- To this day I still find this boss hilarious, and fortunately his first form goes down pretty quick. You can move the platform up and down! Yeah like that helps.. it moves way too slow even on normal. The only ways to actually dodge is Ninpo, ET/UT, and XY. He doesn't seem to be able to hit you if you just jump off the platform yourself. That part would be an absolute nightmare on the higher difficulties if it wasn't so easy to just facetank with Gleaming Blade.
I guess you don't attack the big skull head on the 2nd phase.. Getting grabbed or knocked into lava isn't fun but if you kept a lot of arrows and Ki that fight should be simple enough. - Ігри

His skull demon form looks a bit sillier in this compared to Sigma, with his horns looking more like giant eyebrows.

I remember my dad was playing this game when I was little and it was funny because he was trying to beat this boss while staying on that rock but there'd be a lot of times when he'd fallen off that rock and he would get so mad every time he'd fall off that rock to where he got up saying "F*** this game!!" Threw the controller down and shut the PS2 off xD

Yeah it makes no sense. Does that thing engage in the day-to-day bureaucracy of the state, or deal with more high-level matters? Do his ministers have to take a long trek through the meadow to talk to him?
I think this form is what the emperor became after holding onto the Dark Dragon, because there is an instance of him being described as a tall, aged man with long white hair, but he likely secluded himself after getting the sword in order to absorb its power. And it is stated in-game that the sword transforms anyone evil enough to wield it into the devil incarnate. The emperor likely had some massive plans for that power, while Murai likely just wanted the power, since all we got from him was a fiend transformation.
As for how he handles political matters in this form, such matters likely didn't need to be addressed in the four days he had the sword.
What I find weird though is that the emperor is never addressed by name. As far as we know, he has no name to speak of.

To fight the first form, you can easily defeat him with the gleaming blade UT. Dodging lasers should be a piece of cake once you know his patterns
Second form can be cheased easily with lvL2 Inazuma, while scorewise it grants a huge bonus.

Tbh this boss is easy just use the special move he can’t hit u when u do it then when 2nd forms shoot the big head with explosive arrows literally bit both in in a total of 2 mins
