If appointment is her interview there is no reason or ability for you to go inside with her. I and most people on visajourney.com would recommend you get married in Thailand and apply for a CR1 visa. K1 visa took us 421 days until interview and approval.
You didn't say it was K1 but you said fiance' not wife. Our plan was for me to come escort her back to USA or I would have visited soonee but not 14 days in jail.
I have already applied for a fiance Visa, we will then get married in the UK and I can apply for the marriage Visa once we are in the UK. Did use a Visa service company in the UK
