Milda! Your videos are always a treat, and this mine was one of the most spectacular I have ever seen. The way the natural processes were building cave formations over the man-made features and cementing everything in place with glittering calcite... just wow. Shame about the "sculptures"... clearly there were some giggling boys in there at some point. On the other hand, nice they didn't vandalize the place. Cheers to you from across the pond!

Agree, I'd never seen that much of a calcite formation in a mine, or maybe the positioning was fortunate. Yeah clay building is always fair play in a mine 😁.

My favourite place it’s so beautiful
The water definitely make the entrance more special
And the wooden rails too, I’ve climbed up the old shaft on the rope, it’s all caved in

It's rather unique. Good to know about the shaft.

Thanks for a lovely explore Milda. The formations were amazing . I spent ages googling 'gower pool' eventually figuring out that it's 'gour pool' lol. Keep up the good work 👍👍

Ha ha I remember seeing that word first time and thinking it was pronounced gour like 'gore' 😆

Hey cave guide here! The cave pearls that are joined up are called 'botryiods' or 'cave popcorn'

I walked past there last Sunday! I wonder if you were inside at the time? You mentioned another adit which is the one I explored myself... The one with the plank over the first hole. I hope you went there too

Been in the other last year. I was there on Sunday morning, so maybe 😄? Not a long explore as the mine is quite small

    It’s a stunning mine ..
Very little history on this place but it’s sure a gem.
I’m so glad the first section is flooded it keeps the rouges out 😁

Wading wasn't too bad, the water was clean, and all very much worth it 😁. More exciting explores this weekend.
