This was approx 7 years ago. I can tell the difference in verbal delivery from then compared to now. Your presentation verbal delivery is much better now in 2019 / 2020. But we all had to start somewhere.
I sat in a 2013 f350 crew cab today and I gotta say it's huge! Inside and outside, you weren't kidding when you said great commanding view of the road lol ;)
Well, this particular truck does not have a front independent suspension, you are correct. The 4x2 F-250 and F-350 has the independent front suspension. Our mistake :)
Actually I like the idea of push button start because then you don't have to be bothered by your keys dangling down from the column. Hope my next truck has it.
I took it on a road trip (camping) right after I left the dealership Friday. I will tell you, the 6.7 Diesel is amazing. The power is incredible (800 ft lbs torque) and it'll break the tires loose. The throttle is way touchy, feels like you're driving a Mustang GT. And for those who haven't heard the new Diesels, it's mind-blowing, it sounds like a Buick rather than a Diesel, its so quiet. And it starts right up, no waiting a few seconds in cold weather for the plugs to heat. Great truck so far.
Would be nice if he told us what was new with these trucks. Most people buying a new SD need you to tell us about truck configurations that have been around since 1999
I bought one this past Friday Josh. I thought about buying used but didn't find any I liked in a color that I like. Nearly all of the ones I looked at were White or Black, and I didn't want White because it's too hard to clean, and Black isn't a good choice here in Texas because it's so frigging hot. Ended up with a 350 Superduty Diesel, 4x4, 8 foot bed in a new color called Ruby Red. Was able to get them down 9k from the sticker of $62k, but after a few add ons and taxes, ran back up to $64k
I remember seeing this at an auto show about 10 years ago when I was a kid. I think I only came up to the fender well. Lol this truck is freaking massive!
This is a GREAT review! The Range Rover from awhile back and this review are definitely my favorites. This super duty makes my Suburban look tiny in comparison haha.
The head gaskets are stronger than the 6.0 but only because of less boost. If you time it and get over 30 to 35 psi your at risk there. The injectors although run on a better system, are prone to failure. They don't like cold starts provided you live where it gets cold. But otherwise there is minor problems as with every vehicle. But they are just as reliable as the 12 valve 5.9 cummins ever was.
It's not an insult. It's a nickname that's well known among people that watch videos made by 1puglife because he drives a F250 and he calls it Big Dirty. But go ahead and tell me I insulted it when you in reality have no idea of what you're talking about.
oy, I was joking on that part and Saab is no longer apart of GM btw. And I honestly dont care because GM lost my attention when they resesigned the Silverado in 2007, I was a diehard chevy fan until that day, I switched to Ford and the 6.0 let me down on the 2nd month of a new ownership, so I switched to Ram a year later and they've been the best to me ever since.
Well we don’t fuck our sisters in the bed. That’s probably the only use you’re thinking of that we don’t “take advantage” of. Get out of here with that “city guy” shit.
This thing does not have IFS(Independent Front Suspension). Its a fx4 meaning its a 4x4 with skid plates, a limited slip differential and other extras like that. Ford hasn't had IFS in a Super Duty ever if it was equipped with 4x4. Ford does use IFS in the 2 wheel drive models or the old (mid 90's and earlier) F250 4x4s. Don't want to sound like an ass but just though if someone is spending that much money on a vehicle they should know. You might be thinking of the Gm/Chevys because they use IFS in their HD trucks.
sorry when i said 8 speed i was thinking of the 1500 ya you are right 6 speed and 4:10 gearing in the rear end but no tuning nothing changed in the engine i work for dodge the engine is no different than last year.
I'm sure the mileage is better than he thinks. My 2006 F350 6.0 Diesel 4WD gets 16+ around town and 23+ on the highway. Not bad for an 8,000 pound vehicle. I'll upgrade this year to a new one but will opt for gas as the Diesel option is as he said, $8,000+, making it a $62,000 truck. Just too much for this guy.
ya but its because of the 8 speed transmission, because if you look closer the 6 speed transmission only offers 800 lb/ft and that was the 2012s transmission but the 8 speed is 850 lb/ft the 50 lb/ft comes from that transsmission because lower gearing same thing when you buy a manual lower gearing means more torque thats what the difference for 2013 their is no different tuning. love dodges but i still dont think its enough to compete because of the lacking hp.
1. He's not a kid. 2. A seat belt can sometimes be more of a burden than a safeguard when it comes to a truck that large. 3. Would you wanna be the person in the wreck who's driving that car or the person who's driving the VW Jetta? I rest my case.
I used to have a 6.0 and I had to spend about $4,000 just to get it fixed, after that it's been a great engine, I think 6.0's are only good if they're bulletproofed
hahaha dude, the extra gear does NOT give it more tq in any way shape or form. The extra gear lets you USE the extra power given by the TUNING of the engine. The way the standard works is is lets you choose the gear, the bad thing with this is the fact that you lose momentom while shifting as opposed to the automatic that shifts faster therefore they have a higher tow rating, and are faster in a hd truck.
you are still wrong my good sir. only F-150 s have independent front suspesion. nether ford or dodge wants to put ind suspension in their HD trucks because they don't believe the can hold up long term durability wise. just FYI
that's the way it should be and it shifts better that way. putting a shifter on the floor is dumb, it's takes up to much space. plus if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Are you drunk? The 6.7 ford diesel and 7.3 are both v8 engines lol. I realize your comment is old but damn maybe use Google before making fool of yourself.
The dmax still has its faults. They toast there injectors due to poor fuel filtration system. Also the heat they produce on there new designed engine is burning up the rear two pistons. Diesel performance is what I do, the d max is a decent engine, but so far were seeing less problems with fords 6.7 than any other engine right now.
fuel economy is actually very impressive in the superduty well for a diesel.
Recheck Fords website, it will tell you that 2WD F-250 and F-350 have an independent front suspension.
This was approx 7 years ago. I can tell the difference in verbal delivery from then compared to now. Your presentation verbal delivery is much better now in 2019 / 2020. But we all had to start somewhere.
It was the Lariat model yes. The F-350 Super Duty. I had to replace the radiator. It was cracked and leaking coolant. It has ran very well.
Our mistake :)
ford all the way I did like dodge but now im hooked on ford and ford has been number one truck for 35 years running
Actually I like the idea of push button start because then you don't have to be bothered by your keys dangling down from the column. Hope my next truck has it.
non americans probably think this is useless but these things haul HUGE loads. love super duties

Glad you enjoyed it :)

shut up, he ain't telling you shit.

Good review... The hard plastic dash and door trim is for easy cleaning for heavy duty use.
Fuerte con mucho caballo de fuersa domina cualquier carrete
Ra
Right? We personally do not like it when dealers put their logo on the vehicle itself, a licence plate frame is good enough in our eyes.
Really surprised he revs the crap outta the new diesel
I remember seeing this at an auto show about 10 years ago when I was a kid. I think I only came up to the fender well. Lol this truck is freaking massive!
The F-350 is the only model with the dual rear wheels. The F-250 does not have dual rear wheels.
my dad and I test drove one because he wants to buy an f550 with the 6.7 and it got 19 city and 22 highway while we were driving
Can't help but think " 'Murica" when I see this beast!
This is a GREAT review! The Range Rover from awhile back and this review are definitely my favorites. This super duty makes my Suburban look tiny in comparison haha.
The seat belt is fasten... it just blends into his shirt so you can't really see it. The truck would beep at you if the belt wasn't buckled.
I like it, I do like all trucks, but I think Fords have the best styling, I have always liked how Fords looked.
I love the new intro

I think that's the first pickup I've seen without a massive dent or scratch. Every one on the road has run into a pole or tree or both.
oy, I was joking on that part and Saab is no longer apart of GM btw. That was cool and could you try to post a Ford F450 Mini Pumper
It was the Lariat, yes. I know that Bullet Proof Parts are sold at the Dealership.
It does NOT have an INDEPENDENT FRONT SUSPENSION. The only trucks that run and IFS are GM Diesels
5th wheel puts the weight in the center of the trucks frame, as opposed to the very back allowing you to tow more
OH MY GOD, WHAT A BEAST!
the F450 also have Dual rear wheels
Basically what he said.
Love how they show a Chevy commercial on a Ford video, Chevy sucks dirty toes
id take a chevy over a dodge anyday but a ford over all :)
Id never get GM. Ford and Dodge hell yeah!
well hello old friend. its FordsAreSick11 :D and no id buy a recall gm before a inline 6
Oh my God its you man!! Hows it goin? And nah... Dodge or Toyota for me lol... but Ford always!
Dirty toes?! LOOOL
Thats awesome. I think I might go to ford tomorrow just to drive it.
that has a solid front axle, not IFS.
He did a good all around review but a city guy just cant understand what one of these trucks is really good at and its use's.
he knows what it's used for, and you can use them in the city. i live in the city and i know all about these trucks.
Well we don’t fuck our sisters in the bed. That’s probably the only use you’re thinking of that we don’t “take advantage” of. Get out of here with that “city guy” shit.
I have 4 ford trucks all super duty and let me tell ya Ford is the BEST!
The water cooler needed replacement. It did not need any other work. I thought it might have been the radiator.
lol thanks, I always thought I looked awkward driving these huge trucks haha
You misunderstand. We only make an observation that it doesn't have it. We don't think it's necessary on this type of vehicle.
Great for those working in the construction & agriculture industries
Hey is the rear-view camera display in the rear-view mirror on all models below the lariat?
it actually doesn't fuck up that easily, just like any other vehicle
This thing does not have IFS(Independent Front Suspension). Its a fx4 meaning its a 4x4 with skid plates, a limited slip differential and other extras like that. Actually they do go on fords website click build super duty use f350 and in packages you will see it
You say every truck or full size suv is massive. Duh that's why they are full size.
Whats the difference between conventional towing , and 5th wheel towing ??
Loved the video and the car
sorry when i said 8 speed i was thinking of the 1500 ya you are right 6 speed and 4:10 gearing in the rear end but no tuning nothing changed in the engine i work for dodge the engine is no different than last year.
I have a 550, the telescoping steering wheel is not new, its been around since 2011.
Id buy this truck to do what a car is for
no you don't
ya but its because of the 8 speed transmission, because if you look closer the 6 speed transmission only offers 800 lb/ft and that was the 2012s transmission but the 8 speed is 850 lb/ft the 50 lb/ft comes from that transsmission because lower gearing same thing when you buy a manual lower gearing means more torque thats what the difference for 2013 their is no different tuning. love dodges but i still dont think its enough to compete because of the lacking hp.
What's the most you typically tow? (weight wise)
Even Ram and Chevys have soft touch dash boards and thats unheard of in GM!
Love the intro
1. He's not a kid. 2. A seat belt can sometimes be more of a burden than a safeguard when it comes to a truck that large. 3. Would you wanna be the person in the wreck who's driving that car or the person who's driving the VW Jetta? I rest my case.
that grille is HUGE :0
the 4450 doesn't come standard with diesel and there's also the 550
I feel strange comfort whenever he touches and bangs the material. Is this bad?
Hey may you do a video of an excursion.
11:05 "most towing" actually goes to the Ram this year
No! I thought Chevy was part of Alfa Romeo and Saab! I was saying that all GM interiors suck if it hasnt been redesigned for 2013 and up
Ranch hand grill guard if I get one I’m putting a grill guard on it
kingranch is the only one worth buying, i have one and i love it
wow I love this sound
(Start up)
it is also a ford which means the engine will blow around 120k
A really my uncles 7.3 has 250k
+Chevy sucks 7.3's are the only ford diesel I would own.
+Jacob King 7.3's are what I call a "REAL" Powerstroke
If you want to watch how the 6.0l become junk watch 6.0l the perfect storm it was not entirely ford's fault it was Navistar.
I used to have a 6.0 and I had to spend about $4,000 just to get it fixed, after that it's been a great engine, I think 6.0's are only good if they're bulletproofed
Could you do a ford excursion ?
hahaha dude, the extra gear does NOT give it more tq in any way shape or form. The extra gear lets you USE the extra power given by the TUNING of the engine. The way the standard works is is lets you choose the gear, the bad thing with this is the fact that you lose momentom while shifting as opposed to the automatic that shifts faster therefore they have a higher tow rating, and are faster in a hd truck.
i want this truck, but i dont tow very much, and there needs to be th ZF6 back in these trucks
What is wrong with silverado duramax engines? People keep saying the Japanese technology in those sucks.
can you do a review of a dodge ram 2500 mega cab?
you are still wrong my good sir. only F-150 s have independent front suspesion. nether ford or dodge wants to put ind suspension in their HD trucks because they don't believe the can hold up long term durability wise. just FYI
best pick-up ever
the higher tow ratings come from the frame
nice truck but don't like the rear fenders
god damn that truck is huge. I wish I hadn't just bought a new car
Now, that's a truck!
can some one tell me why Ford don't do a floor shift on the super duty trucks, column shift seems so old tech
Les C i think its the way the engine make the transmission sit to far backward to make it a floor shift or something like that
that's the way it should be and it shifts better that way. putting a shifter on the floor is dumb, it's takes up to much space. plus if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Great video can this truck fit through a drive thru lol
you can't have softer touch materials in a truck if you're actually going to work with it
actualy the 6.7 cummins has a worse reputation developing than the 6.0 ford diesel had. The 5.9 was the last worry free diesel engine.
description is wrong the 2013 ram is an update this is no different then a 2011
whats the 0-60 time?
Do a ram?
what goes wrong with 7.3 if anything
How many tons can it hold ?
Not sure about the 350, but the 450 I think can hold 2.7 tons I THINK.
Is that SIRI?!
make a dodge review
60k?!?!!!
how come he is wearing women pants.
How come your being a judgemental idiotic Bigot?
How come your calling him a bigot without even thinking before you speak
He is wearing women pants....
Ciempre Ford es una familia excelent por hacer pocibble de todos tener nuestro Ford
theres not ifs on that truck
you guys put ur dealer logo in very odd places
lol "wow this thing is big" haha
get the 7.3 u will have the same reliability just with two extra cylinder
Are you drunk? The 6.7 ford diesel and 7.3 are both v8 engines lol. I realize your comment is old but damn maybe use Google before making fool of yourself.
Payload is NOT 8000lbs
