The Scale 3D RC bodies are ready for paint and weathering! With the old dry Milliput proving to be a little mediocre for smoothing the layers I'm curious to know what your favorite smoothing techniques are. Thank you all for showing so much support not only to this channel but also to the folks at Scale 3D RC. 👍
Id like to know how you made a windshield for the ford.....seeing how the cowl of the body is cut Way wrong.....makes it very hard to do a windshield....so what do we do about that???
I’m newish to printing. I have done it at school before but want to get into it on my own. I’m looking to buy a printer. I don’t know much about filament. How much filament would making one body use? Also how much would that be for a good filament? I have been looking at the ender 3 pro. Think that would be good? Thank you!
Uploader, Do u print helicopter body for RC tht flies? There r lots of heli plastic kits made by Revell, Academi etc , but the problem is those r too heavy for flying. I like 1:35 scale. Pls let me knw.
As long as you can find the files yeah, just look up your desired car model followed by 3d file, or type in the car model in websites like yeggi or cults3d
Laying in a hospital bed with sepsis right now. This was a huge pick me up and made me more excited to get out and start working on my rig again.
Hope you get well soon. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Hope you’re okay

Sick work ! The Nissan Hardbody would also be cool ! They drift, climb, mud, offroad, and would be a really similar to Pathfinder body style.
The Ute would definitely suit a rustic and weathered style!
Really turning out great. Can’t wait to see these finished. Looking forward to what you get to next.
Great work bud. Their looking real good.
Cant wait to see the finished Terrano!
Damn that's some cool stuff you got on your channel! I want to learn how to do this when I get a 3d printer. Keep up the good work!
First Gen Pathfinder awesome!!!!
Are you putting clear windows in these cars? If so, how are you doing it?
Sweet job on those bodies! What about using a chrome hydro-dip for the chrome bits like the light buckets, mirrors, door handles, bumpers, etc?
That's a cool idea. I've never hydro-dipped anything but it's something I'd like to try some day.
Great work
Awesome brother
That pudy did nothing lmao 😂
hey man could you present us a general total print hours for one or both of those bodys? even a ballpark guess would help
I’m guessing about 24 hours per body in total
You could use a few coats of primer to smooth it out

You should try making a mid engine style car like the Pontiac Fiero

Bondo spot putty👌
How long did the actual printing process take for the truck body?
If I had to guess probably almost 24 hours, it depends on the speed that he set his printer to, .3mm is pretty thick layers for a 3d printer
How long did these take to print?

Love this video...Would you recommend a Creality Ender 3 Printer for this work?
I would check out an elegoo Neptune 3 plus, much bigger and I’ve had no problems with mine. I got a good refurbished one off of eBay for 200 bucks

What material do you typically print these in?
I printed these in PLA.
How much do you think it cost in materials to print this body?
Probably MAYBE 15-30 dollars a body, I’m assuming closer to like 20 or less
How the clear parts like windows are made?
Could buy clear plastic folder 📁 like this and cut it to fit into the window area maybe
👍
can you tell me what 3d printer u use?
I used a Tevo Tornado to print these bodies.
