@@john-olivierlukama1548 TLDR: Bragging rights and survivor series had a different concept during the time bragging rights was around (2009-2010) as I said, at the time bragging rights was around (2009-2010) they weren't doing Brand Warfare at survivor series (which before the 2016 rebranding, was mostly just limited to the mens 5 on 5 match in the main event). Bragging Rights was done in October and was basically exactly like Survivor Series is now. The Brand Warfare rebranding of Modern Survivor Series is based on both the old 2003-2005 mens 5 on 5 main events and Bragging Rights where they had a series of inter-promotional matches that was capped off with a 14 man Elimination match for the bragging rights trophy.
I would rank both the 2014 Team Cena vs. Team Authority and 2016 Men’s Raw vs. SmackDown above 2001 Team WWF vs. Team Alliance, but I’m also just glad they made the list. Those matches were so good.

2016 Survivor series match is easily the greatest ever for me, also the most believable because it's always weird to see wrestlers getting eliminated within 5 minutes

The men’s 2016 one is my favourite, one of my favourite matches ever. From a storytelling standpoint there is just so much stuff, I remember watching it and thinking it was the best thing I had ever seen

@@SJ_RANKS it is a bit of an odd one out that. The only other one that didn't was 1998 which had the Deadly Game WWE Championship tournament. Funny how both shows still had an elimination motif despite the lack of the traditional elimination match, 98 with a one night tournament and 02 with the Elimination Chamber and two other elimination tag matches.

Part of me kinda wishes they keep the whole Smackdown vs Raw thing for Bragging Rights or something else like that, but I feel it could work for Survivor Series if there's a stake on the line, whether it be the right for that brand's biggest match to main event Mania or the winning teams gets the no. 30 spots at for either Rumble match (e.g. winner of women's match gets the women's 30, and same for the men's match). Personally I do feel like Survivor Series has just become more like a "time for Brand Warfare cos it's November" but I do think there could be something more to it. I just miss the times where wrestling storytelling was more natural and focused on consistency rather than shoehorning must-see things to one particular show that may not have any consequence. Couldn't agree more with a lot of these picks however. In the end Survivor Series has become somewhat of a classic PPV and I kinda think, like the Royal Rumble but to a lesser extent, it is one of those PPVs you'll always feel annual hype for no matter what because of the elimination matches, and I guess for the Smackdown vs Raw thing that WWE keeps putting up with. Really excited for the prospect of a Roman Reigns vs Randy Orton main event with both men in the best momentum of their careers too.
This was incredible. Just went back and rewatched bischoff/Austin which is one of my favs but I hadn’t seen it in years. Jr and king are amazing here. King plays the heel until hbks comeback makes him have to turn. They are talking about how there is no way he can comeback. Even the elimination of Christian doesn’t do it. But when Shawn rolls up Jericho there is a Yelp followed by king screaming “I BELIEVE! I BELIEVE” gave me goosebumps for a match 17 years old. Phenomenal stuff. Thanks for reminding me Adam
I totally agree with number 1! Every now and then I'll go back and watch it. That 2016 match was also damn good! Both those matches show teams trying to get along for a common goal but there's dissension within at least one team and it just makes for good fun storytelling
Although the storylines have been bad, the modern ones are great!! Forgetting the amazing champion vs champion matches, last years Raw VS SmackDown VS NXT is the match that made me fall in love with Keith Lee.
My personal favorite: 88 when demolition turned Babyface, the tag teams in the match where great, fuji turned on them. Still think the conquistadors should have won by countout when powers of pain helped master fuji up.
Survivor Series 2001 took place in my hometown, and just so happened to be the last WWE event I've ever attended. There was no greater joy for me than seeing Rock pin Austin's shoulders to the mat. Hell, I was even okay with Vince celebrating afterwards. I must now go relive a great night of wrestling.
I really thought the 1995 wildcard match would be on the list. It was a simple concept of heels and faces mixed together on opposite teams, the booking was a master class in keeping everyone looking strong that needed it.

Team Orton vs Team Batista SS 2008 is so underrated. Regal early elimination, Kofi eliminated with Orton rop ddt, and the finish is absolutely fantastic.
I just watched the 2001 Survivor Series Alliance vs. WWF Match as a recommendation on Peacock and was mind blown. I can’t believe I’ve never seen this one before! Just kept getting better, and better, and better, and then suddenly we I see Austin and Rock pair off in one of their best matches of all time. I was like Damn!, that’s one of if not the best Survivor Series Elimination Matches I’ve ever seen. Went to this subscription to check the rankings and sure enough, number 1 :)

One of my favorite concepts, maybe not the match...but the Ultimate Survivor Match, I've always wanted them to do this again only have the Ultimate Survivor Match be between Raw and Smackdown, with the winning brand getting something like the 30th spot in the Rumble and the losing brand getting the number 1 spot

Vipers vs Visionaries in 1990 is a really good one. Stellar teamwork by Power & Glory, dramatically tragic storytelling, and Shawn Michael's first, imo, truly stand-out performance.
i always thought the wildcard survivor series match was a interesting concept and wish they brought it back one day. Imagine if they did it this year heres some teams just off the top of my head. Team 1(Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio, Seth Rollins, Tucker and MVP) vs Team 2(Daniel Bryan, Murphy, Dominik Mysterio, Otis and Shelton Benjamin) Teams made of a mix of heels and faces can have good storytelling more the personal feuds meaning more than the match
#1 on this list is #1 on this list from a far it is one of my favorite matches of all time with my two favorites at the end but my all time favorite pulling out prevailing with the win 💪🏾🔥🔥🔥 great list!
Team Austin v Team Bishoff is one of my all time fav matches. I've always wondered though Jericho got eliminated and then hit HBK with the chair. Shouldn't that be outside interference and Orton DQ'ed 🤔
In elimination matches, it seems to always come across that whoever does the DQ is the one disqualified. Since Jericho was already eliminated, there was nothing to DQ. But, I can understand the thought.

Best part of the Winner Take All Survivor Series match was Rock and Austin’s duet in the build up.

Only one that was missing was raw men’s survivor series match 2004 (i know why, but i feel like it was great with everything that happened in it abs from it)
Would've liked to see Team Cena VS Nexus too,

Vipers vs Visionaries in 1990 is a really good one. Stellar teamwork by Power & Glory, dramatically tragic storytelling, and Shawn Michael's first, imo, truly stand-out performance.

i always thought the wildcard survivor series match was a interesting concept and wish they brought it back one day.
Imagine if they did it this year heres some teams just off the top of my head. Team 1(Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio, Seth Rollins, Tucker and MVP) vs Team 2(Daniel Bryan, Murphy, Dominik Mysterio, Otis and Shelton Benjamin)
Teams made of a mix of heels and faces can have good storytelling more the personal feuds meaning more than the match

Team Austin v Team Bishoff is one of my all time fav matches. I've always wondered though Jericho got eliminated and then hit HBK with the chair. Shouldn't that be outside interference and Orton DQ'ed 🤔
In elimination matches, it seems to always come across that whoever does the DQ is the one disqualified. Since Jericho was already eliminated, there was nothing to DQ. But, I can understand the thought.
