I’m not trying to shame anyone. I really didn’t learn how to cook for myself until about two years ago. And I am no chef by any means, but these people give me the confidence to open a restaurant.
That is the perfect way to describe the show.

I’d say, as a rule, if you can’t cook then don’t cook chicken. It’s not worth the risk.
It's that or have someone with you to supervise or just to ask if you're doing it right
Yeah if you’re this bad I’d start with vegetarian recipes 😅
Or just invest in a meat thermometer and follow a recipe - two things that people refuse to do for some reason
On that note it's better to overcook something as risky as meat than it is to undercook it. I mean most beef and pork, even fish you are fine if the produce is fresh but if you're that new, better to be safe than sorry
Or just look up how you're supposed to do it. Cooking chicken isn't exactly rocket science.

I highly recommend Canada's Worst Driver btw. They people they manage to find on that show is astounding (although half the shit they have them do are things even *I* can't do, and I'm a pretty average driver).

Aw good luck! My first day in a dorm I was so excited to be "on my own" but not really on my own because roommate and dining hall, but then when it came down to sleep I was just like PANIK.
And then in a few weeks your dining hall will serve a single frozen ravioli as the only pasta dish for the whole month and you'll be extremely homesick again.
True story. Sure glad I'm in debt I'll never get out of because I paid so much to go to a school that literally served ONE SINGLE FROZEN RAVIOLI for dinner one time. Prisoners get better food.
