      I made a huge comment about the whole Jaclyn lipstick controversy, can you please read it? It’s so long! Awesome video. I also want to tell you how I love how amazing you treat Jaclyn! I saw your wedding video and when other people were talking crap about Jaclyn’s makeup, it showed me how much crap people talk to Jaclyn and it’s so not cool! I just love how good you are to her. You the man! Please read my comment.

    Jordan, you're perfect for Jaclyn. Same morals and low accountability, happily playing the victim and pointing fingers (all the while Jaclyn straight up lying through the years). I get you love her, but it's also ok to reflect and see where she's made bad decisions, and screwed people over. Only then can she grow.

    You can't say that the lipstick problem wasn't her fault. Her name was on them. She's the owner of the company so she's responsible for everything involved. I'm sorry that what happened destroyed her but you can't say it wasn't her fault. She chose the lab. When your name is one something you are 100% responsible for everything involved.

      In my own experience and just my own opinion, there’s a difference between fault and responsibility. You are absolutely right that as the CEO of the company she is responsible for what happened and dealing with the situation and the backlash. However that being said I’m not comfortable saying she’s at fault for it, for one I truly don’t believe she would intentionally try to sell a product to harm someone and I really don’t believe she would intentionally try to tarnish her name the way she did. Even if you wanted to say “oh she did it for the money” I don’t think anybody lacks that much common sense in order to not realize that launching a faulty product will come back and bite you in the ass. I would understand the whole money argument more if she hadn’t given refunds for every sale or even talk about the situation at all. With “counterfeit cosmetics” and brands that just want to sell products to make a quick buck they never address the situation at all. At the end of the day I just don’t know. I don’t know what went down and I don’t have any receipts showing what happened so I can’t say she’s at fault for anything because I don’t know. And I’ll continue to say that unless receipts come out saying other wise.

    I find it extremely disrespectful to keep calling women “girls” Jordan talks about wanting to be a man but actual men refer to women as WOMEN!
    Also regarding lipstick gate, people were using contaminated products and were putting them on their lips, which gets into their mouths. Consumers have THE RIGHT TO KNOW WHEN SOMETHING IS DANGEROUS!

    • @brookemoloney5488
      @brookemoloney5488 Рік тому

      Calling women “girls” is no different then calling men “guys”. That’s just my opinion, I don’t find any disrespect if someone was talking about me in a group setting a referred to the group as girls. That being said my opinion doesn’t negate yours or that you find it disrespectful, I just wanted to voice how I viewed it.
      In regards to lipstick gate, I don’t know what really happened and I don’t think anyone else does either. It’s totally fine to say what you think happened, but as far as I know there is no physical, hard evidence or proof showing that the lipsticks were expired at the time of sale.

    Thank you Jordan for being so vulnerable and sharing about your brother. Hardening up and going cold is such a common reaction to pain and hearing you talk about how you came out of that gives hope to other people especially other men. I have come to believe that vulnerability is a secret weapon for connection and healing. Also hearing you touch on your brother's passing it gives a glimpse into how you and Jaclyn could share about the pains of being so close to someone who struggles with life hardest challenges. It's so healing to have someone else who really gets it. My aunt is a recovering addict and the pain you go through caring for someone who seems like they don't care about themselves is a pain so many families have to struggle with. It is sooo good that you're able to learn from other people's mistakes since it can really save you a world of pain. Keep on seasoning and stay true to you!

    Bringing "something more to the table" than being a stay at home Dad is completely shitting on stay at home parents. That's a full time job in and of itself. I 100% understand wanting to make a name and support your family, but choose your wording better. My Mom raised three kids on her own and now that I'm a Mom I have even more respect for her than I already did. Being a parent takes everything you have, and you lose certain parts of yourself for a hot minute. It's hard. So let's not talk down on that (even if you didn't mean to).

    • @brookemoloney5488
      @brookemoloney5488 Рік тому

      I disagree. I don’t think he was trying to talk down on being a stay at home parent or being a parent in general at all. All he was saying is that he wants to have another purpose in life besides just being a parent and that is totally okay. No one is disrespecting the hard work and effort it takes to be a parent, but it’s also important to realize too that your goal as a parent is to make your kids independent so one day they’ll be able to leave and not rely on you as much. Your kids should absolutely come first, but being a stay at home parent or a parent in general shouldn’t be your soul identity. One day they’ll end up leaving the nest and if you don’t find something else that fulfills you or motivates you you’ll be stuck with a hole when that time comes.

    • @amyrichcreek
      @amyrichcreek Рік тому +1

      @@brookemoloney5488 Never once did I say that he was doing it with intention. I know he isn't. But that's how it comes off. And you're preaching to the choir...I never used to want kids and would get angry that people treat women like that's all they are good for. It isn't the 50's anymore and not everyone needs (or wants) kids in order to be fulfilled. But I am now a Mom and wouldn't trade my daughter for anything. And I now know what it takes to be a parent on top of juggling a career and my relationship and dealing with my own childhood traumas while trying to make a better life for her. So hearing the words "just a stay at home Dad"...yeah, that's not gonna fly with me. Having kids takes everything you have and the term "just" should have never entered the chat. Period.

      @@amyrichcreek I get where you’re coming from. I think we just view it differently but I hope you were able to understand what I meant and where I was coming from. I’ll be 100% honest I’m not a mom yet but I have always wanted to be a stay at home mom since I was young. Right now I’m in my 20s and I have a job I love, so when I do have kids my opinions might change. I think the way I took what he said was just different to the way you took. I personally didn’t take any offense with it, but I understand and respect your viewpoint as well.

    I just finished the episode. I’ve been following Jaclyn for 9 years. I came across her UA-cam when I was getting past a really bad breakup and was getting into UA-cam makeup tutorials. Jaclyn taught me how to do my makeup. My teenage daughter has watched her tutorials with me and loves her. My first ever Sephora purchase was Champagne Pop. Jaclyn changed my life when I found her tutorial that day that I was sitting in the dark eating pizza for the millionth day in a row.
    I hate what the lipstick drama did to her. She brought so much light to my life when I had so much darkness going on. Watching Jordan talk about what it did is a reminder to stop being so damn mean to people. Be kinder, stop spreading hate. Stop telling one sided stories. Stop making dedicated videos ripping someone apart for views and likes.
    Also, congrats on the wedding! I can’t wait to see Jaclyn’s video! The vlog was amazing!

      @musicislove90 Рік тому

      I've been following Jaclyn for a long time, too, and I feel really bad for all the hate that she's gotten and continues to get. The fact of the matter is, she's human and makes mistakes just like anyone else, but the difference is that all of her mistakes get made public and she gets thrown to the wolves. And even then, whatever mistakes she's made have probably been thrown out of proportion and while some of the responsibility may be hers, I find it highly unlikely that everything that she's been blamed for is actually 100% her fault. There are almost always other people involved, circumstances that don't get talked about, miscommunications, etc. I think she's tried her best to take responsibility for things in the past, but ultimately I don't know if it even does any good. Once people have their minds made up, that's kind of it a lot of times, unfortunately. And I can't help but assume that's maybe why she hasn't said anything about the Koze issue. Maybe she thinks it's not even worth it to bring it up. Plus, she was obviously planning a wedding and probably wanted to just prioritize that and not fan the flames any further. I know a lot of people have some terrible things to say about her, and it's not my intention to invalidate anyone's feelings, but I just can't help but have a soft spot for her. I don't know her and I've never met her, but she seems like a very genuine person who rose to success rather quickly and at a relatively young age. Being in your 20s is a rollercoaster in itself, and then you throw in internet fame, money, gossip videos, brand deals, starting your own businesses... That's a lot to deal with. And then there was everything that happened with John and their divorce on top of everything else. I really can't imagine trying to stay sane after enduring all of that. I mean, sure, she has money and that helps. But money isn't going to automatically buy you peace of mind. It's not going to fix your mental health and trauma. People need to ease up on her. Take a step back, touch some grass, and remember that this is all just on the internet and nothing that Jaclyn has done or is doing is actually affecting your life unless you let it. 😅 She's just a person.

He knows not to bite the hand that feeds him. No one knew who he was until he dated Jaclyn. All his success is because of Jaclyn and her followers. Did you even listen to the podcast? Because not only did they talk about where he’s from they talk about how he was making a decent living and had a good following of his own well before Jaclyn came into his life. The bottom line is there is no evidence showing that the lipsticks were contaminated or expired at all. Nothing has come out and it’s been how many years at this point? Don’t you think if there was really something to support that it would’ve come out by now? My question is if you don’t like either one of them why are you on here giving views and comments because guess what, even if it’s negative it’s still going to help support them.

    I love Jaclyn & I’ve been a fan for years. I have stood with her in multiple scandals and will continue to support her. But honestly, I’m here to really comment on Jordans journey with his brother. That shit spoke volumes to me. I’ve dealt with both of my brothers in severe addiction, prison sentences, children & just honestly very very rough things but was never able to put into words what their mistakes have taught me. Jordan hit it spot on when mentioning that his brother was his biggest lesson. That whole Dynamic of the two is exactly the situation I’ve been in for years. I really applaud him for opening up about it. It’s not easy to talk about and I’m just in awe that he’s strong enough to mention it.
    Thanks to Jordan for really just speaking up about what it’s like to deal with something like this. It’s so hard and I’m super thankful that I clicked on this video. Thank y’all for putting this out there. Some of us have to hear the hard things to keep pushing.
    Also, I think Jordan should absolutely make more music. Honestly fuck these lame ass beauty UA-camrs and fans. They’re they biggest haters you’re gonna find. If that’s your thing, do it 🤷🏼‍♀️
    I like to see Jordan’s growth over the years. We never hear much about his story because Jaclyn’s always in the limelight, which I love, but it’s a partnership so I like to see his story too. I wish he didn’t let people get to him in that way because I feel like he would’ve had some success that he doesn’t think he could’ve had.

She responsible for what happened because she’s the CEO of her company and responsible for her lab, but that doesn’t make her at fault for something her lab did. The way I view it is as a parent, you are responsible for your child and making them understand that their actions reflect you and have consequences but if your child chooses to ignore what you’ve told them and does something wrong , you’re not at fault for your child’s actions. It’s just the way I choose to view it.

    I have to say this. When the whole lipstick thing happened, I even got wrapped up on Twitter after trying to stick up for Jaclyn, being put down by Kendall Rae and Raw beauty kristi. They had flocks and flocks of followers who threatened me, put me down, I had to trash my Twitter. Cancel culture is alive and thriving. And it doesn’t help that these UA-camrs have these crazy ass followers willing to put other people down, just because they were trying to voice an opinion that we should all be good to each other. Raw beauty Kristi made a controversial video right after Jaclyn’s lipstick thing went down, she had a lab coat on with a microscope, and absolutely trashed Jaclyn’s lipsticks. She made money from Jaclyn’s horrible situation, gained probably a million followers in the process, and then a year or two later says she probably went over the top? I can’t respect someone who does something messed up, like trash another person’s traumatic experience, make money off of it, and then acts like nothing ever happened. That whole Twitter thing hurt my feelings pretty badly, I couldn’t imagine how Jaclyn and you felt. My daughters and I had a UA-cam channel, and we would do our makeup together, and make videos, after the whole Twitter thing happened, people found my UA-cam channel and started talking crap there too! It hurt my daughters feelings so bad they quit doing videos, they deleted all videos they were in and stopped doing their makeup. One of my daughters got rid of their makeup. I’m a single mom of 5, and I worked my butt off getting all that makeup and now there’s nothing to show for it. Good thing is, my daughter is finally coming around and my daughters want to start doing makeup videos with me again!!!! I been trying to save money to get enough makeup so we can start doing makeup again and making more videos. Our family has been through so much in the last year. Two of my aunts died, my father had a stroke and my little sister died, my kids aunt. All I want is for us to start making videos again! Thank you for this podcast/video. Tell jaclyn she has a mother and daughter team up in Alaska who love her so so much!!!! And we are all so happy for you both!

      I truly don’t understand why Kendall Rae hates Jaclyn as much as she does. I don’t know if there is a history there or if she just feels that way because she’s friends with Marlena Stell, but it’s kind of strange especially for someone who talks about true crime and shouldn’t base an opinion off of social media especially when I have honestly not seen a single piece of evidence or any receipts showing any kind of contamination or expiration with the lipsticks at all. The way I look at things is I honestly have no clue what happened and until it’s proven differently by actual facts, everyone deserves love and the benefit of the doubt. I’m sorry you had to deal with so much hate.
