- In this video, I brought up the drawbacks I found in Dualsense Edge and Razer Wolverine V2 Pro based on my one-month experience.
Things I forgot to mention in the video:
- There is a total of six extra buttons on Razer Wolverine V2 Pro.
- The D-pad down button on Razer Wolverine V2 Pro stopped working after two weeks. The controller comes with a two-year warranty.
- Razer Wolverine V2 Pro doesn't come with a controller speaker, which many PS5 native games take advantage of to deliver a next-gen immersive experience.

the deadzone is the biggest issue for me and they never want to fix it. One firmeware change it a little bit, but it's still huge for a real competitive game. You made the right decision.
Im just wondering if you can adjust deadzone in game menú like in warzone? I have the xbox versión and is the best controller Ive tried
unfortunately, it's a biud-in deadzone in the controller firmware. No matter what you do, it'll always be in the controller. However, if you don't play an extremely competitive game, or you're not that senstive to the deadzone, I think we'll all be fine. @@edgaarcorrea.

Them making you not be able to adjust the deadzone is pretty shitty, but in the context of the controller being made for people who play fighting games it probably makes sense.
@@user-bf7sl3uo9p the good news is that they eventually updated the firmware about a month ago. RN we can adjust the deadzone to what we like, even to 0.

hi! i'm thinking of getting the Dualsense Edge to play Apex on my PC and was wondering what software did you use to remap and even use those functions keys + touchpad? I've never owned a PS controller before so I have no idea how Steam handles layouts since it's always been plug and play for me
i'm currently using an older elite with 2 more paddles so i'd be cool to have more clicks available

@@frieren848 You’re welcome! Absolutely. Adjustable thumbstick sensitivity helps FPS experience a lot.
@@neotokyovid Oh I forgot to ask about that actually, the sensitivity adjusting is only done via software on the PS5 right? it's not a physical tension adjuster or available on PC afaik?

Razer has been doing this deadzone bullshit since the V2 debuted. It makes their Wolverine controllers UNUSABLE.

@@neotokyovidI didn't even have it a full 2 months. It just won't turn on. I figured the battery died. Sometimes the LED lights stay on. I hope after a full day on the charger it turns on man.

Edge batery last 3-5 hrs,Wolverine 28 without led 😂 Trigers on Edge is fucked up,Wolverine is so short,that u even know if u hit the triger or not 😂Edge is same like a regular one,only u can change the Analog sticks,if u buy them for 40$ a pair 😂😂And the Wolverine is shit then?

Right. DualSense inherited the design from DualShock, which was first introduced in the 90s, where the D-pad was the primary control for the games. However, nowadays, analog sticks have overtaken the D-pad and become the default controls for the game movements.
It might be a good idea for SONY to make the Edge more modular in the future, without losing its PlayStation heritage, by allowing the users to swap the D-pad and thumbstick as they will.

Meh, I just got a converter that makes you able to connect any ps4/xbox/switch/generic controller to the ps5 making it detect it as a dualsense.
The dualsense is uncomfortable and the d-pad placement sucks when you can't use your left thumb to move at the same time you activate something with the d-pad with your right thumb.

actually, they just released a firmware update for the Wolverine V2 Pro and you can now change the deadzone sensitivity. Besides that, there's literally no other problems with the controller. Other issues are subjective such as not liking the RGB or some people with small hands not being able to reach the back buttons.

@@dragus-it4732 damn, someone said they returned their Razer controller for the Dualsense Edge, then bought it again after the firmware update and never used the Dualsense Edge again. SONY’s pro controller is still a great option though.
