A Conversation About Health Equity, featuring Bill de Blasio

In February 2023, students, alumni, and faculty gathered at the Puck Building to join former NYC Mayor and NYU Marnold Fellow, Bill de Blasio, for a conversation on health equity. Wagner alumnus, Moses Mansu (MPA 2000), of NYU Langone led the discussion followed by an audience Q&A and reception.
Dialogue centered on the vitality of mainstreaming mental health services into our public systems, expanding educational pathways for communities of color to enter healthcare professions, and strengthening healthcare coverage for our retired public servants.
This was also a special opportunity for our Online Master of Health Administration (MHA) students to meet in-person as part of their multi-day immersion in NYC-a critical and cherish piece of the MHA curriculum in which students connect with their cohort and professors as well as hone skills in health communication, leadership, and evidence-based management.
