Great job Vince the vines will love that to climb on. Gem remove all the grapes for the next couple years and let that energy go into its frame work. Great video see you both at Malvern
Hi Gem 🤗 Wow grapes already, that's amazing! 😍 Well done Vince, you did a great job with that piping. Good job on the cardboard Gem. Can't wait to see the grapes growing up and along the piping. Have a great week both ❤️
Our best strawberry in South Texas is Seascape. As soon as Vince opened the plumbers glue, I could smell it through the screen. My Dad was a plumber and that was my favorite my weird smell as a kid. 😂
I'm really excited too ☺️ I also planted one in my garden and that only has a few leaves, no sign of any grapes....so I think it will do really well in the polytunnel 🤞 Thank You for watching 😊
My grapevine is outside - in tropical Yorkshire - so never really had grapes but only just started trying to train it (instead of letting it go berserk all over the outdoor [unused] privies😂). Great work Vince
Finally catching up on Ross's Creator calls and really enjoyed your episode Gem 😊 I'm certainly no gardener but my wife is so you have some new subs here👍 regardless of my lack of green talent I found this video very interesting. Look forwards to watching more from you. Take care.
@@GemInTheGarden Thanks Gem 😊 I'm a bit behind on my new video at the moment but hopefully I can finish the edit over the weekend and get to out some time next week. Have a great bank holiday.
Thank You Claire ☺️ Having a Grapevine in the middle gave me some limitations.....didn't really think that through! But I'm happy with how it turned out 👌
Cardboard seem to be the secret ( well not so secret) stuff to use in the garden , another gardener was using it in the compost heap, lots under no dig raised beds, its all new ideas to me 🙂
Hi Gemma I love alpine strawberries I grow them along a strip near a hedge row on my plot. They are completely different they taste very delicate almost perfume, really pretty in cocktails they can be invasive but they’re very easy to pull up if you don’t want them but a small patch in a shady area will give nice ground cover and you get them a lot earlier than other strawberries on the plot they are tiny 😍😍
i gem i totally forgot , my grape vine got dug up buy a cat , how is yours getting on , i guess il try again next winter , but excited to see your progress
I'm attempting to grow cucumbers this year but didn't realise they need a frame to grow up 😂 What could i use as a frame? Sticks or would you recommend something stronger? x👩🏻🌾

Hi John 👋 yes cardboard is great 👍 it stops the weeds then breaks down so saves a lot of work! 😃😃

Grow from seed really easy
Oh really I will see if I can get some, Thanks 😊

Oh thats a shame! How frustrating 😤 mine is doing really well Thank You, I'm looking forward to training it this year 😀
I'm attempting to grow cucumbers this year but didn't realise they need a frame to grow up 😂 What could i use as a frame? Sticks or would you recommend something stronger? x👩🏻🌾
You could use a trellis or even plant them with some string for them to grow up....just tie the top of the string on to the top of the fence 👌
what the thing u using to cut the pipes?
Hi Pauline, it's called a pipe slice or OX polyzip 😃
looks like its a " manual PLASTIC PIPE CUTTER " if you google that you will find them , the likes of screwfix / toolstation and b and q sell them
