If you had remembered the bidet what would you have done with the rinse water? Does that go in the wag bag too? Also this is a really fun adventure. Thanks for filming and sharing.
You can’t really pack out water in a wag bag. In retrospect I wouldn’t have used the bidet here. Both for lnt reasons and because the silty river water dries your skin out massively. Basically the best piece of gear we brought was lotion.
Thank you both for this question and information. I’m new kayaking myself. Only been to a few local parks with amenities. I’m perfectly fine with a dug hole, so the valid restrictions are new to me. Im not sure I would be able to explain why my potential kayaking buddy should bring two tubes of chapstick.
Went out to that area last year and loved it. Can you let me know the specific section you did and the outfitter? Did you have to get a permit? I'm an old whitewater rafting guide from WV, but love the west. A bit older now, would love to do the flat water section you are running.
Planning on doing a whole “everything you need to know to do the green river video” but we used Tex’s out of Moab that rented us the kayaks and did the dropoff / pickup. Two permits required, nps one is a recreation.gov thing and the other is an easy BLM permit at the outfitters. We did the whole thing Crystal Geyser to Spanish Bottom at the Confluence
@@FirstChurchofTheMasochistHikes thanks Matt. Been following since the Key West to Canada start. Saw the two paddling videos and had to watch immediately. Not sure if the wife was thrilled as I was laying in bed holding up the TV watching to watch the two episodes.
It’s so much fun watching you two.
Never watched a kayak trip. Thank you for video.
You two are quite fun to watch! It matters not what you two do either !!!
You are a very lucky man! Hope you enjoyed your trip as much as I did. ❤️
Thanks!
Two good videos. I enjoy watching your adventures. Good Luck, Rick

What time of year?
We did it over Jen's spring break. So early April
Hi, how did taters get her name? Almost every time I see her, she is laughing.
When we were on the PCT in the middle of the Sierra a deer ran up, grabbed her sports bra, and ran off munching on it
Ohhhhh.
