As an rs3 player, something i like about osrs is the simplicity of it, it dont take long time to figure out the user interface, u dont got drakes, bikinis, treasure hunter and particles wherever you go. Sure it may not have all the quality of life updates but thats also a part of it that makes it nostalgic and a version of the game many of us in rs3 fell in love with when we first started playing in 2007 or 2008 ish. At low levels run energy is a limited resources on RS3. But you go spend ~8 hours to get ~50 agility and suddenly you don't have to worry about it any more. It's like unlocking a permanent upgrade for your account.
(Unless you're an avid clue hunter, in which case you will need to go get a really high arch level and unlock the unlimited run relic)

As an Old School player, I've never had an issue with RS3. The quality of life, easier xp, complex combat stystem, minigames, and even the mtx, none of them have ever bothered me. I played RS3 for many years after Old School was released. The thing that ultimately drove me away from the game wasn't the game itself, it was the player base. And i'm not talking about toxicity, I'm talking about how every other player that I ever saw was maxed out. I never did any of the minigames, bosses, or any of those types of things that made xp faster in the game and I still enjoyed playing it. But after having put all of that grind and time into my skills, to see half of the other players with all 120's or 99...it just made my effort seem pointless. I didn't switch to Old School right away, I just took a break from RS3 for a while until I saw that OSRS mobile had come out, so I decided to try it. Then I discovered ironman mode...then ultimate ironman mode...and now I'm addicted to it. At the end of the day, RS3 just wasn't the type of game that I enjoyed playing anymore. Is that a bad thing? No ,of course not, because my opinion isn't the only one that matters. Hell, when I try to get friends into Runescape, I actually tell them to play RS3 because it's more noob friendly. Then, if they didn't like it, maybe give Old School a shot.

I quit RS3 for good a few years ago and thought I was fully committed to osrs but as I'm getting close to maxing and end game content I'm realizing that the pvm in old school leaves a lot to be desired. It's about prayer flicking and gear switching, which is fine, but it's not great compard to vorago or araxxor or solo nex, and I know RS3 has even more complex and challenging bosses than that now. For anyone who hasn't done late game pvm in RS3 and is used to old school bosses there really is no comparison.

  • @faitooo
    @faitooo 3 роки тому +36

One of the main issues that I've seen OSRS players having with RS3 is the interface as it seems overwhelming. There is an option for Legacy Interface which essentially gives you the OSRS interface. With regards to the RS3 customisable interface, it does seem overwhelming at first, however if you spend 5 mins looking into it, it genuinely does improve quality of life so much. Being able to have your backpack, as well as your prayers, as well as your worn equipment tabs open all at the same time just saves loads of hassle when PVMing and questing for example. One of the things mentioned in the video which I think should have been emphasised even further is presets. I cannot imagine playing this game without presets now, especially for bosses like Nex where you need to have two different setups, one for getting to the boss lobby and then one for fighting Nex. In a game with so many different skills and combat setups that require so many different inventories, the amount of time saved being able to load a preset rather than having to click on each item in the bank individually is ridiculous. My last point is abilities. I see loads of people complaining about there being too many abilities which will take too long to learn, however you won't really need to know the exact use of each ability until you start bossing, and you will have plenty of time to learn the use of all the abilities while training your combat stats to get to the levels that you need in order to do the bosses. Just hovering over the abilities tells you what they do and it's pretty simple to gauge whether the ability will be useful or not. For early game, just set your combat style to revolution so your abilities auto-queue and from there you will see what each ability does and can learn it passively.

hello, i am fairly new to rs3 but in OSRS the complexity of the combat comes not from the boss mechanics but how you abuse the tick system to kill stuff faster. For example people can kill graardor in OSRS and get many many more kills per trip by standing in a certain spot that aligns the attacks from the other mobs and then prayer flicking perfectly to take almost zero damage. Though more recently with newer bosses they are basically trying to copy RS3 bosses. Nex: AoD is in Oldschool as a boss called "the nightmare". Same fight basically.
Also the difficulty curve comes with how quickly and precisely you can click because you can't keybind prayers or anything. This was actually something I loved about RS3. Being able to keybind prayers is like such a major change from old school it's insane. You wouldn't think it would be so big but it literally changes the entire experience.

    • @amayesingnathan
      @amayesingnathan 4 роки тому

For me personally when the complexity of combat comes from how well you can abuse the tick system and how effectively you can click precisely and fast, it just becomes so unfun to me.
Like sure you can master it but you're having to master precise clicking to gain the slightest advantage, but because of how the combat system works being so balanced that slight advantage is essential otherwise you're gonna lose every PvP fight.
On top of that RS3 has elements of that, just look at Maikeru's 0 second Graardor kill. There's the same abusing of the tick system there's just other factors that make combat more interesting without that. And then being able to do that stuff puts you in the very very upper echelons of skill.

Dodging attacks, timing attacks, planning inventory and gear, timing special attacks, movement during fights, freezing adds, boss special attacks, learning boss attack patterns, controlling Your hp to mini s damage from certain group targeting abilities, etc.

Played OG scape for a long time as a kid to a teen. Enjoyed it, had friends who played, was a good time but didn't know what I was doing.
Eoc came out, 90% of the people I knew, including myself, quit.
Tried osrs when it came out. Couldn't stand it.
It was so slow, so tedious, everything took so long, nothing felt like an accomplishment. I was never invested because I was always staring at my run energy being at zero. Skills took ages to level up and rarely gave rewarding stuff. People advised to do Waterfall Quest. To skip the grind? Then what else does the game have? How are you making your own adventure if you're following a certain way to play?
Quit osrs, then three days ago figured "Why not see how Runescape is doing?".
Installed it, did the starting tasks in Burthorpe, did a couple of starting quests. It feels like it's caught up to every other MMO as far as quality of life goes. At least for the most part. Mining was a joy. Random double ore, random insta ores, access to a lot of mine spots a stone's throw away from a bank and forge. Didn't even need a bank because the bronze box let's you fill it with copper and tin ore up to a stack of 100. Then I find out as you level up the bronze box gets more capacity. A little too late because by that point I was looking at iron stuff, but still nice.
Daily challenges, achievements, way more intractable npc's and quests. The game does have a lot of stuff in it, to the point the actual game world can seem stuffy. You can't take 15 steps without running into another intractable, but I'll take that over running long distances for the sake of running.
The interface is just standard MMO fare, I can't really see what's wrong with it. The amount of direction in Osrs is way more of a confusing turn off for me. People say "Do the quests". OK, but why would I not just do them in Runescape where there are more quests with more variety, voice acting, humour, rewards?
They released group iron-man in osrs last year, or the year before? People made new accounts to experience it. What? All the time you spent playing the game, you're just gonna reset and do it again? I can't get behind that mentality, I'd feel bad for spending so much time on doing the same stuff.

Couple of things. As others have mentioned, tool leprechaun and stamina pots. But moreover, the reason grinding in osrs is so nice, is exemplified perfectly by agility or construction. At level 1 agility, your run takes ages to regenerate and you feel like you can only run for a few seconds before it's out. Leveling up agility GREATLY improves this. It gives an incentive to grind, cause the reward is so huge. Same with construction, it's essentially like leveling up the "QoL" in the game cause you get access to stat restores, teleports, spellbook swapping and so on. You mentioned that you could not imagine grinding a boring skill to 99 just for the 99, and that is the main difference between us; you grind for the 99, we grind for everything it unlocks.

Loadstones is one of the worst updates ever. Getting your magic up to get around was a reward in itself. Loadstones made teleports obsolete, it made the teleports in your house obsolete, it makes the teleports you get from quests, diaries,... obsolete.
Same thing with run energy btw. The fact you can restore your run energy without any trouble makes potions that restore it obsolete, in OSRS you can get full graceful, potions, you can restore your run energy in your house.
In OSRS you have to make an effort to earn small benefits and all of it is rewarding. You'll have many of these benefits mid game and it makes the path towards the end game that more fulfilling.

In OSRS, the fact that it takes longer to level means that you feel as if you're progressing for more of the time you play. This is important to me, since I felt a lot of my drive to play disappear once I 99ed combat related skills in RS3. Then there's the fact that RS3 is built on top of so much dead content, like minigames, much of which is still alive and well in OSRS. Now, I was already established when they came out in OSRS, but it definitely feels like it's easier fund a bond in OSRS than it is in RS3 and that's as someone who never learned Zulrah and still hasn't done Dragon Slayer 2.

Well screw you when the next expansion hits, it's a full reset and you can start all over again. Fuck that! Reputation your grinded means nothing, gear is basically throw away. I really hate that aspect. RS3 has so much more to offer and your progress is never lost unlike that from wow. Skilling is a joke in wow compared to Runescape (either game). Honestly this is a good point. PvM is undoubtedly better in RS3 than OSRS so if you're going to be playing RS and want to pursue Bosses, RS3 is the "right" choice, but the nature of Runescape in general means larger budget AAA MMORPGs offer a significantly better experience if that's what you're after. That grinding makes the end result more satisfying is an argument that could be made for halving the XP gain rate in OSRS, which would be boring as fuck.

The most common reason I see people disliking OSRS is because of the ‘grinds’ as you mentioned, and there’s a reason most of it’s player base are much older than the average new age MMO. We grew up with games being grindy, plowing a lot of hours into something to get achievements.
Nowadays, most people want things fast, and at their fingertips - not just for gaming, for most things in life. Games like RS3 appeal so much more to new players because they don’t appreciate what it was like originally before all this technology and everything being available with very little patience or effort. That’s not a negative comment to make on those who choose to play RS3, just an observation. Either way, we’re all having fun so who really cares.

  • @3freezeen
    @3freezeen 4 роки тому +10

    1. The high xp rates and ubiquitous lamps devalue skills. It is nothing big of an achievement to get max cape in rs3 whereas it is a very high achievement in osrs.
2.Predatory Mtx in rs3 cheapens the game a whole lot, giving it a greedy money-squeezing mobile game vibe. You are always reminded of the mtx, every day you are told to buy more with real money. You cannot even disable the "warm reminder" from popping up ever again. Updates are centered around more lamps promotion, whereas in osrs almost every update is real solid content or improvement.
    3. Cosmetic overrides removes the dilemma decision of either looking fashionable and good but sacrificing armor stats or having good stats but no fashionshape. It is one important charm in RuneScape. If you are feeling fancy you do need to sacrifice stats, but in rs3 you can just override everything with whatever you like. No more hard decision or sacrifice.
    4. Pets and cosmetics look nauseating. Perhaps you don't need me to remind you of how obnoxious the drake pets are in annoying players with their big flapping wings that so many on reddit ask to remove it or at least let us hide other players'. Certain cosmetics also no longer have the RuneScape charm style, but instead looks very unnatural and out of place.
    5. Manual eoc required for efficient high end bossing. Some players do not really want to keep pressing keys for every basic ability for an entire bossing hour just to get high enough dps. It is extremely annoying and exhaustive to have to press keys for things like that nonstop. Using revo will almost always make you much slower and while you can still get the kill, you are expelled from the elitist pvm community.
    6. Very importantly, RS3 feels like a job to me. Players have so many dailies and repeatables to do that just finishing them to get the maximum gain already takes over an hour. There has a feeling of compulsion to do these, it's overall just a chore. I am left with very little time to actually freely do things not on the daily routine, to hang out randomly and chill without having to worry about efficiency scape. This chore intensive nature of the game makes it much less attractive than OSRS. I feel like going for a job on rs3 but on osrs I really feel like I'm playing a game and relaxing.
However, I have to say that rs3 does have really good content in terms of quests and boss mechanics. I really enjoy the complex ability combos in combat and the deeper boss mechanics design. And many of the quests are of very high quality that I feel like being in a real adventure. Osrs relies too much on the tick system and mouse clicking implementation, which isn't ideal for someone who wants to focus on having complex mechanics of bosses.
I think it'd be a waste if rs3 does die out considering it really isn't doing too well in attractive player count and all the good bossing and quest content will be forgotten by people.

@@AnonymousAnonposter I don't know what they can do about it though. It is natural that players who input more effort (repeatedly pressing keys in this case) should be rewarded more than those who spent less effort. But one suggestion to enhance the combat complexity is to release more abilities of various level entries, with more special effects like higher damage when used right after something, tankier bonus in some combination, etc. And lengthen the ability bar. Also perhaps let us connect two ability bars so the rotation flows through the two bars to give more ability usage variety. In hopes that clever planning of revolution bar can mitigate the punishment from not pressing keys repeatedly.

      2. Don’t spend money.
      3. Who cares about looking good when you need performance? I one who is serious will ever take anything but the best in that situation. Everyone ends up looking the same and that’s ducking boring. Let people make cool looking outfits and dominations of useless level 30 armor.
      4. True fuck drakes.
      5. Less effort = less efficiency. If that wasn’t the case the integrity of the game would be lost, especially for Ironmen.
      6. It’s a game. If you don’t have fun doing something then don’t do it. Dailies aren’t required they just help you progress faster. Just so the ones you like doing and duck the rest.
If you think OSRS combat relies to much on the tick system you haven’t looked into 4ticking bosses in RS3 which is the only way to duo or trio some bosses.

I'm an OSRS player myself, been playing since November 2020 and have no intention to play RS3 but I can see where you're coming from. The grind in OSRS truly is real and it can drag on quite a lot, so it's completely understandable that some people just prefer a more fast paced leveling system. I've been grinding my Magic XP for about 5 months and am Lvl89 now, it's probably gonna take me another 6 or 7 months to get to 99 but honestly that's fine with me. Watching my XP grow slowly but surely is part of the journey for me and I've honestly been having the time of my life with OSRS. I had been debating which version of Runescape to play for... actual years at this point. I finally said "eh fuck it" and tried out Runescape 3. At first I was pretty mixed on it. I didn't really like the treasure hunter thing, I didn't really like the new combat system, but I liked everything else about it. Then I found out two things: Legacy Mode and that you can just... completely ignore Treasure Hunter keys. It's a very small pop up when you first log in and I'm fairly sure there's some way to disable the pop up. Legacy Mode meanwhile turns combat back to OSRS style and that's what I'm looking for with *this* MMO. I go to Runescape to vibe and relax, not worry about the most optimal abilities to have in my toolbar. I also like that if I wanted to go back to regular combat I can with just a click of a button, so it's not like it's a permanent decision.
Edit: did some experimenting and you can also just use the treasure hunter keys for Oddments, which can be used on cosmetic items and pets, so that's what I'll be using those on from now on.

Id like to write a few paragraphs on this in hopes that you'll read all of it and take it into consideration. I am a 15 year veteran of RS so my roots are in osrs no doubt. Osrs will always be a special game to me. That being saif, don't believe the elitists man. Rs3 is a wonderful game that is still runescape in so many ways and in many ways, it's the better game. While rs3 is definately less grindy than osrs.. it is STILL very much a grind. It's not so much "easyscape" as it is "convenientscape." People make it seem like you can max your account in a week and that's bullshit. Unless you're spending thousands of dollars on the game and even then it would take some time.. thats not going to happen. All bonus experience does is adds a fixed amount of xp to the base experience rate and makes it slightly faster.. FOR EXAMPLE, if you were mining a rune rock and received 150xp per ore, the bonus experience will make it so you get 215xp per ore. Meaning you still have to mine the rune rock... just less of them to achieve your goals. And once the bonus xp runs out, you're back to base xp rates. It's not like you spend 100 dollars and boom, 99 slayer. And the elitists make it seem like that's how treasure hunter works and it's waaay wrong. There are FAR more methods to training a skill in rs3 as well. More fun methods, but also the same classic methods that you're used to. But because of these changes, you can enjoy more of the content without it feeling like a full time job. I'm certain you will enjoy it once you get past the slight learning curve which will only take about a week. If you don't enjoy the combat updates (which once you learn them actually add a lot of fun and challenge to the game) But if you don't like them, you can always play on a legacy server and enjoy the Old-school combat. The interface is FULLY customisable to your preference, but there is also the legacy interface which gives all the content and enjoyment of rs3 while still maintaining the UI simplicity of osrs. So I hope you read this far and I hope this gives you some insight into what a lot of the "issues" elitist osrs players complain about with rs3 and I hope it helps you make an informed decision. But definately give it a chance man and if you need a clan or some friends to help you get started, reply to this and you can add me whenever you eventually try it out. Best of luck and have a good day man.

    Aright 2 hot takes
1: the slower overall movement speed in old school makes the game world feel bigger than it actually is. In rs3 this is undermined by lodestones and resting. Lodestones remove the need to run between towns, and resting means that you can run around towns as much as you like with minimal waiting. The combined effect is that the space between towns need not even exists and the towns themselves feel small and cramped. This effect takes place too in old school, but gradually, as your character unlocks teleports and agility items. This means that while you start playing and are still learning the world map, the world feels larger, and fuller.
2: graphical cohesion makes osrs more visually appealing. While rs3 looks wayyy better when you stay in recently developed areas, it won't be long before you find areas that haven't been touched in years. Some areas In rs3 look almost identical to the same area in osrs, save for higher res textures and lighting tweaks. This undermines the cases visual cohesion, it doesn't feel like one consistent world. Like with the last point, osrs has this problem too, areas developed since osrs was launched have a habit of actually looking nice. However, the overall visual style is consistent enough for the world to feel less like a patchwork.

If you forgot an item or to eat your meal you just had to deal it. Now it’s just drop into the map, bee-line to the monster and kill it.

As someone who plays both OSRS and RS3 I wanna state my main pros and cons of both games. They're other reasons but these are the big ones
RS3 pro: Really fun and interactive combat system (once one get into it, does take a while but after a few minutes and hours of messing around it really is just better.)
RS3 pro: So many different activities to do. There's always something to do, especially late game. I'm maxed on rs3 and still got so much to do. Daily runs, slayer, bossing, D&Ds, ports, pof, even skilling is still worth doing. (Compared to osrs where once you get a 99 you just stop unless you pet hunt or 200m grind)
RS3 con: MTX, the way they handle these along with promotions definitely ruin the game. It feels like a mobile game with extra steps when it comes to MTX which sucks and really devalues 99s and even 120s. Even devalues combat since you can win 'lucky' godswords and armor.
Rs3 con: Economy is just awful to mess with. I'm not an ironman but I play like one pretty much, trying to work out a deal with somebody at the ge, bank sells, even flipping on the GE is pretty annoying and usually just a waste of time, unless you got millions upon millions / billions and know how to flip it's a waste of time. Might as well play Ironman on rs3 if you're considering giving it a chance.
Rs3 con: Community, it's split apart so much and unless you join a clan which is pretty hard to find a good one you're going to spend most of your time alone. They're lots of awesome clans out there but a lot of them have high level requirements to join that you'll probably never join one, you'll end up in a 'fun and everyone is allowed clan' instead which doesn't do any events really.
OSRS pro: Community, there's nothing else needed to be said. Full of life, most of the people will hear you out and have a conversation with you in game, even the mods/devs on OSRS are fantastic. Community gets to vote for content, much better.
OSRS pro: Everything feels earned. You spend a lot of time but that's how runescape started out as, a fun time investment game that we all love.
OSRS pro: No powercreep. *cough new t99 game breaking amulet. yay 1 second corp kill...*
OSRS con: No powercreep. I say this in a way as, once you get the gear you need, that's it. It doesn't take much to get to the t70/75 armor/weapons these days if you know what you're doing. I know the community doesn't want powercreep, but I hope the devs really figure out something to spice up the meta of the game.
OSRS con: late game is dull, there's not much to do besides boss and complete collection logs. Skilling is pretty much worthless since all you need to do is slayer or boss. The game is way to focused on pvm late game. Which is fun and all but after tons of hours invested in it, normal players get bored.
Overall, I do say RS3 is the more fun game to play but it's also a broken game that can be weird.
Then there's OSRS which is still fun to play but it's just so much more simplistic that it can get boring after a while and you can get burned out easier in.
On another note, I just got firemaking pet :o woohoo

On the MTX con (I dislike MTX just to be clear): the lucky items are all low tier stuff now since really the goal in RS3 is to get at least t90 stuff. They don't really matter. Also someone getting them doesn't devalue some else's grind for the regular versions of said items. The person who grinded for the items as a boss drop has a big advantage over the lucky MTX user too, because they have some boss log progress.
      Edit: gratz on the pet!

And of you think it devalues your goals and such. Of you knew the amount of money someone would need to spend you would puke... To just max. No. Mtx only affect those that use it. Simply don't use it if you don't like it. No one forces you to regardless of daily login popups.
Personally I don't use TH. I do buy bonds with gp for runecoins and such but that's just all cosmetics and no realtime affect what so ever.

I grew up on OSRS and as soon as rs3 came out, I tried it and I hated it because it wasn't what I was used to. Keep in mind, OSRS was the only mmorpg I had played at the time. I haven't played since 2012. Now after seeing how the genre has evolved, I can't see myself playing OSRS again. RS3 is full of QoL improvements and many things that were missing in OSRS, RS3 has. I'm actually going to get back into runescape when RS3 comes to mobile on June 17th as I don't have a computer currently and I am looking forward to getting into it. Majority of why OSRS being so loved still is because many like me grew up with it. Its the nostalgia. But trying to compare it to modern MMOS, it doesn't hold up. Thats why they made the change. I can't wait to play RS3 because I am not as narrow minded as I once was and I can see how much of an improved game it is over OSRS now.

The age gap also likely has a large factor too. OSRS just demands a lot more of your time. If you have the time to play it, I’m sure you’ll love OSRS. Kids just have more free time. And a lot of the older people playing OSRS probably have part-time jobs or no job at all.
But for the aged-up population of people who did play RS2 and have jobs now, they really don’t have the time for the grind of OSRS. Even the MTX nature plays into that by letting the player choose to spend additional money to skip certain parts of the game that they would rather not spend their free time doing.
Despite the fact that Silverhawk Boots/Feathers are 100% a p2w feature, nobody really complains about it existing because they’re easily accessible and Agility is generally considered one of the worst skills to actively train. And If you don’t like the p2w elements, then just play Ironman.
I don’t really plan on playing OSRS because I don’t really have the time for it. But I’m glad its there for people who do have the time to play it, because it is simply a game that rewards players with more time. If I were a kid today, I’d probably play OSRS too.

So you’re a casual player who wants the game to be easier, less engaging. You don’t want to walk places. You want to get 99 in a skill without having to work that hard. They never intended for people to get 99s but the fact that you can is part of why RuneScape was so magical back then.
I hate to say it, but you definitely just don’t “get” it and that’s totally fine. But to act like we are elitists for enjoying the grind is uncalled for. The game doesn’t have a massive, dedicated playerbase for no reason. People wouldn’t just sit there and click to max if the game wasn’t good

This is coming from someone who had what I remember as 200 or so real time days logged by 2010 in what is now called rs3... I'm reading a lot of comments about rs3 being easier. To an extent yes things are a little more convenient, but in no means easier and that's why it doesn't have people play. The quests, gameplay, everything is simply better. But it is too overwhelming and the combat isn't simple enough to understand. Lets not understate the fact some people can't handle a game that actually takes more skill. I got my levels a long time before it became easy to do so. I still enjoy rs3 better and have been getting back into it the best I can. The older I get the more I realize I have hobbies, a career, many life things that don't let me spend months on end fishing or woodcutting like I used to.

Here's how I think of it. Runescape 3 is actually Runescape proper. It's literally the same Runescape from 2001 that's been continually upgraded for 20 years. So Runescape 3 is the same as the current version of Minecraft Java. OSRS is more like playing Minecraft 1.7.0 or something like that. The fact that parts of oldschool arent fun is actually an important part of what made the game as a whole work back in the day. The unfun skills were very profitable and provided good unlocks. Unfortunately the drop tables these days in oldschool have lead to many of those skills being devalued to the point where they are just an annoying grind you have to do to complete quests. It is important that some parts of oldschool are "work" because the content unlock reward system in oldschool is tremendously satisfying as a result, I would like to see drop tables adjusted to bring some value back to fabrication skills and the highest tiers from the gathering skills.

I have both osrs and Rs3 accounts but they are 2 different games by a large margin. Log into any world on rs3 and like 80% of the world is literally maxed or just sit at the GE with their protean logs and Bars that they got for free, go adventure into the world and you notice immediately how dead rs3 is. Ever since I got into ESO for a few years I haven’t been able to fully enjoy OSRS. I was purely mobile OSRS for a few years and played a lot of Elder Scrolls Online and ARPG games. Getting back into RuneScape on a computer has made me want to play RS3 much more than OSRS. Old school is nostalgic and a nice challenge in the sense of a grind. Most of my friends play Ironman and do SO MUCH content (jokes they literally only do TOA 80% of the time).
The tick system just isn’t enough for me brain after playing full-fledged MMO/RPG games. The combat is just so boring compared to RS3.
QOL updates are slowly making OSRS more bearable, but not yet appealing enough to stick with.
Lodestones, rework run, and the fang have just made OSRS a zombie plague. Anyone who PVP’s I get playing OSRS. Any other reason I hear why people think OSRS is better ends up being BS. Don’t like micro transactions that give you random rewards? Don’t worry, everyone just buys gold on OSRS. Most of the things that my OSRS buddies say they hate about RS3 are the exact things they vote to bring into OSRS 😂
Where do OS players think 75% of their content has come from? It comes from RS3 lol.
Coming back after 6 years and see ALL the QOL and content additions to OSRS that came straight from RS3 is hilarious. My GIM friends get cringe when I point out everything they like is RS3-transferred content, yet they choose denial lmao.
