Bro you were born to teach! Something about the way you explain things just makes it so much more comprehensive! Thank you for all you do and know that you're helping soooo many people!
+Tom de Sok YEEEE HAHAHAHA i didnt know that for almost 10 years of FL producing ! hahaha i've been doing all kind of stupid stuff instead of just that little click hahaha
Like many have said before me, After making beats for a certain amount of time you think your pretty good, however there is a standstill, almost like a creative block. Watching these tutorials has improved my producing skills in all ways, and brought the creativity and drive back that i have been longing, THANKS BRO!!!
I def agree with the other posts. Ive watched a hundred videos on here but yours are by far the best. Easy to follow and understand. I really like how you use alot of shortcuts or "ctrl" functions. I had no idea about those lol. thanks again and keep them coming.
You guys are the best! Absolutely flawless tutorials and podcasts. Love your voice man, it's not boring to listen to like some others out there. Saw a comment about it sounding like Jon Bones Jones haha. Keep it up. You are appreciated.
i learned more from this one specified tutorial than from all the beginner starting tutorials for FL. great in basic how-to on the program, plus the theory in making stuff sound good!
All this can be discovered by playing in this program, its awfully easy too understand this, its not hard at all too use but i do love making unusual sounding 808 patterns
Thanks im in you do good work bc you im using flstudio again got it setup wit my mackie mcu pro mixer and roland x6 and mashine when im using battery 4
I love your tutorials. You explain everything very well. Teaching comes natural to you it seems. I am attending a school right now for sound engineering/producing and I wish the teacher would teach the way you do. One thing I don't understand; @04:55 You say you are gonna bring the 808 down one octave, but you put it from a4 to a5, and octave 5 is higher than 4 right? At least in piano roll it is.
hey busyworksbeats, your i great teacher! i purchased the 808 science few days ago, it's nice you put a workbook in there. now i need some 808 drums, is there a sound pack you would recommend me ? -LivingRoomProduction
Thank You for the video's and I learn a lot. I am able to do a lot more than before. I am a musician, but learn some new things by watching your videos. My Cousin is the one who inspire me to use FL Studio so I give him prop's. I wanted to know will you or are you going to do anymore video's on drill music ? There is so many artist I want to work with in that genre that I re-thinking my approach to trap music. You have any advice for up coming producers?
great vids btw man. so some of these packs i downloaded for free like the dj mustard one. has nice 808s but the base draws on for way linger then the designated bar i set how do you adjust the level of these things because i have not a clue.
2:33 You said "The 808 sample regions says that its playing on A. I'm confused because theres more markers behind the A marker. It could be another letter. I'm a little confused about that.
can u do a tutorial on like wav sounds like i have a trap bell as a wav but it stuck in 1 note like when i play E on my keyboard or any other note it still sound like it comes from C
how can i make the 808 sound much longer. you know like keep it going, mine just stops in like 2 seconds after it kicks. idk how to explain it in any better way, hope u understand anyway, would appreciate an answer. ur vids are great and i've learned alot from em.
when i go to slide the 808 up like you do to change the notation it doesnt make a sound i even muted the kick to hear it, its just silence unless its on the main note
Hi, great video! Thank you a lot! I have a noobie question, im just starting my way into FL Studio and i was trying to do a simple kick and bass beat, but when i get the kick and bass together in the playlist they are not as agressive when alone, how can i fix this? Maybe it's the frequences messing up each other? Can you give me some tips? Thank you again!
+Guilherme Gubert Yes, similar bass frequencies can cause phase issues which make the sounds less impactful. Here's a video on how to avoid that issue: www.busyworksbeats.com/how-to-mix-kicks-with-808s/ If you would like to learn more about mixing, you can start here: busyworksbeats.com/mixingacademy
Hey what's up? I have a question. I use reason to make beats and I'm going to start mix my beats on fl studio. The quality of the instrumentals will be the same when I put on mixer of fl studio?
I have the problem that when I detect the pitch regions on most 808s it gives me something like G#2 but when I put that as root note, I get the notes pitched up very high and not the sound you're having. Can someone help me with this? Much appreciated.
Bro you were born to teach! Something about the way you explain things just makes it so much more comprehensive! Thank you for all you do and know that you're helping soooo many people!
Facts….soo resourceful! I learn a lot from these guy…keep ‘em comin brother
The tip on 2:01 saved my whole life THANK YOU SO MUCH
+Tom de kok yea its a pain when its looping... you can also go in and limit the max polyphony to 1 and it does the same thing.
Mr. Dano Hahah good to hear! Kinda funny how many people just never hear that right? Something so small, but so importent.
+Tom de Sok the leveling against the 808 and kick helped me
+Tom de Sok YEEEE HAHAHAHA i didnt know that for almost 10 years of FL producing ! hahaha i've been doing all kind of stupid stuff instead of just that little click hahaha
codemiesterbeats you could do that yeah, unless you wanted bass harmonics via piano roll.
