That ASrock board is x399 for Threadripper. Might still fetch a decent price as long as it works. Kind of ironic that its the motherboard for the competitor to the 7980XE which is on the x299 chipset.

The AsRock Taichi is probably one of the best X399 mainboards on the market, the reputation of being "cheap" comes from the time when AsRock was just the entry level brand of Asus, those times are long gone

On the other hand, good luck on finding a school, NGO or whatever that may have THAT specific printer for that toner.

I totally understand your disappointment with the Motherboard. Amazon's return policy is good for the consumer but, it can bite the vendor in the backside. I worked with a company (we had an Amazon page). We sold a customer some optics (Riffle Scopes) and they claimed they didn't like them, Amazon instantly refunded the money and sent them a shipping label. The S.O.B. sent back the crappy (Old) Scopes he replaced with ours. Our company was out about $800.00. Amazon should contact the Vendors and ensure that the proper item is the one returned.

I've bought a couple of pallets from liquidation.com after watching videos like this and man all that crap is abused and just trash. I'm not saying you can't get nice stuff but I've tried looking at manifest and buying auctions from amazon returns but most of it was just junk and/or didn't work. You do get like say $2500 of stuff for like $200 but that's MSRP and all the big kicker is that a TON of the returns don't work and or aren't what is described on the manifest. So the last pallet I bought out of 42 items on the manifest 2 were in decent condition about 80% was trashed to the point of not even worth selling. Never again will I buy from liquidation.com My suspicion is they cherry pick their pallets because the old "bait and switch" happened on about 9 of the 42 items on my pallet. Just sharing my experience so maybe I'll save someone some heartache and a few hundred dollars better spent buying from real suppliers or even in person auctions.

A lot of these items are clearly used, and used electronics don't bring in the profit that you would expect them to (most of the time).
Your title is probably the market price of all the items you recieved when they are brand new, not the prices you will be able to re-sell these items for.
That being said, your title is pretty misleading.. It will probably lead to some people buying these boxes, so they can try to make a profit reselling the contents.. but unfortunately, if they do manage to sell all of the items, they won't make much of a profit, if they even make a profit at all. It is harder than you think to sell these random, used items.

I am someone who works with liquidations. We have 2 warehouses full of Target stock. A lot of it is new and they couldn't scan the barcode on the inventory sticker. Sometimes it's as simple as that. If the manufacture can't label their shipments correctly, Target doesn't take the time to open the boxes and figure out what it is. The errors are usually something stupid like no check digit or missing first digit.

Hey Frank love the series so far that said, wish you did a recap at the end of the vid, instead of doing it at the end of the season.. makes more sense imo, i mean im 100% not going to remember everything that was noteworthy in this episode and the next few episodes by the end of the month, heck ill prob forget about it all by the time the recap comes along unless u do some major editing to remind us, but again that’ll make the recap much longer which is what you’re trying to avoid, i think 😅.
A 5-10min recap at the end of each episode is better (imo) than to mush all the episodes of the season into one recap vid at the end. Just a thought.

Years ago I used to buy this kind of thing off the old Egghead website. HP would dump pallets of new CPU's, RAM, etc. This video makes me want to buy a couple lots. Your commentary is very good and love the camera work. You got some cool stuff -- the motherboard was heartbreaking! I have that PSU and its a pretty good mid grade one. Great video!

Talk about high maintenance, honestly I would be over thrilled to get double-sided tape because it’s just so fun to play with tape.

*There were a couple of cords you said had about six pins in them but didn't know what they were. If they were round and somewhat flimsy feeling they were probably midi cables.
    * the speakon cables. Very expensive. You have the speakon connector at one end and a quarter inch plug at the other. This is a musical instrument or speaker cable depending on whether or not it is Shielded. If it's not shielded it is a speaker cable. You will find them with the speak on/ quarter inch plug shut up or the speakon/ grounded AC power plug set up generally used musically 4 powered speakers. These are extremely heavy gauge and it cost a ton of money and I hope you got a lot of them.

3:23 somehow, I thought of that before you put it in. I've never heard the original song but niel cicierga used it on one of his albums I used to listen to. Good stuff, frank.

That's what I thought too. And it's not a budget brand. He doesn't know what he's talking about.

TheNordicHunter I don't buy Asrock brand. I also consider it to be a lower end brand compared to ASUS, Gigabyte or MSI. The board it self is one of Asrock higher models though. Still wouldn't buy it though.

TheCompbuzz It’s true that every brand has high and low grades of their products. But it really comes down to option and not quality. Budget brand is like what you’d find if you tore apart a $200-$300 from Walmart. They sell even cheaper than that. Those are not only budget, but very low in quality. I spend just over $2,000 after rebates to build my 3D PC. It’s not a high end $10k PC but it’s fast and doesn’t have a bunch of what I don’t need.

The fact he thinks gigabyte is high end is a sign tbh. The only high end motherboard (not that it would make an ounce of difference to performance) is a ASUS RoG one. Purely for the aesthetic
