I only have an hour left of the demo and I’m going to be so sad when it’s over! I’ve fallen in love with this story and can’t wait for the release!
It's per save slot. You can start a new game as many times as you like. After you walk through each character's prologue, you should speed run to get a party of four and see if you can tackle one of the "dungeons"

AtomicEmrys clarification: you can restart the game as many times as you like. Yes, you only have one save slot.
That may be true, but only one save file can be transferred. They could theoretically play all 8 prologues with different files, but they'd have to replay the others when the full game is released.
Cool fact. You can have individual save files just use different accounts on your switch. Different users
3 weeks and 3 days left to go! i cant believe we're almost there. ive been hyped for this game since January 12, 2017 since this game was first shown off. man.. that day felt like yesterday. time flies by so fast :')

I've preordered 2 Wayfarer's Editions. One to leave sealed and the other to open up, use and display. Got my spot ready for the pup up book also. Gonna be great!

Lol, Exactly. THE SAME Exact thing happen to be , Literally like 32 minutes ago! I was Power leveling then BAM, I got that 3 hour End Game message. I was So Mad.

I understand that. I was enjoying grinding... I grind...a LOT.
To have my grinding process halted like that was a total bummer. (the 1st demo I grinded till I hit the cap of level 15).
BlackStarVega I also feel that grinding has been giving me a good understanding of which characters work well together, and who I prefer on a team more.
Exactly. Not to mention you get Invested in the character and his/her skills and the story and the Background scenes (which are so beautiful!) ...

I played as Cyrus for the 1st time on this demo (1st time playing This Demo)..... i was power leveling..and then BAM.... Got that "thank you for playing the game, your time is up etc etc...."... As a Power Leveler, I never been more Insulted !! GRRR!!

I believe japanese audio is supported. It's all in the options in the demo version
I know demo supports both japanese and english audio and english, japanese, french, spanish, italian, deutsch for text but pre-order for NA switch eshop only supports english, spanish, french (or at least that's what it says there) whereas japanese pre-order octo language support is the same as demo version.
NA pre-order doesn't state whether japanese audio is also supported or not.
I prefer to play jrpg in english but with japanese audio so I was just curious.

I find it unusual to have an modern complete game without DLC at all.

My only worry with this game is that the 8 characters won't interact with eachother much and the story will only involve the person whose quest it is and no-one else from your party.
For all of us old gamers fans of Yasumi Matsuno, worshipers of Final Fantasy Tactics, Dragon Quest Monsters, Chrono Trigger, FFVI & FFVII, Vagrant Story and so, this one is going to heaven!

Could someone explain what each stat does. He mentioned speed and Im curious what that means.
Speed influences turn order to some degree, though there is some randomness still to the order in which different constants move.

It reads Japanese only. If you want to learn, you can check out TheAnimeMan. While he does primarily focus on anime, he also has a series where he discusses some places you can learn. There is also That Japanese Man Yuta. While he focuses on issues and other interesting things about Japan, he also has a course that you can take to help you. There are a lot of resources out there to help. I wish you the best of luck!

fair enough. I'm in the same boat I want to stick through with one character and gradually get the others in the main game. It would feel weird to play through chapter 1 of everyone's story in the demo

Here's a good story for when I started off the demo on my alt profile. Chose primrose to begin with and yada yada later after I can leave the town I get "surprised" by a light wisp as my first enemy which proceeds to attack me twice with each attack doing over 100 damage and 2 shorting me. Instant game over and the game just begun lol.
My internet is slow so the thumbnail didn’t load fast...i thought this was related to splatoon...

so annoying to have to equip the sword eveytime it is my characters turn.. even though i've alredy equipped it earlier in the fight... it always revert back to the dagger for some reason :(
Nintendo you guys have to add a system trophy or an achievement to your switch trust me a lot of people will then start buying all their 3rd party games on your console instead of the other including myself it's time to make a change and start following some trends .Let's get those stocks back up !!
