old seal ring is the one thing you never want to forget, I missed one on my mustang this year and boy did that make a mess, wont Ever miss one again after that
Hi Jason. Wow, what memories. I used to work at a Motorcycle shop in the late '80's and I did hundreds of oil changes, tires, Tune ups, ect. I miss those days, lol. I love your Ducati. I figure If I ever get another bike it'll be something similar. That Remus exhaust sounds awesome. ttyl -Drew
Thanks Drew! That's cool you used to wrench on bikes...this VERY tired old bike has a good story that I'll try to get on video soon. Getting cold out here so my new 5AM commute may be more in my Jeep!
autoedit I know what you mean. It's 18° here with blustery winds. lol. It looks like Winter came early to the midwest. lol. Have a good one Jason. -Drew
Love this kind of video! Didn't know you also ride motorcycles, it would be interesting to see more videos of your motorcycle. Keep the good work man, love your videos!
Nice work, thanks for featuring it! She sounds great and it sounds like you know the bike very well with the amount of riding you do. Looking forward to seeing the onboard action. Have you replaced the belts?
I see you know your Ducatis...The bike is due to have the belts replaced soon! It had been really used up before I got the thing and just try to keep it on the road and enjoy it at this point.
autoedit Thats what you gotta do I love cars and working on cars but bikes have become and all out addiction to me over the last couple of years. And btw the duc sounds awesome.
The idea is by having it warm it drains easier and faster, doing it yourself you can let it sit and drain a little longer, also if you run full synthetic oil, the oil is less viscous while cold compared to dino oil. In my mustang I move it out of the garage on to the drive way, by the time I get it jacked up its pretty cool when it comes out. I also rather not burn myself on hot exhaust which on this bike seems very likely.
Ha! Awesome spot...I was wondering if anyone would notice that one. I am really looking forward to getting that thing on the Mustang engine this winter! Thanks for winning!!!!
+Jorge mendonça So far, this bike has really been reliable as a commuter bike and fairly comfortable. Other than oil changes, it hasn't needed any other repairs. Thanks for checking it out!

Thx for this nice instruction and your workhorse sounds killer! I’cant wait to fire my 900 ie up in 2 days. First time after the f&§%ing winter ;)
Thank you for checking this out and enjoy that awesome bike of yours!
I thought it was wise (on cars at-least) to have the engine at-least warm to change the oil so its a lot less viscous
Yes, a good idea...but I would not say anything gets hurt by doing an oil change.

I dont know why I am watching this but it is interesting
Well, I'm glad you're here and thanks for leaving a nice comment. Gets ugly here on the internets.
hello, great video, one question, what handlebar is that?
Wow, does sound like a monster. You still have the bike? If so, how come you haven't done any videos on it at all?
What opinion do you have about the Bike ? Any problem ? All day use ?
Thanks and nice rides

It's best to change the oil when the bike is warm.
I feel like I've seen this bike somewhere. Any chance you want to work on a ram?
blower!! yeahh buddyy!!... awesome
put some k&n pod filters on that beast. I did on mine and it sounds titties
