Very nice example of the famous Ramirez 1a concert guitar. 2nd owner. A little thinner neck than later Ramirez 1a guitars. Therefore excellent playbility also for smaller hands. Nearly mint condition. Very nice Ramirez sound. An instrument for the ambitious player and professionals. Gorgeous concert sound. Built during the golden Ramirez years in 1971, No. 5233. I have a 1971 Ramirez 1a #4711 stamped MT Yes, thin neck. Ramirez was increasing production then. Who was this Luthier? A recent offer on Reverb is #4710

I don't know the luthier. Ramirez unfortunately didn’t answer my inquiry. The orginal owner said it was José Ramirez III himself. I have no idea whether he was still active in the workshop from time to time an finished guitars.
