This is the most detailed but simple, to the point tutorial I have ever seen on this project. I am so excited and forever grateful for you and cannot wait to get started. when i get off work today going straight to Lowes Yess!!
I know this is probably an old video but thank you very much for making this video. I did take notes in the measurements and the hinges you were saying you used. As well as the screws and bolts and such. So I’ve taken notes so I don’t need a PDF file that everyone seems to be hung up on the fact that isn’t there. I will be going to Home Depot and getting the supplies and my husband can make me a few of these. Thank you so much for the in-depth process of how to do this. I will also be figuring Out the sizes I will need for my smaller ones for the earrings and bracelets. Thank you so much God bless
You have restored my faith in humanity...or at least in this internet people... at least for today. I dont think we realize the full impact of negative comments... because when I read it, I'm also bothered by whatever is going on... So thank you for adding your grace and much needed perspective... as well as the reminder that you may have to work for it. (By watching the video.)
Thank you for the video. First, I pray that you are in remission and that all went well. Of course the PDF isn't there but if people would read down then I'm pretty sure they could figure out measurements from other that have commented. God Bless You 🙏
My husband and I built something similar, but we used 3 separate hinges. I REALLY like the piano idea so much better. It's got to be more sturdy. We sandwiched poultry wire between narrow molding and 1"x1" strips, which worked great for displaying my greeting cards. I think I'll now have to upcycle what I have using peg board or hardware cloth for my jewelry. That is, if the sandwich will separate. We used wood glue and finishing nails cuz we didn't want to split the thin molding. Regardless, I gleaned some great ideas from this video. Thanks for sharing.
Curious to know if maybe there is a way to add "inserts" to hold more jewelry. I do Jewelry sales on the fly, and would like to be able to hold as much as possible.
thx much for this display idea. Now if only I had a saw. I may try to use liquid nails instead of drilling in screws. Could you add the attachment , would love to see how you laid out cutting the pegboard too. thx much.
I know this is old but I needed some instructions. He did not give any sizes for the peg board, the hinges or anything. Now I have to try and figure it out.
I'm so sorry. Shortly after we posted this video, I got cancer and never got around to putting up a PDF. I would measure out your car, and figure out a size that would work for you personally!
I figured it out and I posted your video to group page, I built three. I have a van so I did two 24x42 and one 24X30 was going to do two but they ran out of peg board. I have three pieces left and they are small so I will make four smaller ones for rings and bracelets. I pray all is well, been there done that, the chemo and radiation cancer free since 2006 I pray the same outcome for you my brother.
I am so sorry to hear you got cancer. I hope that treatment is going well. Thank you for this video....it explains how to build for a novice like myself which I appreciate. Take care!
Angela Greene I'm slow what are the measurements for the lumber. I know the 2 pieces on the short side should be 24 but what about the long sides. He said something about they should be shorter so what would that measurement be
Wow... that comment is so selfish and gross. Just garbage. You are Yelling, and didn't even bother to thank him... just make demands. But who are you anyway? To jump when you say so... No. Demanding rudely that someone do something for you just because YOU need it is such a self absorbed thing to say. He made this for us for free. Figure it out, go buy one or dont. But with that attitude... good luck.
Hi Hope! I do have a brain, I swear... (Well sort of thanks to an illness that makes it foggy...) but when it comes to things like measurements or parts... some things just I just cant eyeball... no matter how hard I try... But I can help you work through your feelings, and I can talk about empathy like nobody's business... But really, what measurements would you use? Should I just measure the pegboard holes to figure out screws? And do I need to worry about drill bits?!
Nice jewelry board, you're very creative. Thanks for sharing.
A 4x8 sheet of peg board will do 6 panels of 32 inch x 24 inch each. 😉👍
exactly what I've been looking for-yes years later and it still helps other. I read comments below and hope you are doing much better
Thanks Frank! So easy to understand how you've explained it. In Lowes right now!

The aesthetic makes this otherwise awesome creation look extremely cheap
Sorry but if yall use your brain you could figure out the size of the board you need , the screws , and a drill is a drill as long as it works.
