There is no contradiction in this. It does not make Jesus less God when we see him fear what he knows is coming, it shows His humanity.

I hear preachers speak of Jesus humanity in His compassion for the suffering of man... But the Bible says "for GOD so loved the world"... I believe His compassion showed His Deity...

The last section of scripture also is in telling us that Jesus was both god and man, he had in him human nature in conjunction with his divinity, and despite his human fear and knowledge that he could call upon the legions of heaven to smite every Jew and Roman alike that sent him to the cross he still faced it in the will of the father.
