The final appearance of Tilt in the Australian series. Despite having no Gladiator injuries in the Australian version, it was axed possibly due safety concerns raised in the UK series after Panther's injury in the UK's third season (the UK didn't film their fourth season, which featured Nightshade's Tilt injury, yet).
I thought that, too, in which case that’s weak sauce. So many times on Gladiators I have seen competitors get injured because they were afraid of getting tackled. Happens all the time in Hang Tough, where challengers freeze on the rings and then let go as soon as they’re caught, bringing the gladiator down on top of them
It's interesting that Hammond indicates that they took "Slingshot" out specifically because of Kane's likely unfair advantage. I wonder which event was brought in to replace it, and, also if Kane had gone through to finals, whether they would have let him do Slingshot, as he is obviously hoping.
Mike Witney: I just want to say to you, I'll take none of this intolerance from the top to me or any official on the floor! Anymore of this, You'll be red carded and right out of the game!
Got to hand it to Kris, very few could last long up against Tower on Duel. Though, even if he had made it, he probably would've been disqualified for not attacking enough anyway!
The commentator is just doing his job. It's not when they drop but how they land from the drop...landing on your feet is bad. The contestants nearly always have good drops so it gets repetitive.
I grew up with this and it was amazing, unlike the rubbish they have on atm in 2024. Gladiators have no uniformity, no personallities apart from a few, the contestants and liz ellis are terrible and the trash talk is cringe worthy. If you were doing a reboot of the original keep the same look and format.
Flame and Storm always had the best post-event interviews

Interesting, thank you!
Oh my god, I will never f9rget how she scorpioned when she landed on the crash mats 😱
@@MayDay.MjAp- had togocheck that out... KINDA reminded me of final destination
@@Khalek420 oh, that gymnastics chick. Yeah, that was possibly the grosest death in the franchise, bar maybe the escalator turned woodchipper 🤣
also it's not even good to watch when they get dropped so quickly anyway
Haha that sign in the crowd at the start. Ironic since Hammer wasn't in this season as far as I've watched.
Kimmberly Joseph was so talented ❤or something like that
Kimberley Joseph was the star of the show. 😊
She was absolutely gorgeous
Flame is very strong, but Storm could throw some heavy hits in Duel and Suspension Bridge.
Boy, Vulcan told off the Referee. Is in trouble now.
The drama😂
A Gladiator Magazine 😅 i know one of you bought it, own up
In Powerball I suspect Charity was using the lob to avoid being tackled by the gladiators who cannot tackle her if she does not have a ball.

You mean Swingshot
That's true!

not sure why their calling out 'nice drop' over the commentary...since season 2 started they have guys at the mat telling them to drop -_-

I note that all Charity's points came in Pyramid
41:35 “She’s caught up to Charity!” Uh, no.
I would love to be a referee I really know the rules ❤

That's a shame. Not seen the new Aussie one. The new Brit one is pretty good, could be better
