Juggernaut has always been my favorite super-villain. When a writer wanted to have the hero suffer a defeat, it seemed like Juggernaut was the go-to. One of my favorite comics had Cytorak summon Dr. Strange and Juggernaut to his realm (because they both used his relics for power). Juggernaut went on a rampage in Cytorak's realm, and Cytorak a Dr. Strange had to work together to stop him. At one point Dr. Strange remarked that Cytorak's realm was filled with beings he created just to worship him, Cytorak's response - "That is what gods do?"

If he wanted to destroy something, all he'd need to do is run straight through, and leave a quicksilver shaped hole.
Since hes unstoppable, he could just perpetually run at full speed. With the side benefit of making it near impossible to take his helmet from him.
Sadly the idea of having a guy who runs really fast, has lightning motif costume, wears red, has a mask with eye holes and an exposed mouth and chin, and can do practically anything by running fast enough, might be taken
Juggernaut can already run super sonic. He just chooses not to, because he doesn't need to. Why be in a hurry when you know nothing will stop you from getting where you're going?

To me the biggest thing would be that they could resist the demon after receiving the power. So I'm thinking why not Professor Xavier? I mean Cain's super strong telepath stepbrother sounds like a good replacement to me. Though if the demon did get influence over Xavier we would probably have a different incarnation of Onslaught.

9:07 - That is the picture of Cain from the Age of Apocalypse timeline. He became a pacifist monk at a secret hideout, out of respect to his dead brother. When Apocalypse's forces attacked the place he couldn't bring himself to use violence and he died due to a brain aneurysm.
On another note there is a What if.... ? Issue where the world is dead and only the Juggernaut lives. In that timeline the Juggernaut destroyed the X-Men in it's early stages. With no X-Men to stop them the Sentinels went rampant and poisoned the planet with a deadly radiation to stop the mutant threat. It killed everyone except for the Juggernaut.

I know because of the recent movie, a lot of people are suggesting Deadpool to be juggarnaut, but there is one good reason for making him juggarnaut. He has shown in the past that he can resist being controlled by things like the symbiote. This means he may be able to resist cyttorak's influence. The only only problem then, is you have Deadpool running around with juggarnaut power...

Here's how you "easily" un-alive the Unstoppable Juggernaut: You DON'T stop him; you find a powerful energy manipulator and you ACCELERATE him even further, until you come so close to the speed of light that he becomes pure energy. Even if he slows down after that, he's gone, you don't come back from having all your atoms burst into energy.

As far as I'm concerned, that character wasn't ever even conceived of.
Burn1none, he wouldn't technically stop. He would carry on going forwards, but forwards would always be a path to the center. Look up past/future cones if you're interested. Also, someone else who was talking about turning him into energy by accelerating him to near lightspeed, that's not how special relativity works. He would acquire kinetic energy, yes, but that would just be in the form of relativistic mass, which would then make a contribution to his relativistic momentum; he would become even harder to stop. When he slowed down, he wouldn't have changed at all (although he'd probably be several millennia in the future with little ability to get back to earth.).

What annoys me about The once a future Juggernaut story is that the writer had no idea about Cyttorak but still was allowed to write the plot. First of all, even if Juggernaut gets the full potential of the gem it would never have the power to kill Cyttorak itself. The gem is embedded with only 1/8 of just the physical aspect of Cyttorak, that is to say, no matter if the one carrying the power of Juggernaut gets access to the majority of that 1/8 and starts wrecking entire dimensions and the space-time continuum, It would still be just a fraction of a single aspect of Cyttorak. Secondly, it is stated that Cain Marko after getting back the powers of the Juggernaut was stronger than ever, which is not really true, both 8th day Juggernaut and Trion Juggernaut have proven to be way stronger. For example, 8th day Juggernaut was able to defeat the other 7 exemplars by himself, each one stronger than Thor, and one of them had much stronger telepathic abilities than Xavier, but Juggernaut was so powerful at that point that even that couldn't stop him.
Long story short, writers should put their shit together and investigate a little before doing anything because they create these stupid inconsistencies.

Good choice. Most just pick a redundantly strong or durable hero. Hulk? Like, why? All that is is stupid version of the existing Juggernaut. I think hulk is mind control proof, so that's all the hulk has to offer.

Two good options for alternate Juggernauts: The Blob and Quicksilver. The Blob would become "The Blubbernaut" who is unmovable while stationary and unstoppable while moving. Quicksilver's super agility meanwhile becomes augmented with unstoppable momentum, making him difficult to catch and nearly impossible to contain.

To take on the Juggernaut's power I would say Luke Cage, because he is already has the Invulnerability, and you add on to that you just get the most invincible guy ever. Or perhaps Darwin would also be a weird and cool mix.

There was a what if that had Professor X as the Juggernaut and he effectively took over the world. Eventually they got him into non gravity and used his momentum against him. They got him moving into space and "nothing stops the juggernaut... and nothing ever will..." (as he floats into nothingness)

i Believe that Juggernaut is so powerful that they need to use ridiculous ways to get rid of him, sending him to other dimension or to the space is the most used, but for what i read someone with the power of Juggernaut can even manipulate magic poweful enoough to defeat characters like Eternity, Dr. Strange, and Nigthmare. so someone who can use the power of the Gem in more aspects than physical power could be a universe threat. In a Comic the demon D'spyre got control over the Cyttorak Gem and he stated that he was able to command the very fabric of space(the power to control the whole universe). someone with the ability to use the true potential of the gem(which is just a fraction of the Crimson cosmos's power) is clearly on a cosmic scale

Chef Dean not sure about kitty pride / those powers, but interesting tangent regarding quantum and jugg powers. some physics breakdown: for something to be "unstoppable", would require an infinite / limitless amount of momentum. classical mechanics says momentum p is (exponentially) proportional to energy E: p = m*v, E= p^2 / 2m . relativity shows you cannot have infinite speed, so v cannot go greater than speed of light, and the faster you try to go, the more mass you gain to "slow" you down below c. point being, jugg physically has infinite momentum ~ infinite energy ~ infinite mass at his disposal. but cannot exceed speed of light (unless causality and time travel are to be considered...)
adding quantum mechanical elements, definitely makes things interesting. instead of jugg being required to exist in one location, he could be spread out as a field of probability waves, only popping into and out of existence almost anywhere.
so jugg could teleport and time travel and be fragmented in many ways throughout universe

I would pick Leech. Could you imaging trying to stop the Juggernaut with everything you have before he reaches you, only to be turned into a normal human once he does..
He is not saying use Leech to kill Juggernaut. He is saying if you could pick someone to give those powers too he would pick Leech.
I mean that I would give Leech's powers to Juggernaut. I always thought though that his powers block any kind of mutation or magic etc as it blocks the pathways in the victims brain? Maybe I'm wrong on that, but my initial thought was anyone trying to kill the Juggernaut would just have their abilities taken away once he got close enough.

Is there no superhero that has some kind of a portal gun? You know, the ‘infinitely falling’ scenario? Doesn’t matter how strong or fast or tough someone is, if they can’t stop falling, it won’t matter.

I would give the gem to gem of Cytorrak to the Sentry/Void. Think about it. As Rob stated, the Sentry can't die, ever. He's already more powerful than many of Marvel's other superstrong characters, and is capable of feats that even the Juggernaut wouldn't be able to match. So yes, Sentry juggernaut is my choice; as it would create an unstoppable monster.

Potentially, it's up unclear to me as to whether or not the Void is the Sentry or if they are different people.
He doesn't need The gem of Cyttorak. The Void is a Deus Ex Machina in itself.

Kill is not synonymous with defeat in any way. The point of this video was ways to kill Juggernaut. There's thousands of ways to trap him but killing him is the challenge.
Juggernaut would likely survive. His durability is magical. He has even survived the cosmic being Oblivion. Oblivion is a brother to Eternity and represents the void from which everything came.
Brenn Tantor Dr.Strange could separate him from the demon and then teleport the item to another dimension completely and then by done that way.
I mean a ramp? Just ramp him into space once he's at crazy high speed? I mean the atmosphere can't stop him so he'd just go, and then he's no longer an issue

Although this does seem like a great idea, I fear that even just suggesting this to Cyrorak might result in the immediate elimination of both Squirrel Girl and Tippy Toes for wasting his time..
