I like thinking about the production of this video from Layla's perspective. She is happily exploring and just accepts without judgement that her friend likes to sit and talk to a little box. I enjoyed the video and thoughts; thank you!
My Rottweiler, Rosie, has shown me a fulfilling life is made up of long walks, soaking up nature, sleeping next to someone you love, enjoying good meals, and being goofy and playful. Thanks for allowing me to get present to this 😊
In 2013 I set my entire body on fire with gasoline in a suicide attempt. The next 8 years were a continuation of the mental health problems that led to my attempt. 2 years ago I had a genuine breakthrough which has led me down informational rabbit holes and spiritual experiences I didn't know existed. I am so thankful I found your channel my friend. I have a sort of fear that things are never really genuine. The larger an audience someone has the more I am afraid they are disingenuous and superficial. Something about how beautiful and serious your videos are with such a small humble audience let's me know you are sincere. Once again, thank you my friend.
Damn bro, can I ask you why you tried to commit suicide with gasoline? There's so many other ways to do it ya know? Im not hating at all Im just trying to see what you were thinking when you chose that... God bless brotha, and if you think about it, if you didn't try to take your own life you prob wouldnt have had those spiritual experiences your speak of without the attemt...

I have 3 dogs including a GSD. They have taught me more about life than humans. Unconditional love, loyalty, playfulness and compassion. But most importantly, how to stay present in life. ❤❤❤
Thank you for the insights. In 2023, I made eye contact with a Vietnamese street dog and it was magical. Time stood still. I felt the purest love. Unforgettable. When asked to reflect on the moments of felt love in my life, that’s a standout moment I return to. Now I know why. Oxytocin is a helluva drug. I love that you adopted a rescue dog and she became a furry star. You’re right, dogs know the true meaning of life. Dog values are the supreme values… Loyalty, warmth, kindness, nourishment, love, safety, protection, companionship, presence, play. ❤ Animals are wise teachers. They rescue us just as much as we rescue them. What a wholesome video.
@@yungmentalproblems that is sad, but why is eating a dog sadder than eating a cow or pig? They’re all sentient beings capable of pain. Personally, I don’t enjoy meat, I’m vegetarian, but as a traveler, what other cultures do (and eat) in their own country is their business. I just accept it. A lot of people live in poverty in Vietnam, so it makes sense that they’d eat anything edible. Thanks to the Buddhists, there’s always at least one vege spot available in most places so I go there. You’ve just reminded me that I saw a monkey riding a dog like a horse in Phu Quoc. I must try to remember that more often! 🤣
Silence, the answer is silence, in this noisy world the more silent you are the more in Rich with meaning your life becomes, you toil more on your words before sharing, and the animal kingdom practice silence more then humans unfortunately, that’s why death only scares humans.

Very intriguing. It's not something I've thought about as deeply, but something I've certainly noticed. There is a lot we could learn from dogs and they help us by reminding us what is truly important.
Such an interesting topic. I always find myself closer to animals than humans. Their friendship means true friends: "honesty, kindness, friendliness..." Feel simply free & happy in their company . Fulfilled and confident 🌌
The eyes are truly a masterful tapestry to display the inner workings of a beautiful soul. I don't have a dog, but remember and love my brief memories staying with a friend during a move and his German Shepherd , this humongous *ss dog would just flop on top of me and stare into my eyes. What a good boi! On the topic of hormones, I loved that you touched on Oxytocin and wonder the stoic approach to the others like Endorphins, Dopamine and Seratonin. ❤
Maybe there’s a deep cosmic connection between humans and Sirius (also known as the Dog Star) the brightest star in our skies? Or our deep archetypal connection with Anubis the G-d of the underworld (half human and dog)?
I love my dog. I only have one now. I love my daughters dogs and her snakes and I love the outdoor animals. A few years back I had seven baby squirrels show up. I don’t know why they came here and every year. I usually have seven I already have two babies, which is early little ones that showed up with their mother. We have these old trees in our yard, and I think the animals, come back or their mothers come back. I’ve had raccoons before same thing now not so much. I think they got old and probably died my solace talking with my friends and family my brothers, my friends, some family, and being outside in the warm months, but really year-round. And gardening growing foods cooking not so much in the summer, I don’t like to cook as much but just being outside I have one Chihuahua now only one dog you know that’s enough for me humans we all have issues we get irritated with someone or they get irritated with us. It’s never usually a big fight you just kinda get irritated and, that’s the end of it being outside in the sunshine when we have it and in the green grass and planting and taking care of my yard in the spring and summer and fall in the winter getting things done in the home is a lot of work, but it keeps you busy. It keeps your mind free from things that probably really don’t matter.
Justice for cats 😂 they have lived alongside humans for a very long time and our relationships with them are apparently more like human to human relationships rather than human to beast. My cat acts ‘like a dog’ in many ways, he understands certain words, sounds, and his face has different facial expressions. Just saying - they’re often overlooked as not friendly but I have been astounded at how close and I this cat became and how human like our bond.
I've had some pretty strong bonds with my kitties - especially my elderly boy who passed earlier this month. A whole lot of living happened in the 15 years we spent together on this planet and to say he was anything less than a soulmate to me would be unthinkable. Bonds run deep when the love is there. p.s. I absolutely love dogs as well. Was raised with both and could never choose when people asked which I preferred. Currently have 2 cats and 3 dogs and the level of love and companionship between myself and them is the same with each. ❤

No surprise why they called them Cynics (From Kynikos, or "dog").
