Nah, Ridley Scott did that with Alien: Covenant after everyone hated on Prometheus. Something like "they want Aliens, I'll give them fucking Aliens" was what he said. So we got robot fiddling and baby xenojesus.
Interesting thing: the "producer's cut" used to be something of a rarity. Once upon a time the only way to actually see it was as a bootleg copy with grainy as hell footage. It wasn't until fairly recently they gave it a legit release. 🎃
Too bad none of the cuts included that scene of the kid in the wheelchair falling from a cliff while an alien watches which is required by law to be in every Paul Rudd movie.
The two things that always stick out in my head about this movie are how the Weinsteins hated Donald Pleasance and cut most of his screen time because they thought he was "too old and boring" And that they hated the actress playing Kara Strode because supposedly they thought she was "too thin and her chin was too pointy" (And given what we know now, I think we can figure out the REAL reason)

Is an episode about The Crow coming next? Because that was a lot of specific footage during the "If you know of any other cursed productions..." Bit at the end?
One has to wonder just how much of these difficulties could have been alieviated by the director taking Harvey up on his offer of "Simply come over to this corner and see how I water my plants"
Watch, a few years after Halloween Ends has passed, the interdimensional Michael team up and final battle between an army of the Strode family will happen.
Glad to see Rolfe doing more collabs. Thank goodness for Halloween 2018. That was the best Halloween since the original. I haven't heard good things about Halloween Kills but I hope future films do more what 2018 did.

I've got a reboot trilogy idea. It starts with an origin story for Michael himself in the opening (A-la the Rob Zombie remake), then, after Judith is killed, it flashes forward to Laurie and her friends as it recreates the original film. The next entry focuses on an old Laurie Strode and she trains her Great GrandDaughter, like Obi-Wan Kenobi Trained Luke Skywalker. Then, her Great GrandDaughter Survives Halloween Night on her own, and she reunites with Laurie and tells her Michael is back. The Final Entry shows Laurie and her Great GrandDaughter as they come face to face with Michael Myers once again and they fights him, Just like in Laurie and Allyson did Halloween Ends. But the fight is long and drawn out, like the Mustafar duel in Revenge Of The Sith. Eventually, Michael would be defeated and buried. As a big crossover and conclusion of this timeline, Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Michael shows Michael being resurrected and fighting Freddy and Jason. This time, Laurie would not appear since she died before this crossover, leaving it to just these guys to duke it out.

I really wonder how long it's gonna take until behind the scenes talk starts dripping from Kills. Like, all the themes and intentions aside, that movie absolutely felt like it was originally like 3 hours long and they cut every scene down for time, it's so badly rushed there has to be at least some stories of what's missing.
