Larry: Federer and Djokovic are your toughest? What about Murray and Nadal?
John: Never beat them before so i don't know
Djokovic beat one time
And now he beat Murray😁
Lol
8-0 vs Andy Murray, that sure sounds like a tough opponent John 🤔.
David Illingsworth 7-0 against Nadal too....
Tom Deverson
Yes, strange that both Nadal and Murray are not his toughest opponents, when he's never beaten them. At least he didn't say James Ward 🤔
Yes, if they are tough and you beat them, it makes you look good.
Djokovic is the best returner, you saw what he did to him in the atp finals
He is talking probably only about the time he faced PEAK Roger and Djokovic. When he probably lost.
Mahut.. What about 70-68 in a five set?
One of the best ever TV hosts, Rest In Peace, Mr. Larry King. 😢 Good interview with Big John.
Toughest isn’t necessarily the guy you also lose to. It can be the person that makes you most uncomfortable and you are not sure how to play against. Kyrgios said something similar about Federer making you feel bad on court.
I really like john
all them rafa fans salty just because he forgot to mention nadal. Damn dude, its just isner. Not like this dude is a Goat or something.
One match vs Mahut?
5-2 vs Federer
8-2 vs Djokovic
7-0 vs Nadal
still picks the guys he's beaten before...
Alexander Kang exhibition match, no count
Tom Deverson
Andy Murray 8 - 0 and he doesn't even get a mention. Me thinks Mr Isner has a selective memory
David Illingsworth yes I was gonna say that. Never beaten Murray or Nadal yet picks the guys he's beaten before....?? Think he's maybe a bit biased to the other two.
not necessarily, it may be the case that he feels (for him) that even though he already has beaten them (Novak & Federer); those times he lost to them, it was utter losses, they were playing to good for him even more so than playing against the likes of Nadal or Murray to whom he always lost, but maybe not as hard.. (just assuming here)
Actually these questions should have been asked by L King, the interviewer- 'Why did u chose Fed and Nole on whom u already had won and not Murray or Nadal on whom u didnt beat ever?'
Isner RIDICULOUS
No mahut?! the longest game in pro tennis history? cmon mannn
Big maaaaan on court !
I think the reason he finds them tough is because when they’re playing well he doesn’t feel like he has any advantage with his serve.
...and you do not mention the one who has beaten you systematically? interesting
He has never beaten Murray and I only beaten Nadal once, but pics the two he has twice, just weird.
Why does everyone keep bringing up Murray like he's actually known outside the tennis world 😂.
Then for Nadal, isner almost beat him at the French in 2011 which was isner's first french
Never beat Nadal.... laver cup doesn’t count
@@fedwrld7617 people are idiotic. The question says hard to beat not never beaten
@@grigorirasputin7165 Of course Laver Cup counts. If it didn't count Nadal wouldn't be celebrating the victory at the end of the tournament.
@@SHVideografie Lol... Laver cup doesn´t count, it´s just exhibition...
I remember that match and Rafa was laughing and joking around during the whole match.
If Nadal plays that match in serious competition mode like he always does in real tournaments Isner has no chance, as always vs Rafa.
Nadal?
7-0 vs Nadal
0-7 vs Nadal. What’s with putting the numbers in the wrong place?
@@blake7871 what's with making a wrong question?
It's 0-7, not 7-0.
Kohlschreiber defeated Isner 2 or 3 times at the US Open. He deserves to be mentioned...
Hahah yeah Kohlschreiber. Underrated player
Seeing all the nadal fans crying in the comments are making me laugh so hard 🤣😂👌👌
Uhmm... "thanks" for leaving Rafa Nadal out, he beat you on 7-1 ratio (88% of the times). Roger Federer beat you only 80% of the times (8 wins for roger and 2 for John Isner). Novak has a ratio of 82% (he beat you 9 times , you beat him 2 times) so at the end of the day Rafa is the one that beat you the most and you left him out... I see..we see.
Its Murray with 8-0 but yeah this guy have something against Rafa or even Andy
never beat rafa , laver cup is an exibtion , it deosnt count
Laver cup doesn't count
@KyoFanDuB he doesn’t have anything against Rafa
that is because most of Claydal's win against Isner came on clay court where Isner's serves obviously do not have an advantage. Almost all of Novak's wins came in hard against Isner - where Isner, despite having a chance, was outplayed.
Mahut...Mahut...MAHUT!!!
He does not mention Nadal for a reason.

He likes to keep his eyebrows on the top shelf...
He just don't like Rafa, this guy is funny...
yeah... he is the typical american... hates to acknowledge the really great... cant believe that they think they are the best because they speak english with that accent... funny laughable people... thanks to these american male tennis players... i am a big fan of the Williams gals... they are the true face of a sporting America...
@@jayap3557 you don’t like jack sock?
@@jayap3557 ur rly delusional and think that he hates them because rafa speaks with a accent. I dont what kind of false narrative you have created in your mind. Who knows why he doesnt like Rafa. Have you ever considered the possibility your just dumb and he actually has no problems with rafa? Or you just love rafa to the end and back and cant appreaciate other players greatness.
Why disrespect Rafa?
'cause he has never beaten him
Has he played Rafa in clay??
yeah he was actually the first to take rafa in 5 sets at the french open
@@ooflord5711 Should we count that as a win?
@@ooflord5711 soderling ya mean
@@rupaksavan8452 soderling won in 4 bro
Almost beat him in the 2011 French Open 1st round.
He is lying lol... He chose Novak and Federer cause he was able to beat them several times and that gives more value to his own level of tennis...So that´s just his ego talking.
His real toughest opponent is the one he could never beat: Nadal 7-0..... And Murray is probably his 2nd toughest opponent, cause he could only beat his new diminished version, but before Andy´s hip problem he was 8-0 vs him
Agreed it was a very calculated answer.
Nadal on clay is probably the hardest person to beat.
That's the problem with dudes that can serve. If they can get hot, it's hard to return an ace...
well. he doesn't wanna mention andy or rafa because he never even had chance to beat them. usually, mediocre player doesn't want to acknowledge the real threat like young punk tsitsipas.
Or maybe he just thought they were tougher
John isner mediocre
You great
At the time he was literally top 10 he was above Murray at the time
Bro u don’t have 1 grand slam title so you were kinda random player to be honest
You hav never beaten Rafa
Deva Savant laver cup 2017 he beat rafa
Cameron Brown not in an official match
@@cameronbrown7934 that was exhibition
@@cameronbrown7934 exebition deosnt count
Just look at the git them question. And stop bringing the "he has never beaten Nadal or Murray". Being thoughter to beat is different to what you have in mind
Against nadal 8-1
Jajajaja and Nadal? you never beat Nadal about this you dont say nothing? Jajajajaja great
I'm a Rafa fan.
Has this guy even won anything solid...? why does anyone even ask such people for their opinions on such matters as the best... toughest...blah blah... all the top folks have openly stated that RafaNadal is the toughest of them all... and he is too... what is this guy going on about... fake as always...
he just likes federer and djokovic, so what?
That's why novak is 🐐 ...
as a player i would refuse to answer so jewish people
thats ugly man. what a shame
