Enjoyed this! Your first job sounds great! I did not have the luxury of working for someone so understanding of my speed. But that’s how I got faster (I did a GPR though). Push yourself to pick up the speed. My associate does her crowns in 2 hours and honestly that is a little too long.. the patient is exhausted by the end. I’m glad you are learning to rely on yourself. The owner will always be there to bail you out. And yes a good assistant is clutch. I’ve had my fair share of good and bad assistants and the good ones are gold. Can’t live without them.

I am going to the senior year of high school in Mexico and I really want to study dentistry in the United States next year but I have seen that unlike in Mexico in the United States you do not enter after high school to dental school. You have to do a pre dental school. Help me please explain to me what to do after high school ? What it’s the pre dental school ? and more information about this ? how long it lasts ?in which school you did it.? And how to do the application ? Believe it or not you will run into a lot of patients that will refer to you by your first name. Every practice I have ever worked at there is always a few patients that do this. The doctors never cared though.
