I got this guitar about 5 months ago and I'm blown away at how good it is. The quality of the neck it's amazing. I'm a left handed player and got mine in sea foam green. Looks the business. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this guitar. All the best from the UK 👍👍
Just bought a sunburst JS300 for $199 and ots a great guitar. Looks classy, great roadted maple neck, plays well. Granted, dont expect hardware and pickups to be great, but they are decent enough. You would not be embarassed to play it in a bar, not at all. Good looking guitar, great deal.
Got me one of these 4 months ago, rolled edges on the neck is superb and so comfortable, the pots/5 way/input jack were pretty junk but have replaced with cts and put in some vintera mod 60s pickups. Man this thing with decent pickups in it sounds unbelievable! I work in one of the big music retail shops in the UK and our in house luthier loves playing this thing, I have access to play custom shops but always have this hanging next to me in my dept and is my go to for noodling. Yes, they are a bugger to get hold of now as the demand for the js and jt models is crazy. Definitely one of the best cheap guitars to mod up, period. Throw and extra £150 into it and you have a guitar that sounds and plays x5 it's price tag.
Absolutely agreed! We love them I'm waiting for my two to arrive! Phil got his,l need mine! The demand is off the charts and with good reason,how do they do it!? Incredible value,yep ill throw in some decent guts on the Tele and strat when l finally get em!
Hi Doug. How are you?. Absolutely the quality of budget guitars is on the rise. Between this and an Aria stg62 I tried recently all I can say is WOW. Though I will always tell people to try before you buy if you can.
Those appear to be terrific guitars. Dave Simpson demoed one recently. I really like your burst and the tortoise shell pickguard and spring cover on back. Unfortunately Jet guitars are not available in the US where I live. I wish the Jet people would get some dealers in the US so I could buy one. Great video guys! 👍☮️🌞🎸❤️
Cheers. Yep I bought the jet after watching Daves review. Hopefully they will be available in the US soon. Though they are hard to get in Europe at the moment. We found a local shop that sells them, he was saying he has more on order but could be 1 week one month or 3 months before they arrive.

Hey man! To be honest I haven't been up there in years,Phil neither, we usually get what we need in Jimis and for acoustic stuff Goodwins on Capel street is amazing,has anything l need for gigs etc.
@@kkk-wp1kv A good overdrive (eg tube screamer)or distortion pedal (eg plexi type pedal)will give you plenty of gain to a strat, then you might need a noise gate pedal to reduce the 60 cycle hum. Seymour Duncan also make a single coil sized humbucker for strats if you need more umph
I’ve the JS 300 in sea foam green, I change the string tree to a triple tree, the G string was buzzing against the two string tree. Other than that it’s my messing about with guitar at home 💚 Love from Dun Laoghaire ☘️
Canadian maple is the one that produces maple sugar. When you roast it, the sirup inside evaporates leaving sugar crystals that stiffen the wood. Stiffer wood = less damping effect. Few people understand the benefit of roasted maple for the guitar neck. Stiffer platform gives you much better sustain. The appearance is just a byproduct.
