Awesome! Love watching you fellas show, swap and trade. Wish I could remember a fourth of what y’all know about knives! Happy Birthday Mr. Wade! God Bless All You Fellas and Your Families!
@@theknifedoctor I think it’s in the mail today. It sat in Atlanta for a few days then wound up in Minnesota 😂. It’s taking a tour of America it seems.
You guys totally get the spirit of exchanging gear and comrades. It is a very important custom and practice in so many countries including Nordic countries. Knives brought me to this civilized channel. Your accents are growing on me...good place to relocate to..lower cost of livin'.
Maybe my favorite thing of your posts!!! Used to go to a home town restaurant place before night fishing in the country, and it burn't down!!! haven't been there in years to see what is going on now!!!
You guys showed off some awesome knives there! Love that New Caledonia dagger. Those are some wicked cool automatics too, especially the Meyerco X-Ray and the old Schrade Waldens!
Hey there Kev! sure looks like fun what ya all are doing wish I could join!! Say that Pat. NO. on that Western fixed blade knife was for their hollow tang design where the leather disks slid on with the slot in them. the date is when it was in effect till it would exspire.
Wow amazing video! I wanna send the best of wishes to Mr Wade for his birthday! These videos are my favorite to watch they do my heart good! I wish I had a couple good friends like y'all to sit and talk knives with lol I'd take just one friend like that! Maybe one day but until then I'm making y'all my honorary knife buddies! God bless you all and your families!
My brother had gathered all his knife pins that he has been collecting through the years and put them together in a shadowbox… ( Deep picture frame) … it’s right next to another shadowbox with some small knives like the LB 1 ( schrade) and Spyderco cricket. I have wanted to do something of the same.. I was dumpster diving at a building that was closing up a dozen years ago and came across a lot of glass, enclosed bulletin boards… only thing was they are all busted up in some form or other.. I said to myself maybe when I retire I’ll put all this together and get two good ones out of the deal… retirement was eight years ago lol..
Just an excellent video Kevin. Good to have friends to get together with with a common interest. Question for you, that military knife by Kinfolks did that have a leather handle? I have some no name stainlees steel knife from brazil, a fix blade and it has plastic scales one is broken. It has a nice full tang that I think I could adapt to a leather handle like they have on some of the Estwing hammers and hatchets. Would a leather handle like that work out okay? Thanks for any comment.
That puma was awsome I got a 1968 puma skinner still in the box never been used or sharpened still has the temper sticker on the blade they go for 300 on ebay beat up without the box
That Case mini butcher knife looks a lot like the Russell Green River mountain man knife.

Hope Lamar goes to the ULU factory in Anchorage, I went a little extreme and got 15 which was not in my carry on. They would have not made it home if I had! The best ones I saw were at the Alaska Visitors Center. Mine was made with fossilized mammoth bone, they use a lot of different materials. They have website.
"Il s'agit de l'un des couteaux de 6 pouces que l'armée américaine a achetés en 1942, avant de passer au M3. Il y avait six fabricants : Kinfolks, Queen, Williams, Case, Ka-bar et PAL. . Gaine marquée Kinfolks correcte, état légèrement aiguisé, protection et rondelles en cuir très serrées."
I’m somewhat new to your channel and really enjoy your videos and your willingness to speak about Jesus to your audience. I heard you mention you have a new knife shop, where is this shop as I would like to support you in the future
No, he just loves to come and add comments every now and then. He was once my Supervisor in the National Park Service. Mine and Wade’s Supervisor. He loves knives and we love him.
Jay…did you not see me hand military medals to Eric in very beginning of the video? Don’t be negative man. I also gave some stuff to Lamar at the vehicles before he left. Let us worry about us…OK?
It’s going for my Uncle’s Tribute in my new Knife Shop. He was killed in WW2. He drove a Sherman tank in the 37th Tank Battalion. Plus, we’re all Brothers in Arms!! Thanks for watching and I hope you understand now.
Eric should make his own channel , his knowledge about his subject is very interesting.
Second that! The stuff he shows in these videos is incredible! He seems to have the same taste as me! lol
Happy Birthday Wade!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊🤠🐬🎂

They have to pay licensing fee's to spyderco for the circle, they used to have a oval shape on the griptillians.
Anyone know where I can get a plain USCG K-bar?
Not sure.
