  • My new friend Bruce came to town to doing some flying with us. He has climbed Everest, donated part of his liver and then purchased a new Carbon Cub FX3! He's had it for three months. He no stranger to aviation as a retired United Airlines Captain of 20 years. You could say he's got a little time in the air! We spent two days flying around here and the content is pretty darn good if I do say so myself. My buddy Bill joined us as well and I have so much content now I made two videos from it. This first one is around the local watering holes and into the Sierra country.
Day two is in the high alpine of Northern Nevada. Make certain to subscribe if you like this video and hit the notification button so you don't miss future episodes.
These aircraft are #CarbonCubs equipped to fly just about anywhere. We are using the #insta360cam and a #GoPro or two.
I hope you find the videos entertaining. They sure a fun to make. It has become a fun hobby.
Anyhow, sit back and relax and enjoy. Its so much better on the big screen!
Please leave me a comment on what you did or did not like. I am really enjoying making these videos and hope your are enjoying them as well.
Thats all from me for now.
    Thank you for watching!
    Share it if you like!
Have a good day! Go flying or find someone to take you!

I love how calm the water is and you can see the fog clear on the first landing. 👍

Kevin love the videos,i read your post to inspire pilots to be better and what's happening is unacceptable but i think if you want to put a call out and lead then you need to start with leading with example.when talking about prep and saftey i think in every video you should film and go through the safety briefings and planning that you go through to fly mountainous areas, landing on gravel bars, flying through canyons,if you want people to learn and be better not get into these silly like altering situations then who better to learn from than yourself and see what it is you preach before going up to fly and enjoy these experience.this is my 2cents i hope its helpfull.you and a couple of others are at the forefront of youtube aviation as influencers you can achieve alot

Stampede, Boca, Frenchman, my old stomping grounds growing up in Sparks, NV. Probably before most of you were born. Unfortunately bush planes were not around then, I had to be happy with watching Air Force and Air National Guard flying in and out of Reno and Stead.

Lord help me I love it. Kevin I don't know if it is possible but if you could set that over the shoulder camera so we could see your hand on the stick it would be great. If you are not an instructor you should be. I have heard you say "power and energy management" so many times in your videos it is stuck in my head. I am they guy that was over the moon in the comments on your sunset video, you offered to take me flying. I am getting ready to send a long winded email to you, hope you have time to read it. "Arch Stanton" will be in the subject line.

At 7:30 was that plane running with nobody at the controls. If so that is risky.Climbing in and out of a CUB there is a good chance you could move something and cause a issue. I saw a Cessna 185 amphib going across the ramp without the pilot in it. it was not a pretty sight nor did it end well.
