Just ordered one of these. I really hope is great. I have the Manscaped Dome Shaver and after 2 weeks it was pretty much unusable because of warping noises and blades the kept coming misaligned time after time after time. Big disappointment. Ready to give this Freebird a chance to shine.

I’ve been using the flex series for a few years. Just got it replaced under warranty actually because of the battery. That was a quick and easy process too. All the features of the pro are great but the 2 I like the most are the battery indicator and the removal of that pain of a center blade. That thing got filled quicker than the others and slowed the shaver down. Can’t wait to get the pro and keep smooth!

Looks like you have a ton of haters about sale & release of new one. Even if you got the 1st one at 60% off that's fabulous. My husband has his for I think 3vyears now and we made sure to guarantee product with blade refills. To all those out there upset it still is a fabulous product. Why get upset at them for trying to improve the company, giving that kind of discount would have been wonderful when 1st finding the product. Hey Freebird...I'm glad for this upgrade, for I almost gave up on you. The device system is fine yet the blades are tough and not as precise as prior. Shaving time has since doubled and I dont look forward to it as much as years 2020-22. I followed link via email and I may give it a try. I will say that the customer service team have always been excellent and generous in communication and help when needed! That is appreciated always
That easier cleaning is honestly the biggest selling point for me. It's almost impossible to keep the legacy model in top form without either using q-tips or high enough water pressure to dislodge everything. I'm looking forward to seeing the next message and how to get the new one.
I have reviewed the original Flex Series a couple of times and it didn't make the top 2 of my latest top head shavers of 2024. There are several upgrades these head shaver companies are coming out with. I wonder how this stacks up to the Baldie Pro 2.0 or Raze. Guess time will tell.

Great question! You’re free to choose the blade replacement schedule that works best for you and your routine, or with no dedicated plan at all! While we recommend changing the blades every few weeks or months for optimal hygiene and performance, most of our customers find that a 4 or 6-week subscription gives the best results. However, we also have many satisfied customers on 2-3 month plans. We default to a six-week program because that's where customers see the best results from a new blade, but you can always change, pause, skip, delay, or cancel any time. I just got mine in the beginning of April. April 7 to be exact I sent a note to customer service to see whether or not I can return that one and upgrade to the new one. I see that they were running a Father's Day promotion so if you purchased it April 13, you have until June 30 to return it. I would've missed it by six days. I really hope they allow for it because this really seems like an awesome upgrade. Edit.. i'm sorry I'm wrong. The cut off date was May 13th not April 13th.

True. The email comes after you buy and register the offer model. That makes the $40 older model they would be stuck with turn into an invisible $40 profit on the newer model. The current FlexSeries shaves my head nicely but the other attachments suck. I use my other beard trimmer of a different brand for nose hairs and beard trimming.

I ordered this NEW version today via Amazon. I'm looking forward to using it in the shower. I was considering a Remington but after reading negative reviews from users I'm glad I didn't go for it. I only hope this new version works well and it isn't all a lot of hype. If the shaver doesn't make the grade I will return it. Will they accept it within the thirty day trial at Amazon? You guys ALMOST got it... but not quite. The motor and the rubberized coating on the actual shaver + the improved waterproofing are big improvements. It feels like a much more expensive and higher quality product than the original. I love the look and feel. The problem is that the new head inspired by your competitor isn't as good as the original flex series. Sorry... it's just not. It takes me longer to get the quality of shave I want and despite having the magnetic head that comes off for easy cleaning.... it's HARDER to clean! Many of us use shaving cream or shave oil. I prefer oil. The chamber is rarely the part that needs cleaning. That's easy. It's the underside of the head that gets gummed up around the perimeter of the blades. Because of the new suspension of the floating blades there's all this busy and sharp undercarriage stuff going on and you literally can't get around it to clean with a brush. In addition to that... I'm not sold on the four blade design. I honestly believe I get a faster shave out of the original 5 blade design. So I love the shaver and hate the head you put on it. You can still save this... My advice is to PLEASE sell different styles heads for this shaver as everyone has different preferences. I would love one modeled on the original Flex Series. I also enjoy the five blade styles found on Remington Balder Boss / Groomie Baldie Pro and the new Manscape Dome Shaver Pro. I also miss the exfoliator / brush attachment that came with the original. I like washing my face with that. Bring it back or sell it as an add on. The shaver itself is awesome. The head is the only thing standing in the way of it being great.

Hmmmm, I tend to use my old one when I don't feel like shaving with my razor and it allows me another day or 2 before I do need my razor, hoping this one is actually better so I don't have to use my razors at all.
While I like the original it didn't give me that smooth bald head. It looked good but when I run my hand over my head I can feel hair but others talk about how smooth their head is. I wonder if the Flex Pro will give a closer shave or will it be the same old same old? I do like everything thing else about it.

True. The email comes after you buy and register the offer model. That makes the $40 older model they would be stuck with turn into an invisible $40 profit on the newer model. They got me too unfortunately. But, mine was an Amazon purchase with free returns. But it's just a head, I may keep it. I'll check the new price.

The current FlexSeries shaves my head nicely but the other attachments suck. I use my other beard trimmer of a different brand for nose hairs and beard trimming.

I ordered this NEW version today via Amazon. I'm looking forward to using it in the shower. I was considering a Remington but after reading negative reviews from users I'm glad I didn't go for it. I only hope this new version works well and it isn't all a lot of hype. If the shaver doesn't make the grade I will return it. Will they accept it within the thirty day trial at Amazon? I wonder...🤔🏹♐
Had my shaver for 2 years until it just stopped working a few months ago. I haven't had a chance to purchase a new one, and now I'm glad I didnt.
You guys ALMOST got it... but not quite. The motor and the rubberized coating on the actual shaver + the improved waterproofing are big improvements. It feels like a much more expensive and higher quality product than the original. I love the look and feel. The problem is that the new head inspired by your competitor isn't as good as the original flex series. Sorry... it's just not. It takes me longer to get the quality of shave I want and despite having the magnetic head that comes off for easy cleaning.... it's HARDER to clean! Many of us use shaving cream or shave oil. I prefer oil. The chamber is rarely the part that needs cleaning. That's easy. It's the underside of the head that gets gummed up around the perimeter of the blades. Because of the new suspension of the floating blades there's all this busy and sharp undercarriage stuff going on and you literally can't get around it to clean with a brush. In addition to that... I'm not sold on the four blade design. I honestly believe I get a faster shave out of the original 5 blade design. So I love the shaver and hate the head you put on it. You can still save this... My advice is to PLEASE sell different styles heads for this shaver as everyone has different preferences. I would love one modeled on the original Flex Series. I also enjoy the five blade styles found on Remington Balder Boss / Groomie Baldie Pro and the new Manscape Dome Shaver Pro. I also miss the exfoliator / brush attachment that came with the original. I like washing my face with that. Bring it back or sell it as an add on. The shaver itself is awesome. The head is the only thing standing in the way of it being great.

Hmmmm, I tend to use my old one when I don't feel like shaving with my razor and it allows me another day or 2 before I do need my razor, hoping this one is actually better so I don't have to use my razors at all.

While I like the original it didn't give me that smooth bald head. It looked good but when I run my hand over my head I can feel hair but others talk about how smooth their head is. I wonder if the Flex Pro will give a closer shave or will it be the same old same old? I do like everything thing else about it.
