Bro! Those drums are dope! I’m an intermediate drummer thanks to you!! It’s funny how I can do this exercise well, but lacking on licks or adding stuff on rhythms. When played slow sounds like caballo. And big ups to your primo/hermano. ❤
Love the pattern and challenge. As an aside, any serious player of the tres cubano (or acoustic guitar) will find that “those finger slaps” with the non-dominant hand really crack loud because of your calluses! 🙏🎶🪘🇨🇺

@@ericvargas7015 really depends… an 11” Quinto is a really diverse drum… I’m using an 11” size here in this video as the main drum… but I also think if you’re starting out an 11.75” Conga is great to work on tones and develop from because of the size and space to develop on.
I can't thank you enough for this 👍Blessings from the Caribbean 🌴
Timing is CRUCIAL for a drummer to have and understand. The “Why” of this lesson is more important than the “What”. Great lesson.
I am very sorry for your loss. A great lesson today!
Great lesson chief! I'm definitely going to use this as a warm up/practice tumbao... thanks for posting!
Seem to remember Tata doing this movement. This is a very hip lick, thanks for posting!
You did your cousin proud!!
