It would be nice to compare HRV with various sleep stages charted against breath rate, depth, Oxygen saturation and brain waves. A cross check with meditators and yogic sleep practitioners. Sleep in many ways could be natural meditation and even closest to death. Sleep could be the most important indicator in future days due to shift in Time factor variations (Mind) than body (Space) in social life with technology advances. @@AGILISFPV Yeah. IME having the exhale a little longer feels better as well. I'm a bit obsessed about this lol and I go off of a teacher named Forrest Knutson who models a breathing technique after Gervitz's work. I've also had periods where I tried to hard on the exhale, or elongating the breath generally, and ended up getting more tense so it's worth spending time with different breathing patterns, accentuating different bits of advice, and trying stuff out to see what works for you and what doesn't.
