My family house had a big skylight in the bathroom above the bathtub, it was on the third floor and it was so nice taking a bath and looking at the skies or watching and listening the rain, it was so relaxing 😌

I was today years old when I found out you can use the alt key on the roof...
When I first looked at the house you needed to build I honestly kinda hated it. I thought it looked very strange and I just didn't like it... But when u built in sims, I have no clue what u did and how, but you made the house look so much better!

Does anybody know why Deli stopped the S.I.M.S LP?
For Deli:
*THE ULTIMATE SIMS BUILD CHALLENGE*
Rules: You must build a house for 8 sims, it can not end up looking like a box (or rectangle) and must include at least one toddler room, one child room, and one teen oriented room (use your imagination as to what that entails as far as decorations and uses are concerned). Each of those *must* be separate rooms. Your build has a total budget of $100,000-$300,000 simoleons (it must cost a minimum of $100,00 but cannot exceed $300,000) This does not include the cost of the lot which can be over budget if desired (as in the build ends up being $300,000 but the lot puts it closer to say $320,000 or something).
Before starting the build, you must decide which packs you will use. You are allowed to use the base game and ONE expansion pack, ONE game pack, and TWO stuff packs. All of which must be chosen through a random generator.
For each room you must spin a wheel to determine what colour to use. You may only use that colour for the entirety of the room (with the exception of bathroom or kitchen material that do not exist in said colour at which point you may use the colour you feel is closest. And doors/windows may be of normal colour and are excluded from the rules of the colour portion of this challenge). You may *not* use the colours White, Black, or Brown on the inside of the house (except as mentioned above; doors and windows).
When the colour is chosen every item in that room must be made either entirely by or the majority of it is that specific colour.
**If you end up using the laundry day pack you must include a laundry room and out door wash bucket and clothes line
**If using seasons you must include a garden, fireplace, and thermostat
**If using vampires, at least one coffin must be included and the build must have a basement or attic it can be placed in
**If using island living you must place the build by a body of water
**If using cats and dogs the build must be pet friendly and include items for both cats and dogs (if drawn you can build a house for six sims instead of eight)
**If using movie hangout a space must be allotted for an indoor or outdoor movie theatre with a screen and enough chairs for the sims living in the house (so 8)
No custom content and you have to have a bin in the kitchen as well (don’t forget the bin).
Hope you see this, I think this could be really fun while simultaneously challenging!!
Sarah Werth Does you know know how to rotate items on a more specific angle instead of the default rotation. For example in the living room whilst placing the small chair deli did it on a much smaller angle than just making it face left. Thank a lot! Xx

I was imagining a really super lanky sim cooking in there, reaching their double length arms up effortlessly to grab a bowl from the top shelf of the cabinet

I love how effortlessly you build! I've never been the "builder type" when playing the sims but still watching your builds is very fun and relaxing!

Ok, I'm counting this as the H build.
In my old house, we had a small skylight in the bedroom I shared with my brother. One day, my cat climbed on the roof and sat on the skylight; SO WE COULD SEE HIS BUTTHOLE. It was so funny.
OMG we have skylights in our kitchen and my cat got on the roof and we just watched her chill.

the one bit of mismatched pattern that bled through from the study will forever haunt me in my dreams. its such a nice build! i always forget about the alt key and im like ''how do they do this witchcraft''

I have both versions and (to me atleast) its ridiculously hard to build in the console version.
Porcelain Pig I find it harder to build on the PC but I've been playing the Sims on console since I got it so that might be why 😅😂

It's gotten way easier since they added keyboard and mouse compatibility! That's all I play with now on console. Can't go back to the hard controls 🤣🤣

For real, I tried to build my childhood home and I had to try to scale things up and down so they'd fit right but then they were too big or small and don't even get me started on the colour swatches smh
When I build from floor plans I usually use the scale of 1 block = 3 feet, 3 blocks = 1 metre. It's not exact but it's pretty close.
Everyone is inside miserable because of the virus.

The house is really lovely (the office with big windows overlooking the plants outside is my favorite 😍✨) and I also enjoyed the lighting in this video very much, so relaxing 😊

I have been working on a dogtrot style home since January and having a hard time figuring out how I want to furnish it more than normal, and then deli comes along and does this in, what, like 2 or 3 hours real time probably?

Those debug paintings are life! They are among my favourite paintings/pictures in the entire game! The ones that came with Island Living are awesome as well! (I know this is base game only, but just as a tip for anyone reading this.)

im sooo in loce with this build oml! But tbh this reminded me of how much i HATE the base game furniture and wall colors (paneling) like even when you chose the lot you’d rebuild there were so many of them matching with packs like get together, realm of magic and so on. Like you can be WAY more creative with those packs and I never really realize how much I actually appreciate packs 😂 anyways thank you so much for being such an amazing builder and youtuber!😊💗

I actually built the one that is kinda Tudor w/ the fireplace in front in the Sims. I was so proud of myself getting the roof right haha I made it like a cozy witchy kinda place with a huge garden all around. I think I built it in Brindleton Bay though out in the upper left right area.

I don't know if this is asking too much, but maybe whenever you're building things that you say are for console players, if you know them, could you mention what buttons we would press rather than computer keys? Like how you kept saying that you were pressing the ALT key, but obviously we don't have that because we have controllers. It's completely fine if you can't because I assume because you play on the computer, you don't know them, but that would just be super helpful for me because even though I've been building on console for years, there are still some things that I don't know how to do and that would be super helpful for me. Thanks!
