@@McIntyresMalts I’ve not ventured much into Irish whiskey, so need to broaden my horizons there: but I am hoping to do the same with Aussie whiskies and distillers since arriving earlier this year.
@@IainBruce83 Ah, I'm on the other side of the Country. How is the whisky scene over there? Let me know if you need any recommendations or guidance on Aussie whisky 😉
Hey wade!!!! I loved the redbreast 12 was fantastic!!!! Can only imagine Cask Strength!!!!! Sounded like all the Flavs I love in a whiskey!!!! Always comment and like!!!!👍🏻
Glad to have you here 🥃 Yes, this is the Stolzle Glass and one of my favourites! How the heck can you have this on the shelf for 2yrs and you’ve never tried it 🤯 If and when I’m able to get this one I might even open it in the car!! Just kidding but as soon as I walk in the door!!!
YES! Just from the intro...you go! How can this be on your shelf for years and you not open it? Come on Wade! Cheers!
Haha I know, I am ashamed of myself 😔
I agree with Peter
@@troyconnolly907 I think it was mainly because I wasn't impressed with the standard 12 that it fell off my radar. I now know better 🥃
For me the water enhances this too and rounds everything off. Great whisky
Agreed! Needs some water to bring it to it's fullest potential.
I’ve only tried Redbreast during this year’s WhiskyLive in Perth. Found them to be very good, even with the lower ABV.
I liked the 15, but was so so on the 12, but this one I can get down with!

@@IainBruce83 Welcome my friend! Where in Aus are you located now?
@@McIntyresMalts cheers Wade. I’m located North of Perth.

I had the same with the 12 y, it was nice enough but it didn't impress me much; seeing this video I have to try the cask strength now 🥃
World's apart between the 12 and the 12 CS, considering there is a 17%+ increase in ABV it is night and day difference

This one is a winner for sure! Appreciate the support my friend 🙌
This is my favorite whiskey. Period.
Definitely a contender 💪💪
You should definitely get the 15. I’m looking out for their limited release Missouri Oak and hoping it’s not highly priced
I liked the 15 over the standard 12, but this CS 12 is better than the 15 again I think. They make some lovely whiskey!
Irish always do it the best
They did no wrong on this one that's for sure!
Cheers Sam 🥃
For me it's impossible to have an unopened whisky on my shelve for 2 days 😅
haha the desire to open all my bottles is only beaten by the desire to not have all my bottles go flat before I can drink them at their best 😉
I just discovered your channel. Nice video. Btw that’s a beautiful nosing glass, do you know know where to get it? Thanks.
Glad to have you here 🥃

Pound for pound one of the best Irish whiskeys on the market.
Solid isn't it!
Caramel color and flavor added
Flavour added?
There seems to be a strong consensus that it's both natural colour and unchillfiltered
The cask strength version is non-chill filtered and no color added.

The challenge of having a reasonable size collection and only so much time and alcohol I can drink lol
