      She is grand slam finalist, because when she was on her prime, she was able to outsmart a lot of her opponents. Although her serves and ball tosses were worst on WTA tour, she was able to those weak serves to a full potential. She made up for her weak serves with excellent performance and smart play.

      Well, you can laugh at her game, but she proved herself in a way.
      She made the QF of Australian Open, SF (and another QF) at US Open and then a Final, SF and 2QF at the French Open four years in a row. She also made the QF or better at EVERY single WTA 1000 event.

      @SomeoneYouKnow2671 Рік тому +1

      @@gabrielametodieva8360 Stop talking shit, man. "How is is it possible to be top 100 with this forehand?" You partly answered your own question afterwards: It's annoying, it throws you off. It's difficult to return because people don't usually train for that. And lastly, you can get a surprising amount of pace on the ball, especially if it's hit from high above net height (basically a given since almost everybody else hits heavy topspin).
      In short - she'd take apart lower-level players, which is why she has that ranking.

    • @pierdomenicosommati443
      @pierdomenicosommati443 Рік тому +4

      On her good days, her backhand was good just because she hit it very much on the rise. But she had very bad feel on the ball, and actually, her lack of feeling on the two-handed shot (her backspin was not bad) was the only motivation behind her decision of trying to fix it by taking the ball so early. A very arguable decision il my opinion. It was just the same decision taken by Stosur, who plays a very bad two-hander as well.
      I'm quite convinced that this thing badly spoiled her career. Maybe, she should better have chosen playing the one-handed backhand instead, given that she shows good feel with the few slice backhands she plays. She just had not enough sensibility with two hands.

      I agree with you I've watched your matches the last few tournaments will just on UA-cam you know and she doesn't scream anymore she's quiet I don't know if she decided that she can win without it or if she decided that she didn't want to be the most hated woman on tour anymore

  • @loseweightusingketo

    Niculescu's forehand looks like what happens if Rafa decides to hit a gentle buggy whip forehand instead of topspin forehand.

    i think backhand should be Stosur lol

    • @pierdomenicosommati443
      @pierdomenicosommati443 Рік тому +1

      That's terrible LOL
      Stosur and Ivanovic actually had analogue backhands troubles, and they both tried to fix this problem by hitting it very aggressively on the rise, but their lack of feeling with two-handed shots remained just very obvious, and in Stosur game this problem was even worse than Ivanovic's. Sam hits a totally rigid two-hander, quite painful to watch something like that at professional level.

    Errani, Ivanovic, Sabalenka and Kvitova (a Wimbledon champion) were all ranked in top5.
    I don't really know what this video is about.
    Just taking some random match doesn't describe the full potential and the career of a player.
