Pre-cell phones, we all had that moment of yelling to the ringing land line as we ran through the house to pick it up. That is until your mom picked up a 100ft cord for it so it could be snaked all throughout the house! Good times!
So true. The long phone cords were a godsend. My older sisters always hogged the damn phone. It was a constant battle for who got the phone 1st. I grew up with 3 older sisters. I was glad my main childhood friends lived on my street or at least on the same block. I knew they were home, cuz I would ride my bike over to their house and knock on the door. 😂✌️. If you saw other bikes in the yard, ya knew it was a party lol. Video games and free sodas. This was in the 1980’s. We played Atari and then Nintendo 😍💥
Lol! My good times was trying to pick up the phone quietly as possible so i could listen to the conversation only for me to be listening for 2 sec until my mom said hang up the phone before i hang it up in your ass lol
The police was told that Michael did stole a coffin of a nine year old girl and it can be seen in the attic at the end of the movie where Jamie lays into it. As for Loomis being completely insane at this point is realistic. The amount of mayhem he witnessed and responsibility he feels with his former patient killing a lot of innocent people and that Michael’s evil will never die would make anyone completely crazy, impatient, or tired
@@WildWestRascal totally... poor Dr. Loomis knew this serial killing machine since he was a novice 6yr old boy. I could imagine how pissed off I would be too if I were him. It’s true in every film he had to explain who Michael Myers is. Just saying the name Michael Myers should be enough for any resident of Haddonfield to grab their weapons of choice and hope for the best. Nothing works on him anyway. He will probably die of old age. It’s the only thing they have not used yet. Someone said that on a HK review video & I laughed so hard. I wish I remembered their name. He said yeah watch Myers die of old age or Covid. I said true, maybe that is the key to his demise all along. Haddonfield just needs to wait it out.
Agree with everything you said as I was just as confused when the guy said how would Loomis even know that or whatever. I got the impression that offscreen , maybe he was told by a cop about the child’s coffin being dug up. Or maybe it isn’t that he dug one up but went to a mortuary and stole it? Maybe you’re right, but not sure If I remember him saying the police were told that Michael stole the coffin. If so, it’s like, did someone see him in his mask and all, assuming it was Michael? Because at this point, he’s still considered to have been killed in the mineshaft. Loomis and Jamie know otherwise. Which brings me to another question? Did Jamie foresee that Michael was still alive as her new psychic ability had her imitating michaels kills or worried about Rachel as she felt something, not sure about Michael still alive, but she was losing it when she felt her life was in danger. How didn’t she bug out when Rachael was stabbed with the sister? And there’s one final question, as in nobody follows up on Rachael an hour or two later to see she is still safe? She was going to wherever to meet her parents, right? She didn’t seem to be in a rush or packing things. I think I just need to rewatch it then! Lol. After so many things in Halloween Kills, where so many things happened where you can let something fly that doesn’t make sense, even for a second time. But when you’re paying attention that much more, and see a million other things which cam eoff more insulting than anything else to the hardcore fans who know the original inside and out , having watched it a million times, like Lonny going from being a bully on the same day as he’s the one being bullied by two girls and a boy in the flashback scene as he now seems to no longer have his two buddies and has been trick r treating by himself. One of the many things that had us saying, uhhhhhh.....what did I miss? Oh wait. Nothing. Because we’re not even given any clue whatsoever as he went from being the bully to being the one picked on!
I always assumed the curse was transferring from Michael to Jamie. His humanity was returning. Jamie was darkening and staying silent just like Michael, hence Loomis' new attitude. He saw what was happening and is understandably not cool with it
@@yungblade7 Understandable, but if they wanted to up the stakes then don't kill off the second main character in 20 minutes. Keep them around for the movie THEN kill them off for like a sacrifice to protect another.

5:58 - back before cellphones, every single person has yelled I'm coming when running to answer the phone. We knew the other person couldn't hear us, we just didn't want them to hang up before we got to the phone... No caller ID - we'd be wondering who's call we just missed.
Loomis fully sees Jamie as he saw Michael. He believed Michael was pure evil so by extension, Jamie too must be evil. Also, he didnt dig up the grave for the 9 year old corpse, more for a 9 year old sized coffin to put his 9 year old niece in. Come on guys, I thought this was a video about things WE missed!
But it’s implied as “THAT” so we don’t know if he’s referring to the coffin or actual body when he says, “What do you think he’s going to do with that!?” As if he was referring to the coffin it would’ve made more sense to say “it” . Just saying, took me awhile to grasp it. Especially since in 6 they go into a more darker storyline
Exactly! He is scared Jamie will turn out just like Michael and is literally losing his mind trying to stop Michael from killing again. He tries every way he can to try to get Jamie to help him track Michael down. Scaring her about the child coffin, bringing up her stepmom, etc. Sadly, she is scared as hell and had this weird connection to Michael so she breaks under the pressure until she sees Tina in danger. 🎃🖤
I call the Thorn Trilogy the Jamie Lloyd Trilogy as the Thorn doesn't appear until Halloween 5, on another note, the two cops that Michael kills at The Myers House are named Eddie and Charlie, I started thinking their names could be a nod to Chucky as Chucky and his real first name Charles are both nicknames for Charlie and Eddie being killed in the driver's seat of a car could be a nod to Charles Lee Ray's partner Eddie Caputo who was supposed to be his getaway driver before leaving him for dead before he possesses Chucky
But like, Jamie is barely in 6, so still kind of cuts out one movie. And they at least mentioned The Thorn in 4. I like your Eddie and Charles theory, I think it fits really well.
There is an underlying aspect of Michael killing and how he sets up the victims in an aspect of prop prank scares throughout every film to the most recent one
"Why yell at the phone?". Yeah you showing your young age (and me showing my old age....in answering it) it was actually quite normal when your landline rang and you had to run to answer it....before the invention of and wide use of cordless phones and later cell and smart phones....just like telling an inanimate object to "stay" when you hit it and it wobbles or it falls and you pick it up and set it back where its supposed to be....
Young people will never know the pleasure of slamming the phone down when you hang up on someone. Pressing the screen just doesn't give the same satisfaction.
"character change in Michael Myers"?? In the first film he doesn't kill everyone he bumps into. He does eavesdrop on other characters in daylight. He watches people from a distance. That said, it could be the dumb psychic connection between him and Jamie that causes his hesitation when reaching out to Racheal.
I watched it back a few days ago, and my god was it painful to get through. A lot of scenes were so dumb I completely burst out laughing and the other parts were just painfully boring… it is fun to watch with a group of friends though because of how bad it is
I never had a problem with the way Loomis acted in this movie. The man was tired of all this shit and hit his boiling point as I think anyone would. He offered Jamie up to get Michael down stairs for the trap that was set.

Halloween 5 had so much potential just for them to kill the favorite character off right away in Rachel And not go anywhere worth while with Michael an the little girl! connection
I’m so upset how dirty they did Rachel. I kind of like the dynamic with Tina being Rachel’s friend and her trying to save Jamie, but them killing her off too ruined it. In my opinion they should have done more with Rachel.
"Michael Myers doesn't talk, now she doesn't talk." Wait, this type of thing also happened in Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning with Tommy Jarvis and his obsession on Jason, and the endings of both 5th installments of franchise are similar, Tommy tried to stab Pam while wearing Roy's mask with Jamie trying to stab her stepmom whike wearing a clown mask.
The jumpcut in where Michael kills Tina's boyfriend Michael is cause he was convulsing on the ground and it lingered for a few seconds. I think they cut the impact of the kill shorter too.
I like the fact that they humanize Michael in this.. the fact that when Jamie calls him Uncle he stops and the fact that Jamie said let me see he actually took off his mask and he was actually going to let her touch his face but then he had to think about everything he's been through and he snapped out of it.. Jamie could have been the one person that actually get through to Michael.
I believe the blue suede shoes line is about the texture of the shoes themselves being easily noticeable or the shoes being clean making them easily noticeable. Either that or some type of dirt or material on suede that would make it easily noticeable. I think it’s funny how in the Halloween community this one comes up it’s confusing, every time I ever watched the scene I never questioned it and understood the context.
It means Breast and Blue Suede Shoes ALWAYS catch your eye. And thats how clear he saw the trouble on Loomis' face, or whatever it was he said he saw. lol
A "colossal boo boo" that I've never seen mentioned in any recap/review of this fine flick (ahem...) is that when Jamie calls out "Uncle Boogeyman" and Michael Meyers sheds a tear; the close-up of the crying eyeball is that of his left...which was skewered out by Jamies mother Laurie in the patriarch of this franchise... continuity amiright?!? 🍻😛
I always thought that since Jamie touched his hand at the end of 4, she got some of the evil, but then he got a small opening in which his humanity shows. They each have moments in which they behave like the other. (Jamie stabbing her stepmom, and Michael tearing up.) Both of them aren’t that strong enough to completely change the character, but it’s still there along with each other’s sight. 🎃🖤
The first time I saw Halloween 5 was Biddeford Cinemas, Biddeford, Maine on October 21, 1989 at 2pm. But there was a problem, I hadn't seen Halloween 4. But I had seen Halloween's one through three. So the first time I saw Halloween 5, I was confused. I remember I tried and tried to get people to take me to go see it but got nowhere until my brother gave in and took me. He didn't like it but I did, even though I hadn't seen Halloween 4. I finally first saw Halloween 4 when it premiered on HBO, February 17, 1990. After I watched it, I remember it helped me a lot.
skabcat242 The original plan was to make 3 movies, with different events occurring on Halloween night. After Halloween 2, John & Debra tried to fulfill that goal, if this was a serious question, lol.
Love your work... got to ask.... ever did one about nightmare on elm st? I would like to think I know everything about Freddy but per your videos so far about horror series they're is a lot that I've missed.
Halloween 5 is BONKERS. And the totally different “Myers House” will forever boggle my mind. But I 💯 would have appreciated more about Michael’s life in between the Halloweens… bonding with Tippi. She seemed cool
I hope the Things I Missed in this film help make it a better movie haha! Will be finding out quickly here, but both of us on our channel aren't big fans of this installment, mainly because of the Cult of Thorn plot line!
Hey Zac & Jimmy, I saw a documentary that talked about how the H5 cops are an homage to the ones in Wes Craven’s The Last House on the Left-including the same carnival music.
I kind of always saw Michael as someone who got possessed or taken over. To me Michael is stuck in the body while someone else is on control. Thats why we get the tear. Becuase Michael has to watch all this horrible stuff happen but he cant do anything about it but watch. I also attribute this as to why he walks away from some kills in this movie. Jamie can see through Michaels eyes in this movie. So I think that she was able to control him at times, probably unknowingly and was able to steer him away . Thats where I thought the "Thorn trilogy" was going. Especially because of the passing of the tattoo in part 6. So the person with the tattoo was controlling michael. Again, all while michael himself can do nothing but watch as he is a prisoner inside the body.
People used to yell “I’m coming” all the time when house phones would ring. Obviously everyone knows the person can’t hear you, but it happened…. A lot
7:43 Well... Yeah, Jimmy. 😆 In the original, he had countless opportunities to kill Bob, Lynda and Annie but he didn't. He, as you said, enjoyed stalking them. I don't get why you're confused by how stalkerish he is on this film when it was clearly established in the original that he is creeper.
@8:48 you state that Dr. Loomis says that Michael dug up the grave of a 9 year old girl and you wrongfully assumed he made it up- You can clearly see the little girl's coffin from said grave in the film when Jamie goes upstairs to the attic and sees the candlelight alter Michael made her and she actually climbs into that coffin and tries to touch Michael's face to get him to see reason that she's his niece, a child, and convince him that he should not hurt her. It's very obvious that Michael in fact did dig up a child's grave at the cemetery. We didn't need to see it done in the film to know it indeed happened. Just like we didn't see Michael physically dig up Judith's grave in the original 1978 movie, but we see her headstone later in the film and know what he did.
Missed opportunity to point out how the whole plot is based off the other characters moving on with their lives. They assume Michael was killed EVEN tho they never found the BODY!!! Lol
Rachel’s death pissed me off more than any other death in this franchise. Tina wasn’t an innocent enough character to carry the movie. She did good considering what they gave her to work with. She couldn’t carry it how Rachel would’ve tho. I think the kills started too soon too considering the pace of the movie overall.
If u watch 616 entertainment's video you'll find out that the reason she's killed off is bc mr director man wanted his lead actress to be a brunette :) He's the worst director
To me, call me crazy, the reason that the mask, at least with the hair, looks different is due to the exposure to the river water wetting up the hair alot while Michael was in it (For as short as he was) and because the mask was left in, more or less, outside conditions, it was left in the weird slicked back way. As for the actual latex... I dunno. XD Also, the jump cut edit I can explain as originally when he fell on the ground, Mikey's body was twitch more before Michael pulled it away, but the MPAA actually forced them to take out a second or two of it, WITHIN THE MIDDLE OF THE SAME SHOT, hence the jump cut. I actually noticed alot of different little jump cuts within the same shots in the film, like when Jamie is looking for a place to hide in the Myers house.
Jimmy took the words right out of my mouth. Poor Rachel was done dirty in this one. I really hate the circus clown sound effects used for the cops but after you pointed out all of the clowns in the movie I started to wonder if there was a connection...nah, I'm giving the film way too much credit. This thing is a mess. Great video though! And bring Jimmy back. You're gonna need him for the next Halloween video!
The jump cut during Mikey's death is due to it having to be cut down for the MPAA ratings, There is some other scenes that were omitted from the movie entirely such as the swat massacre & Jamie getting stabbed in the leg in the laundry chute.
I agree. When she touched him she got some of the evil, but then he got a small opening in which his humanity shows. Both of them aren’t that strong enough to completely change the character, but it’s still there along with each other’s sight.

Honestly, I agree with the idea that someone else taking up the mask after the Michael's death; would've really been a cool idea. To start the movie off like the rest, and reveal early on or in the mid that it isn't Michael, but not say who until the next movie or the end of it, would be a cool thing (imo).
I just started watching your content and my favourite videos are the SAW videos. After the Halloween franchise I want you to do a horror history of the sadistic sawyer family
Rachel yelling “I’m coming” at the phone, many people myself included did that and still do. The 9 year olds coffin is in the attic, do believe its mentioned to the cops about it being dug up.
He could have killed Laurie and all her friends much earlier in the original. He always stalked his prey before choosing to stab them, unless there was a reason that would directly help him get closer to Jamie. Like killing the cops/drunk guys with guys in Halloween 4 and in this one it would be him stealing Mikey’s car, and pretending to be him. It’s obvious he prefers to stalk his prey before slashing them. 🎃🖤
The whole “mute” thing has less to do with making a connection between her and Michael and more about them not wanting to pay the actress that plays Jamie. They literally switch up everything and humanize him as a consequence of being cheapskates, rather then some artistically motivated direction 🤦♂️
halloween 4 and 5 were my favorites strictly because of rachel lol. that and there’s a lot more depth with him and jaime because she knows from the start what michael’s plan is while laurie doesnt know until it is almost too late. and the next movie explains the human aspect of michael so thats perfectly fine by me. actually the rob zombie ones are my favorite but thats a different franchise in my eyes.
11:11 the jump cut is because of the scene being edited down to avoid an X-rating with the MPAA.
X was the nc17 in 1989 and was the hornpub rating then because a lot of those hornpub movies got that rating.
idk what anyone says 6 is the worse tops

Wait, this type of thing also happened in Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning with Tommy Jarvis and his obsession on Jason, and the endings of both 5th installments of franchise are similar, Tommy tried to stab Pam while wearing Roy's mask with Jamie trying to stab her stepmom whike wearing a clown mask.
The jumpcut in where Michael kills Tina's boyfriend Michael is cause he was convulsing on the ground and it lingered for a few seconds. I think they cut the impact of the kill shorter too.
Halloween 5 is my favourite, it's the first in the series I remember seeing as a kid.
Love your videos CZ!
Yeah, she got some of his evil and he got a small part of his humanity back when she touched him.
I watched 1, 2, and started 4 last night! This is an annual tradition for me. Next Saturday night is an order from Pizza Hut and the last two films.
Loser
You skipped 3??
@@randycunningham7318 I've never seen it! I should, but since Michael isn't in it I never did.
@bw2569 Not true actually Michael appears on a TV showing the first movie
I believe the blue suede shoes line is about the texture of the shoes themselves being easily noticeable or the shoes being clean making them easily noticeable. Either that or some type of dirt or material on suede that would make it easily noticeable. I think it’s funny how in the Halloween community this one comes up it’s confusing, every time I ever watched the scene I never questioned it and understood the context.
Back when Elvis was big, the parents believed Elvis shaking and dancing was of the devil and evil-hence blue suede shoes....
11:00the dead dog barking got me😂😂
It means Breast and Blue Suede Shoes ALWAYS catch your eye. And thats how clear he saw the trouble on Loomis' face, or whatever it was he said he saw. lol
yoo he is on full power this month
Agreed
"But something tells me you don't..." lolol
I was kinda dissapointed Jamie did not become evil in Halloween 5.
The Halloween franchise is about Michael not Jamie smh
@@juliusminaj Then how do you explain Halloween III?
skabcat242 The original plan was to make 3 movies, with different events occurring on Halloween night. After Halloween 2, John & Debra tried to fulfill that goal, if this was a serious question, lol.
It wouldn't make any sense it was better to have her struggling with the side effects
Love your work... got to ask.... ever did one about nightmare on elm st? I would like to think I know everything about Freddy but per your videos so far about horror series they're is a lot that I've missed.
yess, i agree
I prefer a movie with a story so the fact that this movie stays on a film timeline i love it
New CZsWorld! Woohoo! Ur hair looks amazing BTW 😍
Criminally underrated channel.
6:01 to be fair ive done the same thing even though i know they cant hear me, its more that im talking to myself.
Hey Zac & Jimmy,
I saw a documentary that talked about how the H5 cops are an homage to the ones in Wes Craven’s The Last House on the Left-including the same carnival music.
1:07 side note: look at her eyes, look familiar? yep, blood going down the eye spots, similar to Halloween 2
Beginning of 4 is best opening to any Halloween
A lot
this is the correct answer....
“You’re gay for mole man”
Mole man “no ones gay for mole man”
The simpsons
New upload from CZsworld yes!!!!!
Thank you for posting part 5 ahh
You can tell you’re mostly pre cell phone era. I screamed “I’m coming!” to the corded phone all the time 🤣
@8:48 you state that Dr.
I wasn't expecting this crossover,but I enjoyed it.
7:27 Maybe Michael didn't kill them because it was day and Michael's routine is stalk by day and kill by night (mostly)
What is the point of Rachel getting replaced by Tina by getting killed off -which did piss me off too, If she's gonna be killed off later on
They have Michael shed a tear out of his completely normal left eye. Bothersome since his left eye was blinded in the first movie.
I dunno. XD
Also, the jump cut edit I can explain as originally when he fell on the ground, Mikey's body was twitch more before Michael pulled it away, but the MPAA actually forced them to take out a second or two of it, WITHIN THE MIDDLE OF THE SAME SHOT, hence the jump cut. I actually noticed alot of different little jump cuts within the same shots in the film, like when Jamie is looking for a place to hide in the Myers house.
Love the Illinois in October reference....so true lol
I’ve watched all ur videos at work this week I need u to upload like 5 videos a day bro I’m feinding 🤣
Same😭I work overnights and watch this all night 😂
Early for CZ!
always love your videos.
a horror history for la llorana would be AMAZING
I think Michael becoming more human is because he's connected to Jamie
I agree. When she touched him she got some of the evil, but then he got a small opening in which his humanity shows. Both of them aren’t that strong enough to completely change the character, but it’s still there along with each other’s sight.
Halloween 4: Michael gets unloaded on by the local posse. Halloween 5: not one bullet hole in his goddamn jumpsuit.
Im late in finding your amazing videos i stayed up till 7am watching all the demons from conjuring films i started watching Halloween first and well i just kept watching im literally hooked on your videos the details of the films you give are amazing you answer the questions we all are thinking of your better then Google cant wait to see more but i need to catch up on all your videos so far im obsessed not in a stalker way in a i love horror films and love to have chats about horror films after i have watched them and thats what i like about your videos ooh dear im coming off abit like misery im your number 1 fan vibe cant wait to see more bless be my friend 🌛🌚🌜
I actually like Halloween 5 a lot! One ov my favorites in the franchise 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Very good video, nearly Halloween too
I love Loomis’s transition in the series - trying to kill Micheal drove him insane. A monster created a monster.
Love the Talking Heads reference...although ironic when 2 heads are mute. 🤣
8:43 We don't see it but that's why he had the little coffin stacked on the tub in the attic. Loomis even asked her what he intends to do with that.
I love your method of presentation... So very cool. 👌👌☺️
Honestly, I agree with the idea that someone else taking up the mask after the Michael's death; would've really been a cool idea.
To start the movie off like the rest, and reveal early on or in the mid that it isn't Michael, but not say who until the next movie or the end of it, would be a cool thing (imo).
Love the collab guys... I'm going to check Jimmy's page now...
Cool VIDEO!!!! Thank For The Video
2:45 Apparently they were going to use the H4 mask but it didn’t fit Don Shanks’ face so they made a new one
I just started watching your content and my favourite videos are the SAW videos. After the Halloween franchise I want you to do a horror history of the sadistic sawyer family
love your vids!!!!
Yesss!!! I’ve never been this early😆🙌🏽
I've enjoyed every video you've put out.
the best moment for me would have been when he was killing the old man in the house and the way they really showed his psychotic side
Woah!! This is sooo cool!!!!! I really like this!!!!!
The best thing would be to miss the whole movie.
Agreed
Great video
What a gift 🙌🏻
Rachel yelling “I’m coming” at the phone, many people myself included did that and still do. The 9 year olds coffin is in the attic, do believe its mentioned to the cops about it being dug up.
Loomis was definitely going mental in this movie respectfully
5:58 I do that all the time, I thought everyone did...
Same.
