Looks like you have a braid to mono splice there. Is that so the line is less visible to the fish?

the rod ur using is it the savage gear sgs2? if it is whats ur opinion on it,i have the 10-40g ,290cm, its the best rod i ever bought its only a month old cuz i snapped the tip off my abu 8ft with a small coley

To be honest bud I don't have a lot of experience at lure fishing or using lure rods.. Yes its the SGS2 but 15 - 50g I also have aMPP2 10 - 40g which I like but its a bit short at 7'1... My Lure fishing guru thinks the SGS2 might be a bit heavy for what I do and he uses an SGS2 rated to 30g I think, which seems a lot more whippy in the tip and seems to propel the lighter lures a good distance..
