Adam Cole's superkick to Ricochet has to be one of the most impressive thing I've ever seen. How did he even manage to kick someone mid rotation with just enough force for it to look legit, but holding back enough not to send anyone to the hospital ?
HBK superkicking Benjamin as he was spring boarding. I watched that match live and for a moment I thought Benjamin was dead. Absolutely amazing selling by both guys.
And to make it even better, when they had another match at some point, they teased the same spot again but Shelton landed short and caught the foot instead.
I'm still trying to figure out how they made that spot look so good without HBK literally kicking Shelton's head into the third row. Like, we're talking an inch margin of error, if that.

Without A doubt best kickout ever and one of the greatest pops ever. Even many feel good moments and title changes fell to come close a pop which taker created by just kicking out of a finisher. Only Omega comes to close by Kicking out of Golden Trigger at fuking 1 after beaten down to death.
Can we talk about Adam Cole flipping his arms everywhere after hitting Ricochet with the upside down superkick? Man popped off for his own spot. I can't blame him though it was hype as hell.
Hey Adam! You’ve been saying lately that Brock vs Bryan could overtake Brock vs Angle Iron Man as your Favorite Match of all Time. Does this mean we could get a revised list soon? =D
I don’t think anyone has mentioned it since Adam started doing these lists on Wrestletalk, but the titles for each spot in his lists are funny af My favorite one for this list in particular is: “It’s A New Dead, Yes It Is” It gave me a good giggle when I heard it :D
I absolutely loved this. A video focusing on the incredible talent of these wrestlers instead of questionable booking decisions. Great job, Adam and company.
When hitting a midair spot like any of the RKOs or the superkicks, I find it makes the spot 100x better if it seems like something was actually going to happen if the kick didn't materialize. Most of the time, the victim just hangs in the air clearly waiting for the spot, but if it seems like they're actively performing an offensive move independent of the spot, it makes it that much better for me.
Yeah, like when Styles faced Lesnar at Survivor Series and went for the Phenomenal Forearm and Brock caught him in midair for an F-5, might have actually been the finish. Styles just didn't jump onto his shoulders, he twisted his body and swung his legs as he normally does when hitting the move. Made Lesnar catching him look more impressive too.
Bray pointing two fingers at Sheamus before he gets speared is still one of the best things ever. I saw it when I just began watching wrestling properly and my god that one fucked me up.
I remember a spot during a no dq match between Ali and Murphy during a July 2018 205 live episode where Murphy was standing on the barricade just next to the commentary table, Ali jumped on the table, jumped on the barricade, lands so perfectly he almost made it look easy, and did a spanish fly to Murphy on the table These guys were amazing now they're jobbing and my sadness has no limits
Don't know if that could count as one, but how about the time Rollins got pulled out of a steel cage barrier, seconds before potentially getting killed?
The point-spear had me so hype. It’s one of the coolest things I’ve seen. Such a simple spot on paper but it was so picture perfect, especially Bray not even looking at Sheamus as it happened is the icing on the cake. It’s one of the best spears ever, not just for Roman but EVER.
That Rock baton pick-off still sticks in my mind from Survivor Series 98, even though I was pulling for Shamrock when I first watched the show, even though I knew how it ended. Really slick by the 1991 National Champion, Dwayne Johnson.
I've watched a lot of pro wrestling content since I got back into wrestling last month, but you channel is the first and only one that a real, authentic, original authorial voice. Your videos have character, humor, identity, and your effort and passion really come through in every video. Thanks for your work and I look forward to more of your videos.
1) AJ Styles hitting that impossible Styles Clash on Seth Rollins reversing a curb stomp. 2) Adam Cole reversing the Bitter End of Pete Dunn into a Panama Sunrise. Holy hell !!! how did they do that...
I might count the entire conception of the claymore. Apparently Drew meant to do a superkick but his pants were too tight and he got off the ground. I imagine that could’ve gone all kinds of wrong but it ended up timing right and looking cool so he kept it
I legit lost my sh*t when he hit the one on Ziggler a couple of months ago. Like, a kip-up into a full layout dropkick basically in one motion. Nobody that's built like McIntyre is, is supposed to be that agile. It's pretty ridiculous.
Unpopular Opinion Lesnar vs Bryan, Lesnar vs Styles and Lesnar vs Punk are among some of the best wrestling matches of the 21st century, and I mean all 3 near the top 10.
I dont think that's an unpopular opinion, those three matches are incredible, when lesnar can be arsed to wrestle, he creates magic. If Lesnar respects you he will give you the greatest match of your life.
That Wyatt and Roman is so good It's like Wyatt had eyes at the back of his head If Wyatt pointed at Sheamus and Roman was not there at the exact moment it would've really sucked
My favorite was the first big bump by Keith Lee on Adam Cole that sent him flying through the crowd. Instant gif and perfect timing to get it looking that insane.
I remember meeting Ricochet at WCPW along with Adam years ago and it makes me sad to see how underutilised Ricochet is but happy to have Adam talking Wrestling again
Perfectly timed action? One thing that I think off the top of my head is the timing of the festival of friendship, how it ended at the perfect time, Owens attacked at the perfect time to have the beautiful soap opera suspense. The mania build up after that the less talked about probably for the better. Jericho and Owens deserved a lot better.
King Bookaaah's entrance at SummerSlam 07 - when he poses on the ramp, a torch is directly behind him, hence looking like his head's on fire I'm 90% sure it was planned that way, but his expression is hysterical:))) "I'm King Bookaaah. And my head is on fire."
Underrated moment: Dean Malenko interrupting the 3-count in the Wrestlemania X-Seven match between Test and Eddie Guerrero. Test had just hit an all-time big boot and went for the pin, but Malenko was there to break it up at 2. Plus or minus one second it's a botch but he got there at the exact perfect moment. Also, super sad how both Test and Eddie Guerrero are no longer with us.
There seems to be a running theme throughout these top 10/15 videos and that's Shawn Michaels! Every list he is in it at least once. Feel blessed that I have been able to follow his career since the days of the rockers, he has been my favourite from then and the reason I watched wrestling.
Keith Lee pouncing Adam Cole right out of his boots. Lee comes from absolutely out of nowhere and it's such a stunning spot. It was GIF'd to all hell, but one of the best moments of NXT, hands down.
HBK and Rey Mysterio had some great chemistry together. Rey jumping into the Superkick, HBK getting hit with the 619 and tumbling across the ring, it was exciting to watch.
That superkick on Shelton Benjamin has to be the best one that HBK ever did. It’s up there with the RKOs to Seth at Mania and that counter to a shooting star press vs Evan Bourne.
one of my favorite perfectly timed moments (which is also one of my favorite mid-air RKO) was on John Morrison, during a Triple Threat with Dibiase in September 2010 or something
Welcome back, Adam. You've still got the same great commentary you did on WhatCulture and you're still more entertaining that anyone else on that channel or Cultaholic since you left.
Edge's spear to a dangling Jeff Hardy at WM17. Just perfect, launched at the right moment when jeff is swinging slightly towards him so he cuts him in half beautifully, both falling together to the floor while not falling awkwardly/dangerously on top of each other, Jeff has a brilliant rotation while not going too far and landing on his neck, and Edge lifting his head up and selling it, and overall it still LOOKED like a proper spear! Couldnt have been better It was one of the first spots that came straight to mind here
People seem to have willingly forgotten it since they wrestled each other about 19 times on TV in 2018 but the Sasha/Bayley vs Riott Squad matches had some incredibly well-timed spots that deserve praise.
Whoa, I think you didn't give enough props to Bourne for that RKO. Yes, Randy did have to quickly pop up and catch it, but Bourne perfectly aimed that shooting star press. Even it Randy stayed on the mat Bournes head was going directly for Randys shoulder. That's some godly aim while doing a back flip while going forward. Both men deserves praise for that beauty.
Adam Cole superkicking Ricochet midflip and Sami rescuing KO at the last second are hard to top. But honourable mention for the recent Goldberg and Lesnar Wrestlemania Match where Lesnar suplexes Goldberg, the camera does a close up of Lesnar laughing as he turns around into a spear from Goldberg flying in from off screen.
ADAM: What's your favourite perfectly timed spot? Answer BELOW!
This is more of a moment, but seth’s cash in had a great timing
That Shawn Michaels and Shelton Benjamin springboard Sweet Chin Music from hell
Papa Shango
When Baron Corbin started to do an End of Days on AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler ran in and hit a Zigzag and the exact right moment
Adam cole kicking ricochet mid-flip at takeover Brooklyn 4
Its not the most elaborate timing, but man I loved the RKO out of the curb stomp at Mania 31.
Oh yea...that was insane how well timed it was, along with just the pure height Seth got off of it
It was just baffling what these two pulled out
I still think that the RKO to Evan Bourne as he was about to hit his shooting star press is the best RKO and RKO HISTORY!!!!
2nd best RKO. Not on the list because Seth doesn’t normally jump that high when he hits a Curb Stomp
The first moment I saw that it seemed like Seth had gone 20 feet in the air. Just marvelous.
Adam Cole's superkick to Ricochet has to be one of the most impressive thing I've ever seen. How did he even manage to kick someone mid rotation with just enough force for it to look legit, but holding back enough not to send anyone to the hospital ?
Ricochet taking the move is even more impressive
Ive rewatched it a thousand times and it never ceases to amaze me both men were phenomenol in that spot
HBK superkicking Benjamin as he was spring boarding. I watched that match live and for a moment I thought Benjamin was dead. Absolutely amazing selling by both guys.
My mother was half sleep and when she saw that her eyes popped open
And to make it even better, when they had another match at some point, they teased the same spot again but Shelton landed short and caught the foot instead.
I remember seeing that live too! It was in the "Gold Rush Tournament" for a world title shot
I'm still trying to figure out how they made that spot look so good without HBK literally kicking Shelton's head into the third row. Like, we're talking an inch margin of error, if that.
