This was an award winning chippy when it was based at reed square just down the road on Castle Vale then it moved to its current location and it went down hill a bit with new owners
its the same location but the owners have changed just over a year ago, Nick and Raj used to run it and it was a family run business, now a company called seavers own it and a bunch of other chip shops in and around Birmingham.
why don’t fish and chips places use that white paper stuff anymore ? back in the day it was newspaper then this white paper packaging , and now they use polystyrene boxes 😢
Back in 2014 my uncle had one of the best fish and chip shops in the country 💯🐟🍟👍 Trawlers fish bar in Daventry had a phenomenal reputation for example we would go through more than 100 25KG Bags of potatoes a week and had 10 members of staff serving some of the biggest ques you've ever seen if only you could have paid us a visit for a review you would have very been impressed with our quality fish and chips and kebabs.
Love the irony, in that loads of vinegar usually means the taties are tasteless, which, where i am, are. Mass produced chemically slaughtered nothing ness. Really pisses me off, used to love the meal. The fish is usually tasteless pollock from the north atlantic. Now, i seldom bother with 'em, unless i'm half cut. Love ya stuff, r kid.

You have not reviewed Cod City, 95-97 Baker St, Birmingham, B11 4RP, just off the Stratford Rd Sparkhill, its the cousins of Codfather which you already reviewed, you will love Cod City
Trust me they only served good as a camera there... normally get your fish and chips from there if want soggy batter and the shits after and alot of attitude
