* Clone Hero is made in Unity. There isn't even an install for the game
* Clone Hero loads FAST and can import new songs (while the game is open) in under 30 seconds
* Upgraded game engine, graphics, animations, and more
* Mods for songs! Speed songs up as high as 5000% faster than normal (!!), make songs all tap notes, or even all strums depending on the challenge you want
* Full search engine in game to find the song you want fast
* Local multiplayer with online possibly in the future

Hey Jason, What are your calibration settings for Clone Hero? Do you use vsync at all?
So far, on my personal PC/monitor setup, 100ms Audio and 0 video seems to be the way to go. Adjust from there if needed. I've had the best experience with Vsync off and capping the framerate to 200. Let me know how that works if you try it. :)

You can disable animations on flames and particles at the bottom for sure. Not sure about the star power effects.
