early morning job, so now I'm a member of the morning coffee with Garden Answer gang 🌄 ☕☺️ I love love love seeing this all come together! I am especially excited about seeing your flower shed completed. I am 25 years old, completing my final year of college, and it has been my dream for as long as I can remember to have my own house. Watching your videos gives me so much joy and excitement for what I will be able to create one day in my space. Until I get there I will vicariously live through Laura! Hehe 😜
☕️Good morning to all! It makes my day to begin with Laura beautifying the new space, while sipping coffee with other wonderful viewers around the world. It’s going to be a great start to the weekend! Thank you Laura🌻🌼🥰
I never thought grass could look so beautiful and edging is such a satisfying job, look at that clean edge. I am so thankful that Laura has taken all us viewers on this journey with her and her family.
Looks fabulous! I'm often reminded how edging is like coloring the border in a coloring book image first before filling in. It helps you demarcate your border & outlines the big picture! Love your can-do sidekick, Benjamin too! He's a keeper!
We are having fun watching the transition. Your garden is coming together beautifully and you have become my muse for gardening. I love seeing you start from scratch. Thanks for sharing with your community. 🤗
WOW, ya’ll have created a fabulous oasis. What a beautiful home ya’ll are creating and you’ve done it yourselves from a barren piece of land. Excellent job!!
Good morning from Australia! Oddly satisfying & relaxing watching you make these neat edges for the garden. Loving the progress, Laura! Can’t wait to see what this space will look like in 12 months time 🤩
You have the best Helper in the world 💙 Greetings from Windermere, Florida zone 9b 🇺🇸 Orlando is still so hot, but I hope cooler weather is close by 🌿💚🌿 I love how exact you are with your grass lines. Happy Weekend everyone 💕
Morning! Isn't Benjamin the sweetest! We had frost last night and crunchy grass this morning...wouldn't it be nice to have a happy medium? Have a great weekend! 🌿🇨🇦🌿
@@barbaramclean5995 Hi Barbara, I won't want frost, but 90° is getting old. And our humidity is still so high. But October brings cooler temps and lower humidity so 👍
Edging a flower bed is one of the most satisfying things I do in my garden as well. It makes SUCH a difference and really showcases your flowerbeds like nothing else! Thank you Laura for highlighting this important step some gardeners skip 😊.
I have to mention that I love love love this soundtrack that you guys regularly use. For anyone wondering, it is call Hurt to the Bone by Daniel Gunnarsson. Thanks for bringing it back. You should consider making it your theme song. Thanks for helping add to my music collection.
SO SATISFYING to see those edges! It always seems like Laura gets so much done in so little time. BUT I find that if I set a timer for even just 15 mins, it's always so surprising what I'm able to do. If it's a big job I set the timer for 30 mins, & FORCE MYSELF to take a short break every 30 mins to hydrate, stretch, and be grateful... then back to work:-)
Laura, I love all the plantings! I can’t watch everyday now compared to summer bc I’m back teaching High School…and I miss you! Anything you do around the house or gardens is always welcome! Laura don’t replace your drip tape every year…. Allow it to dry and store for subsequent-years use. It’s helpful to store like lengths together.
I assume this could work on the 1/4” drip emitter lines too. I take mine out of my raised veg beds before recharging the soil and may give this a try as a maintenance thing. We have hard water too and this is the first year I’ve used emitter lines after using soaker hoses.
Thinking back to early Spring and now it’s truly amazing to see how the South Garden has flourished! Both of you have done a incredible job this year and we’ve loved and appreciated every minute of watching it happen!🌻👍🏻🌻
What I really like about your videos. As a new watcher is your knowledge , and that get in and get the job done. Don’t wait for the men to do all the labour. I need to look into doing this to my front yard at some point. Northern Calif is in a serious drought so right now lawn is almost dying. So incredibly sad for me who loves everything thriving, brilliant green lawns & colorful flowers in my little cut garden inspired directly by you Laura. I haven't bought bouquets of flowers since late Spring. Brings such happiness to me and flowers in almost every room every day. Never gets old. thank you
I could watch people work all day! 😂 Seriously though, watching the edging get done is so satisfying! 🤩 I'm in the same Zone 6 with the same soil type, so knowing that Kentucky Blue and Perennial Rye grows so well gives me hope that our 1.5 acres around our house can also be that green and lush. 🌱 Now to talk my husband into investing in a sprinkler system off our well, instead of our current system of dragging 100' hoses around! 🤔
Wow... An avid gardener with a farming background, and everywhere I look, Whooh! A ton of work. I'm super impressed every time I see you developing this property.
Your new lawn looks so good, can't wait to see you guys stroll down the grass with bare feet. Great job Laura on the edging it looks so much better. Love your videos, I always look forward to new ones everyday. Enjoy the rest of your day.
That is satisfying!! And yes... to see the grass pathways already in place at this time of your planning is so amazing! I love the beds etc, but something about your pathways ... they make me happy too 🥰👍🏼
My husband just got me an edger and im watching your video to learn how to do this the right way. Your video's are always helpful and I love watching you plant and do all the gardening.
Just a reminder.... We NEVER get tired of seeing the drone shots ! Is it possible to see another one after you spread the new delivery of compost? Totally loving the transformation of the south garden.
Another lovely video! I feel like once you’ve got all the pathways and garden beds in you’re still going to need to keep a small crusty dirt pile around just for Benjamin to play with his trucks. 🤣🤣 He’s such a cutie. As always, thanks for all the work you put into these videos, they’re such a joy to watch! 🥰
So beautiful to see and happy for you that your vision becoming a reality. I find myself smiling through most of your videos because they are so positive - and your enthusiasm is contagious.
Of course we enjoy this video! Straight lines do bring great satisfaction The green grass is so lush and love seeing the plantings that you have put in. The yellow flowers look great. Can't say it enough, love watching the transformation!
Laura! This is such a beautiful video of you and Benjamin. It reminds me of my childhood in India and how I used to help my mum with gardening and since then I am in love with plants. Thanks a lot. God bless you all.
I can't wait to see the finished gardens and all the little extras you and your husband add to make it look absolutely amazing. You have such an eye for detail which brings the entire landscape together beautifully. Great job guys. What an inspiration!
I'm head gardener for an inner city adventure playground in the UK and I work with a wonderfully diverse group of volunteers, mostly parents of the children we support here. We've established widlife areas, a sensory garden, orchard aswell as a kitchen garden providing fresh healthy free food to the kitchen so as we can provide free meals for the children during the playground sessions. They love the garden and are very active in assisting we growing and harvesting our crops aswell as cooking the meals we provide 😋 The site suffered a terrible fire during lockdown at the beginning of last year but it afforded us the opportunity to completely redesign the space and how it could be used. I greatly appreciate all your invaluable encouragement , knowledge and ideas and I often share some of your videos with our volunteer gardening whatsapp group. Laura and Aaron, The before and after transformation of your south garden area is awesome. And listening to your plans, you’re just getting started! We can clearly see the result of dedication and a ton of hard work. Benjamin and Samantha Grace are living the best lifestyle, free to play outdoors and spend lots of time with their family. In many ways, my childhood and life is very much like your family’s. I try not to take any of it for granted. Very blessed. Your videos are all so good!
Oh wow! Everything is coming together so nicely. You really do have an eye for design and implementing it. Never what I had imagined the grass pathways would look. It looks so good!
Wow Laura such a great job which has made a huge difference to the look of the New Property. Benjamin is such a great little helper and enjoys being in the thick of things, I can see him one day running Andrews Seed Co.
thanks to watching Laura edge her grass I bought the same half moon shape shovel :)))) now I keep edging on my future flower beds , slowly chipping away more and more space from the boring grass lawn that is way too big and boring if you ask me :)) p.s. I also made a bouquet with my first year trying to grow dahlias and zinnias in the same style that Laura makes hers and she liked it:) ugh little things that give us joy, never have I ever expected to be sooo excited by my little patch of zinnias , omg
It is so satisfying to see all your hard work paying off. It is really coming together into a cohesive garden area. It is looking so good I can't wait to see what your next step is going to be. Thanks for letting us share your journey.
Laura, I wish I had even a drop of your energy and enthusiasm! It's always so much fun watching your happy little sidekick, Benjamin, grow and being entertained by his playful personality!! Kudos to you and Aaron!
I finally bought my first edger this last spring. It made such a difference in how my front beds look, I just need to continue around all the others! A little at a time I suppose…but watching you get after that stretch makes me feel like I need to get it done!
Really enjoying watching south garden(?) come together. The lawn is beautiful! I can't wait to get up, get my coffee and see the progress every morning. 😁 I wish I could grow your grass. Here in central Texas we have grass that puts out runners. I'd love to not to have to put some kind of boarders out to keep the grass out of my flower beds.
Hi Laura and Aaron, just wanted to say I’m so amazed at how gorgeous you guys are making this area look so fast! You guys truly inspire me everyday and I really look forward to watching your videos everyday. My kiddos and I planted our first small “crop” of sunflowers, pumpkins and corn this year and to see the excitement in their faces when they seen that they were actually coming up ugh 🥺 priceless ❤️ All thanks to you, your motivation, your way of seeing life and your positive attitude. Can’t wait to see what else we can grow next year. Thank you!
Oh my goodness! So much work! And it looks AMAZING! This is inspiring to get my small yard edged. If she can do all that grass, I can do my little yard 😆😉❤
The grass pathway looks great! I will miss the mulch around the garden-I like the dark brown color contrast to separate it. Edging is hard work-you are a machine.😊
I love the edging videos. It’s one of my favorite garden chores in my tiny garden, and so satisfying to watch happen on a larger scale in yours! I love the shape the south garden is taking!
As I was watching this morning's video, I was reminded that God planted a garden and placed his creation, man in the garden to dress and keep it. I have been watching your videos for about two years now and even though I am not physically able to garden like I once did, it is immensely satisfying to see your gardens come together. Your little sidekick is an extra added bonus. Your precious family is so blessed.
Thank you Laura the grass paths look great! A tip for Aaron. .. The word etiquette is derived from the French word meaning ticket or sign of warning. It started in the garden of Versailles to stop people from trampling the garden and grass that the kings gardener worked so hard on. Maybe try some signs
Hi again Laura and Aaron, I meant to ask on my last comment if you would consider showing a bit more on how you cut things back for the winter as well as pruning in the late winter/early spring. I know you've shown us some things in the past, its just I'm a little hesitant about cutting back perennials mostly as well as some shrubs/trees. thank you for all you do! xoxo
The new land project is starting to take shape and its beginning to look spectacular. Laura never ceased to amaze us with the amount of hard work she puts in, and even harder when you have to document it on camera, let alone a husband and two kids to take care of. Amazing true gardener. 👍🙏🙏⚘
Everything is looking AMAZING!! It's so fun watching you create all of this "from scratch." No one else has had their touch in any of the beds, it's yours from the start! I mean, it's fun watching you transform beds that already have something, but I love seeing you get to do it your way from the start and seeing everything come together and change ❤️
My 91 year old mother and I watch your videos together every morning. We're always happy to see Benjamin. My mother calls him her favorite gardener.
Who else is so excited to see how everything is coming together? 😊
Who else wishes their land could be worked that easy? I’m pretty sure we grow rocks in my area 🤣
I am also excited to watch the transition of this.
I am!! It so exciting to watch all the growth and changes!!!😊
I'm always excited to see what Laura and Aaron have planned...!!!!
Also going back a year + and watching the transformation it's incredible and very inspiring

Thank you!
When the lines started to show I got excited !!!!!
I love love the line edges on the lawn.
With all that you do you will never need to go to the gym. Everything look soooooo good. I think grass over mulch was a good idea, it looks so lush.
New viewer here so wondered if Laura has said if they are on city/county water or do they have a well?
Great job Laura! Benjamin wanted to help you with the shoveling so bad. What a sweet guy, he needs a little shovel his size. 😀👍
Looks fantastic! The green is so vibrant. I hope there will be a video when Aaron does the Lawn Weed Brew I think I’d like to try that next year.
What’s your favorite flower?
Maybe try some signs
it helps to have an unlimited garden budget
Hi again Laura and Aaron, I meant to ask on my last comment if you would consider showing a bit more on how you cut things back for the winter as well as pruning in the late winter/early spring. I know you've shown us some things in the past, its just I'm a little hesitant about cutting back perennials mostly as well as some shrubs/trees. thank you for all you do! xoxo
Laura, you are one hardworking woman‼ The South garden is going to be amazing 👏 Love from Marsha in Huntsville Alabama. ❤
You are doing such an amazing job on all this. You have so much energy💃💃💃
Holy Moly! WOWZA! What a fantastic change for the better. Great gardening
