These ideas are better than what we have but I think it's not different enough from NGS augment system. I think overtime it would feel like an extra augment slot that can only use that 1 specific type of augment called "fixa" S-grade augments were kinda like that in base but stuff they added to the gear was what made em special. I think if we just gonna turn fixas into augments we gotta rework them all to be impactful stuff like how S-grade augments were in order to make em feel like they are their own separate thing.
Glad to see a couple of the suggestions I made on your community tab made it in here. I agree 100% though. Something has to change. Neos STILL feels so bad.
In the 3 weeks since I last commented, I went from having a Fully Augmented (deftra and Halph), but no fixia Rifle/Launcher - then got a fatale 2 Launcher. And had to do it all again. Felt REAL bad. I almost quit
So, crafting fixas is similar to the grinding fixas idea I had. Basically each weapon has a fixa exp bar that raises as you grind other weapons with a fixa into them. There is a bit more to it then that, but the main problem is we're coming up against the whole reason they probably added Fixas: To add rarity back into the game without making the best weapons too difficult to obtain. See 14* weapons during Ep5 in JP. Only a few had the really shiny weapons. They were hoping that Fixas would let the players all have the next new weapon while letting them make a few still unique. They don't understand that Fixa 5s just became the new BiS. The color variants were a better idea, except no one really cares about them due to weapon camo. Maybe they should go back to just having affixes drop on weapons, and get rid of Fixas.
There are aspects of this I don't quite agree with but I like the sentiment. I know some weapons can't be sold but I'm ignoring those weapons when I talk about this. For a lot of free-to-play players, a good fixa on a weapon is something to be sold and profited off of. Making them too common will decrease their value. I think a slightly better hybrid solution is allowing fixa 1-2 to be bought as a weapon upgrade for every weapon. Getting it this way is more expensive on average. You will also need the actual weapon to do it.
Augment and Fixa have same purpose. So my Idea is get rid of fixa, add additional augment slot, and add new variety of augment ( - PP, crit chance, crit pot, etc ). But probably this wont happen
Fixa transferable within the same gear series(I.E Neos to Neos) is what I was talking about with a friend instead of what it currently is on fixas needing to be changed, in the June update I can most definitely see this being the change to fixas if that happens, or maybe a mix of craftable fixas and same gear series fixa transfer. I'm surprised this is being talked about now as opposed to earlier in the game but since at the time you can get BiS from the market it was whatever I guess, but, now BiS weapons are tied behind exchanging like the Neos, and Kaizaar, it pretty much eliminates having to just market your gear everytime. Better late than never I suppose, all in all, the current fixa system is why I avoided it since when I do get a fixa, 99% of the time it's on a weapon that I have no intention on using like a Talis or Launcher. If they ain't Wired Lance, Katana, Soaring Blades, and soon Gunblade, I'm not going to give much of a shit about it.

Welcome back, HW, and happy birthday! When it comes to RNG drops, I've always been a big advocate for a pity system. The fixa crafting system would be just that. Not only would it introduce a pity back up for fixas, but it can be built upon the current fixa transfer system. If you get lucky and get the fixa you want for the weapon you use, then transferring can be the least time and resource consuming method. It would keep wanting to go for that fixa weapon drop appealing. Meanwhile accumulating fixa material, whether that be capsules or some other resource, from other fixa drops that are not on your wanted weapon would let you build the fixa you want over time. It would also change the market. Instead of just making meseta via scratch items and augment capsules, this market would not get old. There would always be a demand for them when new gear is on the horizon.
i think rhia fixa should be kind of an special "affix" like any other one in game but farmable and traable. so u wont be stuck for 0.000001% of EVERYSINGLE EACH LITTLE WEAPON/UNIT in game. just like the gem systema in blade and soul or the cristal bind of tera. it would be so much better.
Also weeks later after you get fixa, maxed out, augmented gear it’s obsolete. This little min maxing costs aren’t worth it. This is why I am more impressed when I see a good budget build. Totally agree this would fix a lot of problems.
i wish SEGA implement that duplicate system for fixa upgrade, this will solve the fixa problem and also make those duplicate more valuable in market. Thanks and good video as always.
Nice vid Hestia : ) It is cool you tried to turn around every single option that could fix the fixa thing. Here's my idea: why not just add Fixa to stuff, but use class EX-Cube? Example: A Hunter Sword would require Hunter Cubes, EX-CUBEs, plus 1 (Increases as you level it up) CUBE of THAT WEAPON DAMAGE TYPE, so a weapon that uses Melee Damage. Armor works the same but instead of a Base Weapon its broken off by Class Type, so using Ex-Cubes, BUT now using a certain class Cube would do something. for Example, using Hunter Cubes, will give the armor Fixa Guard since Hunter are Tanky, Tetcher's gives it a Fixa Natural etc. and all info will be labeled on the Cubes themselves.

It's easy.....just make fixas be upgradable with certain materials that doesn't use.....like photon scales for upgrading fixas or making one......or even use N ex cubes as it's so plentiful to get n ex cubes everywhere but not be used........
I do wish some of the ways here can be implemented, however most of the time, the whole gearing system is just all way too simple for people to care about min-maxing when the content can be easily done even with non-meta sets. Unfortunately the Battle Power system is definitely something they should fix in such a way that weaker augments or just augments that weapons under 7star shouldn't have enough BP to even join PUGs and decrease everyone's DPS or Increasing the clear times.
I think the crafting would work except ppl are just gonna hoard all the old gear and would once again cause the problem of people not playing the game. Instead, i propose the following: The fixa fragments would be rarity exclusive. For example, I have a neos weapon with fixa termina 2. I disassemble it and get myself x amount of termina fragments(8*). I can then exchange them for a termina 3 fixa with enough frags, or for an even higher cost, fatale or attack. This will make sure people still play the game, and people would have to actively farm the latest rarity to get the fixa they want.
Honestly as someone who never truly understood the gear system in PSO2 Fixas seem like a unnecessary addition feature I really attempt to deck out my gear to be as close as it possibly can to being the best, but I only buy my gear I don’t farm for gear in NGS I’d rather just buy it than waste hours of farming to get a weapon a subpar weapon. I buy all my augments and even weapons with LVL 3 or higher within a reasonable price I’d never spend 6 million or higher on a weapon because it’ll just be eventually horribly outclassed in the near future
Fixa is like "Rare" drops... It doesn't exist. lol But given Multiweapon. You can equip a Fixa 5 Crit Rate Bow on a Katana. Provided, that RNG gives you at least two weapons within one Class, damage type is the same, or weapons that you intend to use. Although, for Fixa Transfers. Maybe keep it in the same Name/Series instead of a universal transfer system. Or lock it based on Star Rarity. Otherwise, a universal Fixa Transfer only needs the most common weapon or unit + RNG = Buy a lv1 weapon with Fixa 5. Leveling up Fixas up to 5+ is interesting, despite the content not needing that much Damage right now... Depending on how Sega wish design it... Personally, the traditional idea is Fixa Synthesis which requires two lv1 Fixas under the same Name or Series in order to either (1) level up to Fixa 2 or (2) to be used as Material for a new Fixa below or equal to the Material Level Fixa 1 Category. As for obtaining a Fixa Weapon? The usual farming, rewards, and craft shop is fine (such as the infernium material for Fixa 3 weapons). But maybe a Fixa Target Capsule would be nice. It can be either (1) come from dismantled weapons with Fixas for Fixa Material Crafts or (2) obtained from a Trail as rare as Captains and Rappy King etc. At least for how Fixas are treated right now. It's just another Aug at the moment. Although, I prefer if Fixas were completely overhauled for a Fixa Drive mechanic. It's like a meter that you build up during combat. Then, depending on the unique Fixa and Fixa Level. It will apply special effects to the weapon and/or Units. For weapons, the Fixa Drive is far distinct compared to the Unit Fixas. For Units/Armor, having multiple Fixa Drives under the same Name or Series will apply Set Bonuses or make the Drive Meter Burn much slower than having 3 different Unit Fixas. To this extent... Special Augments are designed to take advantage of the Fixa Drive. But every Arks Defender must manage both the Drive Meter and their Class Photon Arts in tandem in order to execute the best result. And who knows... Maybe, outside of Class specifics, Drive Forms from both Weapons and Units can be possible. The player market won't change by much, long term, if Fixa Transfer isn't universal. At the rate that NGS content is being released. Maybe waiting on Star Rarity Fixa Transfers is for the best. But certainly, crafting or obtaining Fixa Target Capsules/Tickets is a good option rather than pure RNG on top of itself.
Non tradable weapons should not exist , I hope SEGA don't keep making equipment this way. Also color variants should be transferable too as there's nothing more frustrating than having a cooler red Neos variant drop way after I worked on a normal Neos.

the fixa thing is for players that wanna flex or feel the need to keep playing a game that DOESNT respect their time. the game right now has NOTHING in content for the fixas to be of any use.. then again we have players that got suckered in to getting fixas and now they want to tell you that fixa is great. i believe the "fixa" is meant for SEGA to keep players playing the same walmart(Aegis UQ) content in hopes of getting it. there are players still till this day that did not get any fixas on their main weapon only RELIKS?SECHETYLS KEK.... others got a +3 fatale on a weapon they never used and rerolled just to flex .....pretty stupid system sega has here. its just a marketing for FOMO players to keep doing something they dont want to do and still get spat on their faces after having over 180% RDR and get nothing.. i could care less i just think its comical for players to go out of their way to tell me how "important" fixas are while i laugh internally why i keep reminding myself there is ZERO content to use them on EFFECTIVLY. it is what it is tho. HESTIA all your suggestion are great but will SEGA listen is the biggest PROBLEM, we will see. we all know SEGA's true endgame is called "WALLET TO AC SCRATCHES"..

Why patch stia i become incredible rich
(1.9b n meseta both server jp and gb)
Its just flex damage. You said it.. you dont need them to clear content. The gatcha system is a part of the core gameplay. This is an odd take that makes gatcha free further limiting our content. Sorry but idk. Crafting is meeeh.. i dont want more time sink that isn't content.
the fixa thing is for players that wanna flex or feel the need to keep playing a game that DOESNT respect their time. the game right now has NOTHING in content for the fixas to be of any use.. then again we have players that got suckered in to getting fixas and now they want to tell you that fixa is great. i believe the "fixa" is meant for SEGA to keep players playing the same walmart(Aegis UQ) content in hopes of getting it. there are players still till this day that did not get any fixas on their main weapon only RELIKS?SECHETYLS KEK.... others got a +3 fatale on a weapon they never used and rerolled just to flex .....pretty stupid system sega has here. its just a marketing for FOMO players to keep doing something they dont want to do and still get spat on their faces after having over 180% RDR and get nothing.. i could care less i just think its comical for players to go out of their way to tell me how "important" fixas are while i laugh internally why i keep reminding myself there is ZERO content to use them on EFFECTIVLY. it is what it is tho. HESTIA all your suggestion are great but will SEGA listen is the biggest PROBLEM, we will see. we all know SEGA's true endgame is called "WALLET TO AC SCRATCHES"..
This is why i stopped playing this game
