Beautiful choi bar entry
What's that
@@JohnSmith-pg9ns1:20 also can look up on YT believe Lachlan and Craig have videos on it
@@DonatasPetrus thanks player
@@JohnSmith-pg9ns
Lachlan said Choi bar is an armbar where the leg goes over the arm.
You can UA-cam armbar from clamp guard as an example.
-
We apply a shoulder crunch from clamp guard and put our clamp foot towards their body.
Our far leg is used to flip them on their back in a forward roll.
If they refuse to flip then you break their arm so they’re forced to move.
Xande still competing, at the highest level, at 41-years-old. Dude is still the man.
cool name dude!
@@aidenneville7983 Ah! The Neville Brothers!
Mayweather finished a "young" "ferocious" Conor when he was 40. Couture, Texaira, Cormier, Romero...all 40+ monsters
40 is not old. It all depends on how well you take care of yourself.
@@helisean10in BJJ, 40 is fuckin old.
Im a black belt for 15 years, training since 2000, and watching this match ,at the higher level, made me think ( and i don't know why)...this sport will never be mainstream or at the olympics like Danaher said, if you don't train it you really can't appreciate it, that's impossible
All the mainstreams sports are only watched by people who have practiced them at some point. Soccer, basketball, American football, etc. Their fanbases are mostly made up of people that know the sport. Bjj is a great hobby sport just like the mainstream ones so I don't see why it can't become at least as popular as something like tennis
just wait until you've been a black belt for 16 years, then you can really see what they are doing

My mother watches soccer as does most of Sweden.
We do have a lot of players but most people here haven’t competed ever.
Playing soccer as a child isn’t the same as an adult tournament for money.
@@Josh-eb5vm😂😂
why did eoghan not recieve a penalty for pull guard after he got 3 points?
He was grounded
Great match, Big win for Eoghan! only the start more to come next ADCC
ÍDOLO lembro que quando comecei jiu-jítsu em 2016 eu queria ser o Xande Ribeiro, porém realmente é a hora de parar.
You are looking for 1:20 .
😅
Great match
Xande dominant as usual. Didn't get his guard passed.
xD
🥱🥱Merecido..!!👏👏👏
Hats off to Xande but the no gi game is so much different now.
The Xande, Lovato, Galvao generation are all hall of famers and definitely still tough and dangerous.
But the no gi game is much different now and it’s hard to change 20 years of muscle memory and approach
Right on spot!
@@guilhermefarinaLovato is still absolutely smashing it
@@JamesBrown-3-3 in his last 6 matches but all against really tough guys.
w man
Ribeiro ADV
O'Flanagan
completely nonsensical refereeing. the hook was not in for 3 seconds and yet eoghan was awarded 3 points for the back. then he blatantly pulled guard and never got a penalty.
Why does he wear that red ankle sleeve thingy?
Bjj competitors have to wear those so it's easy for the refs and jusges to identify a side. In this case Xande is the red score on the score board
Is Flanagan English?
Yes
By nationality… but that boy Irish lol
Ganhou do leão VELHO! Kkkk
one error and you are gone
Boring stalling Xande as usual. Havent seen his game evolve one bit for the past 10 yrs!
He got outclassed by a guy that has trained less time than Xande has had a black belt!!
Well, true! But... Man, he's 41 years old and he comes from a whole different game. And those new guys out there are really good!
Xande... no idea how to pass guard, no idea how to defend leglocks properly no counter offence just time wasting ... buy hey at least he didn't get his guard passed....hahaha... rubbish.
How can someone that bad at bjj compete at this level
Riiiiight. 👌
Which one?
Xande would submit you in the double digits in one round lol
Yeah.. Xande is bad.. but walks around so arrogant ..
@@awong2912 Xande is one of the nicest dudes I know. He even let me sleep in his apartment when he was out of town doing seminars. He is far from arrogant
