If I have to say anything, this channel is massively underrated. You literally went to Rotterdam! The ticket prices might be very high. You put so much effort and I love it
`just imagine how much easier it would be if we were still part of the EU and the Schengen Agreement. It would literally be turn up with a Valid ticket and reservation and go.
I did the same trip in August the queue was well over an hour at St Pancras to get on the train and the French passport border staff were playing on their phones between checking passports - the journey was great however and the trip back had no issues whatsoever. Great video 👍.
Been on Eurostar to Paris from London Waterloo International and St. Pancras International. And I also have been on the E320 Eurostar trains as well which were built by Siemens.
Hi Ashley, thanks for this informative video! How long did it take you to get through security in Rotterdam? Do you really need those 90 minutes they advice to be there before boarding your train? I can imagine you would need that in London, but is it really necessary in Rotterdam as well?
If you're going to be travelling in Standard Economy, it is 100% worth remembering that the shops in St Pancras are tourist traps that are targeted towards European tourists and are wayyyyy overpriced.

Nice journey through the Channel Tunnel.
Ive taken the Eurostar to both Belgium and the Netherlands. Was always a brilliant experience. My only issue with Eurostar is how expensive it can be
Mega expensive
Thanks bro, I wish you best of your forthcoming trips. Keep showing us great travelling journeys.

Uk was never in Schengen to begin with.
@@life.with.sabine Nobut we should have been
We would never have been part of schengen, it was an opt-out that a handful of countries had. Denmark being another one.
@@schwarzalben88 no we shouldn't
Shut up, gammon. @@richlee509

Great video, I did the same journey to Rotterdam also in September!
You can also use the lounge if you hold an Amex Platinum card.
I did this journey in 2018 before a direct service to Rotterdam so had to switch at Brussels onto a Thalys service

The pink car is still at the station!!!!
I surprised that Eurostar is not fenced off from other trains,
4:54 WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN THEY GET LOCKED
Ooh
You look like vikstar
Cos of Brexit we have the pointless extra checks.
