Brittany! You should give us more of a life update, like did you get your own place? Are you in a long distance relationship still? Is life after dental school less stressful? I've been watching you since your D1 year when I was in undergrad and I'm a D2 now :). I'm so happy to see you as a practicing dentist! Best of luck!
Took my law and ethics in July 16, 2023. Emailed them to clear my deficiency on CaBreeze and had my application sent to be finalized. Finally licensed in Ca on Aug 10, what a wait.
oooh girl if this video was available before we graduated, it would be GOLD. Good job Britbritttt, proud of you! Proud of the both of us for getting this far
Thank you so much for making this video! I just finished dental school and I'm applying for licensure now. Sitting here and waiting for everything to be processed is killing me, haha.
Did you send in the license application and the law/ethics application at the same time? or do I send in the license application after taking the law/ethics exam?
I hope this is not too personal but if it is you can just place a heart or dot as a comment but. Is your take home pay over 5000 because I’m not sure if I wan to do all this schooling to make 1200 a month
That is a very personal question. You can just google and find out how much a dentist makes per year. She is probably making less than the average dentist because she just started her career. If I were to ballpark for all new dentists, I would say they are all making roughly $7,000 - $10000 per month. Of course, they have taxes, loans, and stuff to pay so they could be around $5,000 or less per month I suppose. The amount of money she makes also depends on what state she lives in. I want to be a Dentist, and worrying about loans made me almost want to not be a dentist, but I decided to not care about the loans anymore because I truly love Dentistry, so I am willing to put in the work to work in a career that I truly enjoy for the rest of my life. If you love dentistry, I say go for it, be happy, we only live one life. I wish you the best of luck with whatever career you choose. I will be applying to dental school next year in June.

Haha! Technically I can commit a crime, but I would probably get caught if my fingerprints were found as evidence.
