I think Patrick should listen to all of the like 450 (literally) albums from Buckethead exclusively during 2024 as a punishment for not caring about instrumental music.

Hey Patrick and Chris, first of all, hope you guys had a nice Christmas. To be honest, it's hard for me to watch those long videos of yours lol, so I was just using the time stamps to see the albums that you guys would pick. I got so surprised to see Chris putting Portals on his list (considering that most of the time I just see you guys talking about metal, because I'm a Metallica fan) so I immediately went to Spotify to listen to it, and I loved it! I have to agree with Chris that sometimes it's hard to keep up with the meaning of the songs, but overall, Portals is a great album in my opinion. Thanks for the recommendation, Chris! And keep doing those Metallica reactions, Patrick!

If you like Riverside, their vocalist, Mariusz Duda, has a solo projektor called Lunatic Soul. The record Walking On A Flashlight Beam is very dark and good.
