Well the answer depends, but if you work on a lot of different projects that share a common starting point, like say for example how I’m creating multiple internet of things boards and modules that all have some parts in common like the ESP32 processor, the VoltLink connector for programming the boards as well as a few other bits and pieces like decoupling capacitors, pull-up resistors, mounting holes, fiducials, board config, schematic config and the list can go on and on depending on the particular setup that you are running and the projects that you are building.

Your first option in this case is to start over, with every single project and manually add your ESP32, the Voltlink connector, manually assign names to all of the wires, annotate the schematic, assign footprints, move to board editor, edit standard net class, input varioust track and via sizes and so on but that can take anywhere from 15-20 mins up to a couple of hours depending on how complex your project is and how much stuff it shares with previous projects, at least that’s what I’ve noticed in my experience.
The second option is to just copy and paste a previous project and use that as a starting point, then open the newly created copy and start deleting the stuff that you don’t need and I’ve used to do that to save time but your still wasting time for deleting the unwanted stuff in both schematic and board editor as well as for editing any project related configuration in the schematic or board editor.
The third option and the most elegant one is to create a template. Kicad supports templates, it even comes with a few built-in ones for some popular projects and it’s quite easy to create and use them and if you have any kind of workflow that resembles mine, it can really save you time on each new project that you create - Наука та технологія

Make a video about kiKit, it makes creating panels so so so much easier. Also it doesn't require any extra piece of software installation, it is a kicad plugin so everything is done in kicad itself.
I searched for tutorials video of kikit on UA-cam but cannot find so I read the whole documentation and got it to work.

Good tutorial! Is there a public repository of templates somwhere?
I have not seen one so far but seems like a good idea.
I plan to stack some PCB with only Mounting holes and 1 or 2 bridging connectors between the PCBs , can I create such a template from the PCB I drafted ? , Can I modify a drafted PCB and save it as a template ?
Curiosity question, can we add multiple templates ? Like I have my power section, display section, gsm section and so on! So it’s annoying to redo or copy paste things .. but then can we add multiple to a single one ? Is that possible?
Nope! That is not the purpose of the template functionality.
Is there in V6 some possibility to import multiple templates (or patterns) into my project? I mean I have power supply in one project (schematic and board layout), esp32 in another project, display module in another, and so on. Is there a way to import such things into my project including board layout? I have prepared some such parts, I am able to import schematic, but then I have to make board layout of everything again.
A template is like a project so importing multiple ones would mean overwriting the previous one each time so you can't do that. What you need might be doable with copy/paste function.
@@voltlog Copy and paste copies only schematic, right? It won't copy pcb layout as well, right? At least in V5 it wouldn't work, I copied schematic, but I had to do pcb layout for that part again.
They are a problem. To use them you have to go through extra steps. I consider them a waste of time and make my own.
