Paignton born & bred growing old disgracefully.
Love being by the sea, looking after the wellbeing.
Started making "Wort's & all" videos to share with my Son who lives in Canada.
But then after watching others on the platform, thought what the heck lets have some fun.
Did a lot of shore fishing in the late 90's before life got in the way.
Now with a bit more time and know one to stop me I’m getting out there again.
With limited funds, cheap rods and gear to start, we will see how we go.
Big fan of catch & release. Not looking for a specimen but if one fancy's my bait great.
Any fish will do just happy to be out, and maybe take one for my tea.
Every days a school day. And the only constant in life is change.
Hope you like what I share.
So far.. Can't cast, can’t tie knots, can't catch…don't know why I bother.
But it is still lovely just being out there.

the rod ur using is it the savage gear sgs2? if it is whats ur opinion on it,i have the 10-40g ,290cm, its the best rod i ever bought its only a month old cuz i snapped the tip off my abu 8ft with a small coley
To be honest bud I don't have a lot of experience at lure fishing or using lure rods.. Yes its the SGS2 but 15 - 50g I also have aMPP2 10 - 40g which I like but its a bit short at 7'1... My Lure fishing guru thinks the SGS2 might be a bit heavy for what I do and he uses an SGS2 rated to 30g I think, which seems a lot more whippy in the tip and seems to propel the lighter lures a good distance.. Looks like you have a braid to mono splice there. Is that so the line is less visible to the fish?

Thank you for the kind words. Glad you liked it. Yes it was a prolific place back in the day, but sadly not so much now. Still popular and with easy access so I would wait a few weeks until the Holiday makers have winged their way home. Last Monday. I arrived just before dark to find 16 "groups" on anglers on the prom.. So be warned.. needless to say I went elsewhere 😛 Here is a link to an older video shot on my old phone sorry for the quality. Hi thank you for the message.. In short no mate.. Im out all the time and fish are thin on the ground.. I did hear that some schooly's were being caught around the harbour last week. But not heard of anything nice for a while... Sorry bud... Hollicombe beach was always good in earlier years, but a bit later in the year.

Hi Jack. I was lucky to find a place on Berryhead rd about 100 yards past the entrance to the breakwater car park. But it was 4.30am. There is the car park. But it is £4.50 for 4 hrs I believe.. Hope that helps.
